“Thank you again for your quick response, and communication about his day. I'm so glad you were able to keep Parker. Thank you for the photos, videos, and updates throughout the day. I can tell Parker was excited and happy to have made some new friends today. All accommodations or requests I asked for were granted. I truly appreciate your flexibility and for willingness open your home to take care of Parker. I Highly recommend booking with Danielle.”

“Edmanuel and the Pupkulture team are an absolute dream for any pet parent. Knowing that my dogs are receiving the same level of care, attention, and thoughtfulness that I would give them myself is incredibly valuable and gives me real peace of mind when I’m away. Everything they do clearly prioritizes the dogs’ safety and well-being. My dogs have definitely let me know in the past when they weren’t happy with a daycare option, but with Pupkulture, it’s the complete opposite. They get genuinely excited when we arrive, and they come home happily exhausted, sleeping better than ever. The team is also consistently responsive, provides thoughtful updates and photos, and brings a level of kindness and professionalism that truly sets them apart.”

“Best sitter one could ask for. Tyler is super professional and reliable and has a lovely home with a great backyard and friendly dogs that mine loves to play with.”

“Loveneet is a super sweet dog sitter who will love and spoil your fur baby as much as you will! He was so flexible with my schedule. And so communicative. I appreciate all he did while watching my girl for the day. I would call him again in a heart beat!”

About: We’re a dog-loving husband and wife team offering intentional, hands-on care. When your dog stays with us, they’re part of the family. What makes us different: • 1:1 attention (we limit bookings so dogs aren’t competing for care). • Daily photo and video updates so you never wonder how they’re doing. • Two adults home and involved. Double the supervision and engagement. • Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed (if that’s what they’re used to). • Structured walks plus playtime at our local size-separated dog park for safe socialization. • Comfortable administering oral medications. • Experience with puppies, high-energy breeds, and seniors. We also have a friendly 5-year-old Maltipoo who genuinely loves making new dog friends. If your pup enjoys companionship, they’ll have a built-in buddy. If they prefer space, we can separate them too. We pay attention to routines (feeding schedules, sleep habits, energy levels, and comfort). Our goal is that your dog leaves our stay feeling relaxed, exercised, and at home. You’ll receive consistent updates, proactive communication, and fast responses. If you’re looking for a warm, structured, low-stress environment with real engagement, we’re a great fit. Let’s set up a meet & greet and make sure it feels right for everyone. Pet care is built into our daily routine, not squeezed in around it. At least one of us is home throughout the day, so your dog isn’t left alone for long stretches. This allows for consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, structured walks, and intentional playtime. Our typical day includes: • Morning walk or play session • Midday engagement and check-ins • Evening walk and wind-down time • Flexible potty breaks as needed Weekends are fully available, and we’re flexible with drop-offs and pick-ups when possible. Because we limit how many dogs we take at once, your pup gets our full attention, not just background supervision. Your dog will be staying in a calm, home-based environment where they’re treated like part of the family. We have: • A friendly 5-year-old Maltipoo who enjoys making new dog friends. • A nearby size-separated dog park for safe, structured exercise. • The ability to separate dogs if needed for comfort or temperament. • Experience reading dog body language and managing introductions properly. Dogs are allowed on furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to. We aim to keep their routine consistent so they feel secure. We carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests. We’re comfortable administering oral medications and sticking to detailed care plans. If you and your dog do best in a warm, structured home with attentive supervision and daily updates, this will be a great fit.

Safety and play time is very important to me.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong passion and experience with dogs. I started training and caring for dogs when I was just 10 years old and turned that love into a business at 16 by running a successful dog-walking service. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, always providing the utmost care and attention to their unique needs. From understanding the playful energy of puppies to providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs, I have the skills and experience to ensure every pupper feels loved, safe, and happy. Whether it’s training basic commands, keeping up with a high-energy pup, or offering extra TLC, I’m here to give your dog the best care possible! Pet care is my full-time focus, and I work from home, allowing me to dedicate 110% of my time and attention to the dogs I care for. My flexible schedule ensures that their needs—whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just companionship—are always my top priority throughout the day. Because I’m home, I can provide constant supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of love and engagement. This also allows me to adjust easily to your dog’s routine, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for as if they were at home with you. Safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. If I’m caring for pets in my home, I ensure the space is clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards like small objects or toxic plants. I provide plenty of comfy areas for rest and have secure outdoor spaces for safe playtime. I closely supervise pets during activities and always make sure they feel at ease in a calm, welcoming environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the utmost respect. I follow the pet’s usual routine to maintain consistency and reduce any stress they might feel while their owners are away. I also stay vigilant about locking doors, securing gates, and keeping the pet safe during walks or outdoor time. In either case, I make communication a priority, providing regular updates, photos, and videos to reassure owners that their furry family member is happy and well cared for.

About: Throughout my life, I've owned/cared for a range of family pets--5 dogs, 2 cats, guinea pigs, hamsters and mice. As an foster and volunteer for the Austin Humane Society, Dallas Pets Alive, and the SPCA, I have cared for animals ranging from newborn litters to abandoned seniors, and volunteered at two therapeutic horse ranches... helping ensure the calm, steady relationships between horse and rider. This deep, practical experience means I understand animal behavior, recognize when a pet needs space or comfort, and prioritize their safety above all else. What truly sets me apart is my ability to offer your pet my undivided attention and a calm, stable environment. Because I am retired, I do not have the distractions of a full-time job or a busy household. My day revolves around ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and loved. I live in a highly walkable, vibrant neighborhood that is perfect for daily strolls. In my quiet townhome, your pet will enjoy a small and front yard, a large rooftop, a peaceful routine, and plenty of companionship so you may enjoy total peace of mind while you are away. Throughout the day, I am primarily based at home, allowing me to provide steady companionship, regular potty breaks, and a predictable routine. My schedule enables me to easily adapt to your pet's specific feeding, medication, and exercise habits. Whether it is a midday stroll (weather permitting) or quiet companionship while I read or run quick local errands, your pet will safely integrate into a calm, attentive, and structured environment. At my home, pets enjoy a small, grassy, fenced front yard for quick sniff breaks, plus a large rooftop terrace perfect for stretching legs and enjoying fresh air between morning and evening walks. Indoors, clean pets are fully welcomed on the furniture and beds—my home is their home! I love providing as much quality cuddle time as they will allow!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dallas
These are some of the best sitters anybody could ask for. They are extremely polite and professional and helped accommodate some very last-minute requests including stuff with a same-day notice. We could only hope to be thankful enough to have every sitter on this app be like them.

Jirah is amazing! I was so nervous about leaving my baby, Henny, but she immediately put my mind at ease. She communicates throughout the day, sends lots of photos, and is so gentle and caring with him. I know Henny is in great hands because he actually cried when it was time to leave. 😂 It's also a bonus that he's made a best friend in Gilly. Every time he comes home, he's completely worn out from a full day of playing and having fun. I can't recommend Jirah enough! Just don't book *all* of her availability because Henny would be very disappointed if he couldn't keep going back. 💛

Roy has been incredible! Pogo has hated every other daycare he's ever been to, so I was amazed when, on just the second day, he got excited as soon as we pulled up to Roy's house. Since then, he's been happy to go every day. Roy sends several photos throughout the day, which gives me peace of mind, and he's been super flexible with scheduling and timing. It's clear he truly cares about the dogs he watches. I've already scheduled Pogo to go every Monday through Friday. I can't recommend Roy highly enough!

Brent and Justin are always so great! Westley took a little time to adjust to going to daycare but they always made me feel confident that he was doing well and being taken care of. I love all the pictures I get throughout the day and Westley comes home happy and tired from playing!

Kelsey has been wonderful watching our toy poodle, Roman. She is incredibly sweet, responsive, and easy to communicate with, which gives us a lot of peace of mind when we’re away. Roman is always well cared for, and we really appreciate the attention and kindness she shows him. We’d definitely recommend Kelsey to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

I had an excellent experience with Taylor! He was flexible with my schedule, communicated promptly, and made sure to send updates with photos throughout the day. My dog can be hesitant and fearful, but Taylor (and his dog, Cooper) were patient and understanding. I had full confidence that my dog was in good hands and I plan to use Taylor in the near future!

We had a great experience with Julia! She was able to take Miles last minute for day care and was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. When we picked him up, he was very calm and it was easy to tell he felt comfortable and well cared for. We really appreciate Julia’s flexibility and would absolutely trust her with Miles again!

What a lifesaver! Danielle swooped in and saved the day for me when I had the most last minute request for a day trip I made to Dallas. She was quick to respond, super friendly, and more than accommodating. She was so good with my girl Winnie and I will definitely use her again if I am back in Dallas and need a sitter. Danielle you are… *chef’s kiss* fantastic! 😊

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Dallas commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
