I’m a college student looking for a summer job, to help pay for my tuition and expenses! This will be a great stress reducer. I am very patient and respectful of an animals boundaries. Sometimes, pets don’t want to be bothered when meeting new people, and that’s fine!
About: I bring over 50 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats, from tiny puppies and kittens to seniors with complex medical needs. I’m also the co-founder of a dog rescue foundation that has helped save and rehome more than 750 dogs, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities—shy, anxious, reactive, playful, or special-needs. I have real-life experience caring for pets with heart, kidney, gallbladder and other chronic conditions, as well as pregnant moms and newborn litters. I’m confident with medications, special diets, post-surgery care, and monitoring warning signs that may require a vet visit. I’m patient, calm, and very observant, but also loving and fun. I adjust my style to each pet: gentle and slow for seniors or nervous pets, more active and playful for puppies and high-energy dogs. My goal is always the same: that your pet feels safe, understood, and truly cared for, not just “watched.” Pet care is at the center of my daily life. I currently work from my home office, which means I’m able to be with your pet day and night. I organize my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and any medications or special routines your dog or cat may need. Because I’m at home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone, and I can give them frequent check-ins, cuddles, and supervision. Whether it’s a senior dog who needs calm, consistent care or an energetic pup who needs activity and attention, I’m able to adjust my day to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. In my home, pets are treated like family. I have a fenced patio where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and supervised outdoor time, and I combine that with regular walks based on their age, energy level, and any medical needs. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—feeding schedule, medications, playtime, and quiet time—so they feel secure and at ease. In a client’s home, I respect your space and your rules. I carefully follow your instructions about feeding, walks, crate use (if any), furniture rules, and bedtime routines. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and condition, whether they need slow, gentle care or more active engagement. My priority is always safety, comfort, and calm, loving supervision, adapted to what your dog or cat needs.
About: I grew up with dogs and am experienced with their care. I managed all of the care for my own dog after she was diagnosed with bone cancer and underwent a limb amputation and chemotherapy. I am competent, caring, and detail-oriented. I will provide your dog(s) with love and affection and follow all instructions given. I am also great at sending updates! I just completed a PhD and am currently between jobs, so my schedule is flexible for dog walking, drop in visits, and house sitting in your home. In your home or neighborhood, I will follow all instructions given (requesting more if needed) and be sure to leave your home tidy and secure!
“Was agreeable to doing a drop in for our dog short notice when our other sitter couldn’t. Appreciated her communication with me on how the drop in went. Sent photos of their time together :)”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life from the smallest to the biggest so I have had my fair share of taking care of different kinds of breeds! No dog breed scares me I love them all! I currently own two small dogs and 4 cats they all range from ages 6 months-8 years old I work part time right now as a patient transporter at a hospital so I have time in my day after taking care of my own furry friends! My day looks like taking my dogs out at least twice a day they also go out into our porch to relax they get fed off from when we wake up to about 10pm at night and my cats are also about the same except the going outside part since they are indoor cats! But their litter box is cleaned twice a day they get plenty of playtime and yea!
“Roua is such a gift to our family! We fully trust her with our Aussie and we know she will have fun and be loved. Roua is always on time and we are very grateful for her care for our furry family member.”

Whether your pup is full of zoomies or your senior dog needs a little extra TLC, I’ve got the patience, experience, and heart to match their needs. I’m great with routines, gentle with training, and quick to pick up on each pet’s unique personality. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes, and I’m confident with everything from giving meds to reinforcing positive behavior. I’m a firm believer in belly rubs, long walks, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Basically? You can think of me as your pet’s new favorite human—besides you, of course! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely love being around animals. I plan my day around their needs—whether that means early morning walks, mid-day potty breaks, or cozy evening playtime and snuggles. I’m flexible and organized, so I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need to feel secure and happy. Caring for pets doesn’t feel like a chore—it’s the best part of my day! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my goal is always the same: to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for. In my home, I create a calm, clean, and cozy environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I stick to their usual routine—feeding times, walks, playtime, and bedtime—to keep things familiar. I have designated spaces for naps, play, and quiet time, and I always supervise closely to make sure they feel secure and happy. In your home, I care for your pets with the same level of attention and respect. I follow your instructions closely, maintain their daily schedule, and provide plenty of love and interaction. I’m mindful of your space, and I always keep things tidy. I also provide regular updates with photos and notes, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in great hands while you’re away.
“Anna was great with visiting our dog twice day. She sent photos which helped us know our dog was eating and enjoying the visits. She adjusted to a change in our schedule easily and responded quickly to every inquiry we sent through the app. We would definitely use her again.”

About: First I would like to mention that I own a pup myself, her name is Honey and she’s 3 and a half years old! She gets along well with other pets and I am always contemplating if I should get a second dog. I love all pets no matter the size or breed. I often watch my friends’ dogs when they are out of town. I live in a great location where I can take them out to the trails across my apartment and everyday after work I take my dog to a nearby park to get her energy out! I also work from home and if I ever need to go into the office I am two minutes away! I have a work from home job! I only go into the office one week every month and I live 2 minutes away from my office that I would walk home and take the dogs out if I decide to take any jobs that in-office week. On a typical day I get up at 4 am and I’ll take the dogs out before I head to the gym and then again when I get back before I start my work. Though if there is a need for a dog to go outside I’m able to leave my desk at any time to take them out. I have a small fur baby who loves other dogs! I will also be home all day to care and play with your pet, we also have plenty of toys here.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life so caring for pets is second nature to me! As an adult, I had my own dog for nine wonderful years. She was truly my soul dog, and caring for her through a terminal illness deepened my understanding of both the joy and responsibility of pet ownership. Because of that experience, I’m comfortable administering oral medications and subcutaneous fluids, and I’m especially sensitive to the needs of senior or medically fragile pets. I bring not just experience, but compassion, patience, and the kind of attention to detail that comes from truly loving animals. I currently have a goofy 1yo mutt named Ollie, who has never met a stranger and is always looking for a playmate! I am currently a full-time student so my schedule is very flexible and can be adjusted however needed. Otherwise, I'm a homebody and prefer to spend my time with your pets! We do walks several times a day and have a huge dog park (fenced but the walkways are open like at a baseball field) less than 2 minutes away from our apartment. We have an extra bedroom that can be utilized if anyone needs some alone time and we have a huge crate available, if needed (or feel free to bring your own!).
Plano dog parents share their Rover experiences
Marshall took care of my Gemma for 3 days and was so great with her. He came to do a meet-and-greet beforehand and I knew she would be well taken care of. He was great about sending a thorough update and photos at ever visit. He is so mild-mannered and you can tell he cares about the pets he looks after. I would highly recommend him.

Kennedy has been absolutely wonderful with our dogs. She’s incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the animals she’s looking after. We always feel at ease knowing they’re in such good hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter!

Jonathan is truly the best dog sitter I’ve ever had for Ranger. I had to leave town unexpectedly, and he went above and beyond in every way. He followed Ranger’s schedule perfectly while adding thoughtful touches that kept him happy, active, and loved the entire time. I had complete peace of mind knowing Ranger was in such great hands. What really impressed me is that Jonathan is amazing with large dogs—Ranger used to pull on walks, and now he’s noticeably better. It felt like I had a dog sitter and a trainer in one. This experience was on a completely different level than any pet sitter I’ve used before. I won’t leave town again without checking Jonathan’s availability first. If I could give more than 10 stars, I would!
