About: I’ve been a devoted dog mom for over 35 years and currently share my home with my own dogs, Lexi and Bailey. I offer overnight boarding and doggy daycare in my home, as well as drop-in visits at your home for pets who are most comfortable in their own space. My home is calm and low-stress, with a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time during boarding and daycare stays. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, including seniors and dogs with mild medical needs, and I’m comfortable administering medications when needed. Whether your dog is staying with me or I’m stopping by your home for a drop-in visit, I focus on maintaining routines, providing gentle, attentive care, and making sure each pup feels safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Your dog will be treated like part of the family! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Because I have flexible hours, much of it working from home, and I keep a calm household, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, meals on schedule, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Dogs staying in my home for daycare or boarding are fully integrated into my routine, with a predictable rhythm that includes outdoor time in my fenced yard, walks, rest periods, and quiet companionship. I keep the environment low-stress and don’t overbook, so each dog receives attentive care and isn’t overwhelmed. For drop-in visits, I schedule my day to allow reliable, unrushed visits at your home, ensuring your pet’s needs are met and routines are followed. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize consistency, calm, and clear communication so both you and your pet feel at ease. Dogs in my home are cared for in a calm, low-stress environment with a securely fenced yard, close supervision, and consistent routines. Crating is available if requested. I provide photo and video updates and follow your instructions carefully during drop-in visits.

Being around animals is the biggest joy in my life and I would love to help care for yours! About Me: Experienced: I've cared for a wide range of dog breeds, from energetic puppies to senior dogs with special needs. Any cats, and sitting for rabbits. Responsible: You can count on me to follow your instructions precisely, from feeding schedules to medication administration. What Sets Me Apart: Personalized Attention: I treat each pet as an individual, giving them the love and attention they deserve. Daily Updates: Expect photo updates, so you can stay connected with your furry friend. Flexible Availability: I'm here for you, whether it's a last-minute request or a long-term commitment. About: For the past couple of years, I’ve been the go-to sitter for friends and family. I’ve handled everything from overnight stays to daily feeding and walking schedules. I’m used to following specific instructions for feeding and making sure pups stay on their routine. I am currently a college student at The University Of Texas at Dallas and work part-time at H-E-B, but I have a very consistent routine. I have plenty of time between my classes and work shifts for potty breaks and walks. I am dedicated to being punctual and will always make your pet’s exercise and feeding schedule my top priority. Safety is my number one priority when caring for your pets. I am extremely careful with leashes and securing gates during walks or home visits. Because I am used to the high standards of my job at H-E-B, you can trust that I will be responsible, respectful of your home, and provide frequent photo updates.

About: I bring over 50 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats, from tiny puppies and kittens to seniors with complex medical needs. I’m also the co-founder of a dog rescue foundation that has helped save and rehome more than 750 dogs, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities—shy, anxious, reactive, playful, or special-needs. I have real-life experience caring for pets with heart, kidney, gallbladder and other chronic conditions, as well as pregnant moms and newborn litters. I’m confident with medications, special diets, post-surgery care, and monitoring warning signs that may require a vet visit. I’m patient, calm, and very observant, but also loving and fun. I adjust my style to each pet: gentle and slow for seniors or nervous pets, more active and playful for puppies and high-energy dogs. My goal is always the same: that your pet feels safe, understood, and truly cared for, not just “watched.” Pet care is at the center of my daily life. I currently work from my home office, which means I’m able to be with your pet day and night. I organize my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and any medications or special routines your dog or cat may need. Because I’m at home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone, and I can give them frequent check-ins, cuddles, and supervision. Whether it’s a senior dog who needs calm, consistent care or an energetic pup who needs activity and attention, I’m able to adjust my day to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. In my home, pets are treated like family. I have a fenced patio where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and supervised outdoor time, and I combine that with regular walks based on their age, energy level, and any medical needs. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—feeding schedule, medications, playtime, and quiet time—so they feel secure and at ease. In a client’s home, I respect your space and your rules. I carefully follow your instructions about feeding, walks, crate use (if any), furniture rules, and bedtime routines. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and condition, whether they need slow, gentle care or more active engagement. My priority is always safety, comfort, and calm, loving supervision, adapted to what your dog or cat needs.

About: I am a gentle, loving, and patient sitter - I have taken care of our sweet, lady Malshi Bailey for 4 years, from the time she was a puppy. I intentionally plan my day so I can provide dependable, unhurried visits while keeping each pet's routine as consistent as possible. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate visits throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and holidays. I have my children every other weekend, but depending on the distance and your pet's needs, I may still be available for quick check-ins during those times. I truly believe that every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized attention. I try and take the time to get to know each pet's unique personality and follow their established schedule as closely as possible. Whether I'm house sitting, stopping by for a check-in, or taking your pet for a walk, my goal is to provide calm, attentive, and compassionate care.

Jonathan is truly the best dog sitter I’ve ever had for Ranger. I had to leave town unexpectedly, and he went above and beyond in every way. He followed Ranger’s schedule perfectly while adding thoughtful touches that kept him happy, active, and loved the entire time. I had complete peace of mind knowing Ranger was in such great hands. What really impressed me is that Jonathan is amazing with large dogs—Ranger used to pull on walks, and now he’s noticeably better. It felt like I had a dog sitter and a trainer in one. This experience was on a completely different level than any pet sitter I’ve used before. I won’t leave town again without checking Jonathan’s availability first. If I could give more than 10 stars, I would!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Plano choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Plano with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
