I’m a full-time, independently insured and bonded pet-care professional with lifelong experience caring for dogs and cats and more than 100 five-star Rover reviews from pet parents who value reliability, communication, and attentive care. At home, I share my life with three cats and three dogs, so I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else's hands. Since making pet care my full-time work in July 2025, I have built my schedule around providing consistent, individualized visits. I personally complete every booking, so your pet will not be passed between rotating team members or cared for by someone you have never met. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, shy cats, energetic dogs, and animals that benefit from a patient, predictable approach. I can administer routine medications when clear instructions are provided and will reinforce your pet’s established cues and household routine. Every visit includes focused care, attention to your pet’s comfort and safety, and a detailed Rover Card with photos and an honest update.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety begins with clear instructions and a secure routine. Before taking on a new client, I like to do a meet-and-greet so I can learn your pet's personality, review entry procedures, find supplies, and make sure we're a good fit. On every visit, I check doors, gates, collars, harnesses, and leashes before heading outside. I don't use choke, prong, or electronic collars. During dangerous Texas heat, storms, or other unsafe conditions, walks may be shortened or swapped for a shaded potty break and indoor enrichment. To keep every visit smooth, I'll ask for your vet's information, an emergency contact, reliable home access, and written care instructions. If I notice unusual behavior, signs of illness, a property concern, or anything else that could affect your pet's well-being, I'll let you know right away.

Zachary walked our dog every day over a 2-weeek period - our dog can be timid meeting new people, but he quickly built trust through patience and consistency. He was punctual, communicative, and professional throughout, and our dog grew genuinely excited to see him each day.

Schedule
I intentionally limit how many visits I take each day and keep a focused service area, so every pet gets dependable, unrushed care and I'm never overbooked. Visits are scheduled within agreed arrival windows to allow for traffic, weather, and the needs of pets earlier on my route. If your pet needs care at an exact time for medical reasons, like insulin or timed medication, let's discuss it before booking and I'll plan around it. Holiday and peak-travel dates fill up quickly, so I recommend booking as early as you can.

- Before booking, please tell me about your pet's normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, mobility needs, and favorite activities. It's just as important to know about any history of biting, escaping, leash reactivity, resource guarding, fear, separation anxiety, or sensitivity to people or other animals. Please be candid. Plenty of wonderful pets have quirks, and knowing them upfront lets me plan safe, low-stress care and make sure I'm the right fit. Along with home-access instructions, please let me know about any indoor or outdoor cameras and anyone else who may enter the home during the booking.
