“It was such a wonderful experience having Vanessa watch Mochi at our house for us! We knew from the first moment at the meet-and-greet that Mochi would be well taken care of and we came home to a very happy pup. Vanessa took her out for walks as requested, sent us great photo updates, and cuddled with her while we were gone. Mochi was genuinely sad when we got home because Vanessa had to leave, and I think that says a lot about their bond! We will definitely ask Vanessa to house sit for us again!”

“Kora was great throughout the whole process. She was very confident about her abilities to take care of my senior cats for an extended period of time which made me feel much less anxious about the whole experience. She clearly bonded with the cats and sent pictures and check ins throughout her stay! She also was very respectful of the apartment during her stay and was always very responsive.”

About: Hello everyone! My name is Miranda and I am a recent Tufts University graduate with extensive animal behavior training. I currently live in Somerville and am excited to join the Rover community! I have experience working at a vet clinic and plan to apply to veterinary school. In addition to my love for animals, I have taken care of neighbors’ and friends’ pets since high school! I am currently working part-time as I complete my veterinary technician certification, so I have plenty of availability to help take care of neighborhood pets. I am generally available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I love being outside and going for walks, especially when I have a furry friend to join me! I am very comfortable handling animals and can easily identify and de-escalate stress responses. I love socializing with dogs and cats, but am able to sense when an animal needs some space.

“Alice is a wonderful puppy sitter and took great care of our golden puppy. There was exceptional communication throughout the entire process, she was very kind and accommodating, and we knew our pup was in good hands with her. We would love to work with her again in future and would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Diana has experience with both puppies and senior dogs and she was great with my dog with separation anxiety. Good communication and lots of photos. I would definitely hire her again.”

“Leah was absolutely incredible with my senior cat Booboo! She took such good care of him, sent pictures everyday, had great communication, and kept the place very neat and tidy while I was away. Would definitely recommend her to anyone and I’ll be rebooking her again!”

“Bryn was absolutely fantastic with our fur babies. Me and my Wife had complete peace of mind while we were away getting married. Constant communication and feedback. She even got along with our chihuahua Lily, who can be tough feeling comfortable with new people. True professional. She would be the first person we called if we needed someone to watch our pets again!”

About: I’ve always been around pets, and I see them as true members of the family—not just animals we care for, but companions we’re lucky to have. I genuinely love both dogs and cats, and I enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s going for walks, playing, or just being a calm, comforting presence. Because I work from home nearly full-time, I’m able to give pets a lot of attention and consistency. I believe in forming real connections with the animals I care for and being a reliable, communicative sitter that pet parents can count on. If I ever have to step out for anything, I’ll always keep you in the loop. Your pet’s well-being is my priority, and I take that responsibility to heart. I work from home full-time, so I’m able to give your pet lots of attention and companionship throughout the day. I’m occasionally out for a couple of hours for work every other Tuesday—and on rare days outside of that—but I’ll always let you know in advance. Your pet’s comfort and routine come first! I treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect. I follow your care instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or cuddle routines. I aim to keep your pet’s day as normal and comforting as possible, and I’m tidy, quiet, and respectful of your space. I check in regularly with updates and photos, so you always know how things are going. My goal is to make your time away completely stress-free—for both you and your fur baby.

Raul G.
“Raul lived upstairs from me in Keene, NH. From the moment we met, it was clear how much he loves and understands cats. His own cat, Sebastian, was deeply loved and well cared for, and that same kindness extended naturally to my cats, Murphy and Cheetah. Raul was always sweet and gentle with them — never pushy, always respectful of their space — and they both grew very comfortable with him, which means a lot. It’s rare to find someone who not only loves animals but truly gets them. I would absolutely trust Raul with my pets, and I know they’d be in caring, capable hands. I would not only trust him to care for my pets, but would totally trust him in my home and personal space. Raul is one of the most trustworthy and honest people I know.”

Anyi housesat our dog and 3 cats for a week and she took great care of them! She gave them plenty of enrichment and sent me daily photos and updates. She is a fast communicator and did a great job following our care instructions! Our house was in perfect condition and our pets were happy and healthy when we returned home. We will definitely be reaching out to Anyi first whenever we go out of town next!

Angie did an outstanding job. Attended to all the things we asked, was very responsive and responsible, showed great flexibility. And she was kind and fun to interact with. We have a menagerie of 2 cats and 2 dogs and she did so well with all of them. Will definitely rebook

Janny was absolutely phenomenal. She house sat and watched our mini sheepadoodle over 6 days and kept us in the loop with how she was doing everyday. She sent us lots of cute pics and followed all of our care instructions perfectly. She was also a wonderful house guest and kept everything very tidy. Absolutely recommend!

Skylar really took great care of my senior dog and cat. She made being away from home less stressful knowing that they were with a sitter that genuinely enjoyed being with our pets. She sent tons of pictures and videos with great commentary that let us know our little guys were in good hands. Our home was respected and clean on return. We will engage her services again. Thanks Skylar!

Liz is absolutely fantastic! She took such great care of Henry, and it was clear from the frequent updates and incredible pictures that he was having the best time. Liz’s communication made me feel completely at ease, and her updates showed just how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she walks. We came home to see Henry happy and relaxed, and I couldn’t ask for more. I Highly recommend Liz to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter!

Lilia watched our 9-year-old Yorkie in our house for just over a week, and it was a great experience for him and us. From the time we first contacted Lilia, she responded quickly and handled everything with maturity and professionalism. She kept us regularly updated with pictures and texts, and it was incredibly comforting knowing that our dog was in such good hands. She took equally good care of our house. We would happily use her again and strongly recommend her to others!

There are truly no words to describe my gratitude to Anny for her care of my two cats. One of them had been injured prior to her coming to my home for stay overs, and severely traumatized. (I was in the hospital and unable to get home to them.) Her loving presence and reassurance that she had it all under control turned out to be true. My cats adored her, and the traumatized one ended up sleeping with her every night instead of hiding under a bed. I could not have been more satisfied with her service, and beyond that incredibly grateful she managed an extremely difficult situation with such loving care and determination. She is the best. Worth every penny. Thank you Anny!
