“Always so grateful for Carrin’s caring approach to us and to our Dandy. The communication is always fluid and we appreciate the last minute accommodation because our schedule is always on the go. Thank you Carrin”

“We’re back, safe & sound. Holly did an outstanding job taking care of our pets. We can highly recommend her services and hopefully will be able to use her again in the future.”

About: I grew up with a dog always in the household. My family once bred three litters of Beagle puppies. I currently have a 13 year old Yorkie who never leaves my side and has my highest standard of care and love - 24/7/365. People in my circle call me a dog whisperer, for what it’s worth. I’m THE guy that watches everyone’s dog while the owners are at work, out of town, or unavailable at any notice. Your dog will be treated to the best dog-sitting service in North Texas, guaranteed. They won’t even notice that you’re gone! I work from home full-time, so I will be able to provide immediate duties such as feeding, walking, and playing, as well as my upmost attention and care. I have a large fenced-in backyard along with a big pool and plenty of space to roam around. Your dog will think he or she is in Cancun on vacation. There is a doggie door that can be accessed by small to medium dogs. My Yorkie uses this door to come in and out as he wishes. The doggie door can be locked at any time depending on your preference, or if you’re possibly concerned about the pool. I will be able to crate your dog at any time if requested. I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood that has plenty of sidewalk if you request that I take your dog on walks.
“Grace was great!! She was very communicative and attentive, making sure my cat had solid play time and cuddles while I was gone. She also left detailed notes after each visit and photos.”

“Maggie was the first Rover sitter I ever booked with, and I have been a repeat customer since. She is so easy to work with, and she goes above and beyond in all aspects. She is very communicative and intentional in her care for animals. I receive adorable pictures of my cat and very thorough updates each visit, so I always feel comfortable and trust that my animal is in incredible hands with Maggie. The litter box stays fresh, her bowls stay refilled and clean, and she spends her visits playing and getting to know your animal as much as they’ll allow. My cat once had a small accident outside the litter box and Maggie didn’t hesitate to deep clean the mess. I also once had to leave town for a last minute family emergency, and Maggie was incredibly understanding and helpful with scheduling visits If you’re a first time Rover user or frequently book on the app, I highly recommend Maggie.”

“Cassie was amazing! Super punctual, thorough and took great care of my cat that is super wary of strangers. She also accepted the booking with late notice, only a day or two before it started, which was so so nice of her.”

“Nicole is wonderful! She is communicative and always sends plenty of pictures and detailed updates. Truly goes above and beyond to make sure your fur babies are well taken care of!”

“Sarah has made this process so easy and comfortable! My boy can be a bit of a handful on walks but Sarah had the best patience and care for him! She is very good with communication and sends the best photos!! Would definitely recommend Sarah being your go to sitter!!!”

“Chaka is the best dog sitter. This is my first time ever using a service like this and she made things so easy with the process of getting to know my dog (K2) and me from start to finish. She's always going above and beyond and her care for my dog is level 1000% thank you Chaka!!!”
About: I’ve had cats and dogs for around 20 years, so I’m used to the needs of pets, and try my best to make sure they are as happy and comfortable as possible! I love being around animals, and treat every new friend with kindness and respect. If you’re looking for someone to walk, play, or just hang around with your pet, you’ve come to the right place!! I work during the afternoons, but I’m consistently free during the evenings for overnight stays! I have a break in my day around 3pm-4:45pm, so I’d be able to come by and check in on your pet as well. Feel free to reach out with your dates/times! While I can't offer my own living space for your pets, I can take care of them however you would normally. I’m very adaptable to each and every pet personality!
“Ashanti stepped in at the last minute to help with my pup, and she was so easy to with despite the fact that this was our first time booking together! She responded quickly, ensured all was taken care of, and provided great feedback on the visit. Definitely recommend and will be booking with again in the future!”

“First time using Rover as a first time cat parent. It was a seamless experience. Megan lives in the neighborhood and it gave me great reassurance on my vacation. I would highly recommend and plan to use Megan in the future.”

About: Hi! I’m reliable, caring, and genuinely excited to meet and care for your pets! 🐾 In my previous city, I regularly volunteered at my local animal shelter, participating in Doggy Day Outs and Rescue Runners for dog walks! I loved getting to know all kinds of dogs and giving them some extra exercise, attention, and love. I don’t have a pup of my own just yet, but that means I’m especially excited to spoil yours! I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! ❤️ I’m still learning my day time work week schedule, but I expect to be available from 5:00-8:00AM and 4:00-9:30 PM with lots of flexibility with advanced notice. Weekends open! I’m very attentive to detail and always make sure to follow each pet’s individual routine and your specific instructions. Once I get to know your pet, I’ll remember their favorite treats, toys, and the little things that make them comfortable. I’m patient, calm, friendly, and attentive, and I’ll always prioritize your pet’s safety and well-being while they’re in my care. 🐾

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dallas
I had a great experience booking this sitter for my dogs while I was out of town. She came by for a meet and greet with my boyfriend and was very communicative and responsive throughout the process. She was also kind and friendly with my partner, which made us feel comfortable trusting her with our little angels. We really appreciated her communication and would recommend her to others!

Renee was the biggest help! Last minute scheduling, and she still made the process very smooth. We weren’t able to do a meet and greet, but it truly wasn’t necessary as my pup seemed to be very comfortable with her during each drop in. She provided check ups and pictures as needed and feisty might just have a new favorite lol thank you Renee.

Edward is so nice and very good with my pets. I’m super happy with his service and hope I could find him earlier. I don’t need worry about anything with my dogs and cat in those whole 6 days that I’m out of town. He is nice, professional, and responding very quickly!

Morgan is absolutely wonderful. She took such amazing care of our dog while we were out of town. Even though our dog is very shy with strangers, she stuck it out until he was comfortable and settled with her. Each visit she sent TONS of photos of our boy and we felt very safe and secure with him in her care.

I absolutely love Katie & totally trust her with my Frenchie & house. She went above & beyond for us... she is very easy to work with, shows up on time, follows all directions, and really loves animals! Katie is very good at communicating; I am honestly so happy to have her to help with Rocko!! ***** 5 Stars *****

It was great having Erica watch over my Luna! She was kind, consistent, communicative, and I felt completely comfortable trusting her with Luna while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Erica to anyone looking for someone to care for their pup. I’ll definitely reach out to her again the next time I need someone to watch my pup. 100% recommend! 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
