“Jocelyn did great with a drop-in visit for my fur-buddy Cat! We had a meet and greet prior to my travel to which my cat, who is typically shy to new people, was curious to see a new friend. Jocelyn helped me by stopping by to give my cat some company for an hour, cleaned his areas, replenished food&water, and provided a friend for my lonely buddy while I was away. Would book with Jocelyn again in a heartbeat! Kind, responsible, punctual and trustworthy.”

About: Hi! I’m reliable, caring, and genuinely excited to meet and care for your pets! 🐾 In my previous city, I regularly volunteered at my local animal shelter, participating in Doggy Day Outs and Rescue Runners for dog walks! I loved getting to know all kinds of dogs and giving them some extra exercise, attention, and love. I don’t have a pup of my own just yet, but that means I’m especially excited to spoil yours! I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! ❤️ I’m still learning my day time work week schedule, but I expect to be available from 5:00-8:00AM and 4:00-9:30 PM with lots of flexibility with advanced notice. Weekends open! I’m very attentive to detail and always make sure to follow each pet’s individual routine and your specific instructions. Once I get to know your pet, I’ll remember their favorite treats, toys, and the little things that make them comfortable. I’m patient, calm, friendly, and attentive, and I’ll always prioritize your pet’s safety and well-being while they’re in my care. 🐾
“Elise was helpful in booking additional hours at the last minute and she clearly connected with our dog during our short stay. She was responsible around the details of his care and I hope she can help us again soon!”

About: I’ve had the joy of caring for animals for many years, including pet sitting for both dogs and cats. I had a dog of my own for 14 years, which gave me extensive hands-on experience caring for a pet throughout every stage of life, including the additional patience and attention that senior pets require. I also have experience administering medications and providing more involved senior-pet care. I administered subcutaneous fluids to my own dog every day for two years, so I understand how important it is to carefully follow an established care routine and pay close attention to a pet’s individual needs. While I’ve never had a cat of my own, I’ve cared for several cats belonging to friends and family and have always loved their unique personalities. Whether I’m caring for a puppy, a high-energy dog, a senior pet, or a cat who needs some time to warm up, I take the time to understand each animal and provide consistent, attentive care. My schedule is flexible for the rest of the month. Starting Aug 31st, my availability will be limited to Tuesdays from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM, and all day Friday-Sunday. I’m also available for overnight house sitting. My schedule allows me to be present and engaged with the pets in my care rather than simply stopping by when I have a free moment. I’m happy to work with each pet’s established routine, whether that means walks, playtime, meals, medication, or simply providing companionship and a calm presence. I understand that consistency is especially important for pets, so I make it a priority to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. My approach is centered on consistency as I know how important routines are for our pets. I prioritize following each pet’s routine carefully, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. For drop-in visits, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, bathroom breaks, medication, play, and companionship while giving your pet plenty of individual attention. For house sitting, I’m comfortable staying overnight in your home and maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. For doggy daycare, dogs stay with me at my apartment, which is located in a complex with plenty of outdoor space for walks and bathroom breaks. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior dogs, and dogs who prefer not to interact with other dogs. I’ll always take your dog’s temperament and individual needs into account. I’m also experienced with administering medications and have experience with more involved care from caring for my own senior dog. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s specific needs and care instructions ahead of time so that we’re all on the same page. Above all, I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust. I’ll treat your pet, your home, and your instructions with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.
“Jane was great with my cat and sent prompt responses to all of my messages. She gave helpful updates and sent photos and videos, which was appreciated. She was patient with my girl, who is very shy with new people :) thank you, Jane!!”

“Maggie was the first Rover sitter I ever booked with, and I have been a repeat customer since. She is so easy to work with, and she goes above and beyond in all aspects. She is very communicative and intentional in her care for animals. I receive adorable pictures of my cat and very thorough updates each visit, so I always feel comfortable and trust that my animal is in incredible hands with Maggie. The litter box stays fresh, her bowls stay refilled and clean, and she spends her visits playing and getting to know your animal as much as they’ll allow. My cat once had a small accident outside the litter box and Maggie didn’t hesitate to deep clean the mess. I also once had to leave town for a last minute family emergency, and Maggie was incredibly understanding and helpful with scheduling visits If you’re a first time Rover user or frequently book on the app, I highly recommend Maggie.”

“We recently moved to Texas and finding a good pet sitter was one of my biggest worries. I have 2 cats, one of which needs daily medication. We had our first out of town trip this weekend and Bethany was able to ensure that Mia got her medicine and sent some lovely pictures / updates. Would highly recommend!”

I have a small fences yard for easy potty breaks and I also live near the Katy Trail and Knox! I love bringing my dog places with me so I can do the same for your fur baby! I also have a doggie car seat in my car for safety! I also am comfortable crating if that is needed! I personally sleep with my dog so can do the same for yours :)

“Cynthia was reliable and easy to communicate with and flexible. They followed instructions well and made sure my cat was fed and checked on regularly and she actively gave me updates while I was away. I appreciated the updates, which gave me peace of mind. Overall, a solid and dependable experience, and I would consider booking with them again.”

About: I've had dogs of my own for 30 years and have experience with both puppies and seniors. I don’t currently have any pets so I am excited to welcome some new furry friends! I live in Uptown and have access to an enclosed outdoor dog area for fresh air, playtime and potty breaks when appropriate. I am familiar with local animal hospitals for emergencies. I love to walk around the block or do longer walks at Turtle Creek Park. I’m an artist with a home-based studio, so I’m home throughout much of the day and have a very flexible schedule on both weekdays and weekends - last minute bookings are welcome. • 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day. • 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. • My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles.
About: I grew up with dogs and previously had one of my own, so caring for them feels very natural to me. I genuinely love animals, and when a dog is in my care, their comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priority. Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, I can be present throughout the day and keep routines consistent, whether that means meals, potty breaks, playtime, walks, or medications given at the same time each day. I know how important consistency is for dogs, especially when they are staying somewhere new, and I do my best to make them feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for. I can’t currently have a dog of my own full-time because my work sometimes requires travel, which is part of why pet sitting means so much to me. I treat every dog in my care with the same attention, affection, and responsibility I would give my own. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so pet care fits very easily into my day. I can be home throughout the day for play time, feeding, bathroom breaks, and walks rather than leaving pets alone for long stretches. Your pet’s comfort and safety would be my priority. I live in an apartment, but I have two fenced-in patio areas for safe outdoor time, and I can also provide supervised walks and activity during the day. I’m careful about following each pet owner’s routine and instructions so their dog feels as comfortable and settled as possible. I’m also happy to send updates and photos while your pet is with me. I know it can feel nerve-wracking to trust someone else with your pet, so I carry pet-care insurance through Pet Sitters Associates for added peace of mind. My coverage applies to the services I offer, including sitting, walks, drop-ins, and boarding at my apartment, and includes expanded coverage for client pets plus additional property/bond coverage.

Renee was the biggest help! Last minute scheduling, and she still made the process very smooth. We weren’t able to do a meet and greet, but it truly wasn’t necessary as my pup seemed to be very comfortable with her during each drop in. She provided check ups and pictures as needed and feisty might just have a new favorite lol thank you Renee.

Edward is so nice and very good with my pets. I’m super happy with his service and hope I could find him earlier. I don’t need worry about anything with my dogs and cat in those whole 6 days that I’m out of town. He is nice, professional, and responding very quickly!

I absolutely love Katie & totally trust her with my Frenchie & house. She went above & beyond for us... she is very easy to work with, shows up on time, follows all directions, and really loves animals! Katie is very good at communicating; I am honestly so happy to have her to help with Rocko!! ***** 5 Stars *****

It was great having Erica watch over my Luna! She was kind, consistent, communicative, and I felt completely comfortable trusting her with Luna while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Erica to anyone looking for someone to care for their pup. I’ll definitely reach out to her again the next time I need someone to watch my pup. 100% recommend! 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
