“Ana was a great dog sitter. She treated our dog like family and took great care of him. She also sent almost daily photos and videos of him, so we felt as if we were also there with him. Highly recommend.”

“We had a great experience with Lisa. She took great care of our babies, and updated us with cute pictures of them while we were gone. We definitely appreciate her flexibility with timing of drop off and pick up as well as being quick super responsive every time we messaged her. If we ever need care for the dogs again, we surely will go with Lisa!”

“Great thoughtful care with a fun, accommodating and warm home. I was impressed by their attentiveness, organization, and proactive communication. Alexis and Sean provided my dog and I with an excellent experience and I’d highly recommend their services”

“Min did an amazing job taking pictures, videos and providing updates on Jenny. Jenny was more calm and well-adjusted when I arrived to pick her up. Her ears were also standing up versus lying down in all the pictures and videos which tells me she’s having a good time. She also had lots of furry friends to play with. Thank you Min!!”

“Best care for my pup! Amazing sitter, she watched her for nearly a week and kept me updated. My pup was so well taken care of and Molly was so accommodating with all my flight changes. Highly recommend!”

“This was the first time I've boarded my dogs with a new sitter and glad it was Heather. She is very responsible and genuinely loves animals. My older dog is on heart meds and needs to take them twice a day. Heather sent pictures and even let me know that Brie had taken her meds. To be able to go out of town and know your babies are in good hands is invaluable. Don't take chances with your precious pets. Heather is a pro and they both came back calm and relaxed. Could tell they had a good time.”
“My dog had a wonderful time staying with Zachary. Zachary was extremely professional and set thorough expectations. I tend to worry quite a bit about my pets and I had zero worries with my dog in Zachary’s care.”

“Rebecca & Rob has took care of Coco so well, they provided all the updates with pictures and videos. Easy to work with, flexible and helpful. Will use them again and recommend them for others. Thank you, John”

“Vicki is absolutely amazing. She loves animals so much and is a natural at nurturing and caring for each individual animal's needs. She cared for my beloved ssenior dog Bonny during which time she took a bad turn and needed extra care beyond the expected which meant the world to me and Bonny. She deeply cares and goes the extra mile. She took many pictures and videos for me to cherish. I cannot recommend Vicky more highly!”

“Kate did a wonderful job taking care of Bella and she came home happy and tired. She also sent a lot of pictures of videos of our sweet girl. We will definitely be using Kate in the future.”

“I love Amy because Amy loved my little dog, Ellie. Took her for walks and accommodated her in her home in such a loving way. She even gave her a little special supper when Ellie's tummy got upset. We will absolutely use Amy again”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Plano
We had such a great experience boarding Blu! ❤️ We just moved to Texas and were a little nervous leaving him somewhere new, but they made us feel completely comfortable and kept us updated throughout his stay. It was clear Blu was happy, loved, and well taken care of. 🐾 We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be using them again in the future. 10/10! Highly recommend! ❤️

I love Ruth! And what's more my little Chihuahua, Buster, seems to love her. She is such a great dog lover. She sent me photos of my dog every day almost. I was so happy to get them. He made himself at home and he seemed so content. I definitely recommend her for your furry family. I will use her again for sure.

We feel so lucky to have found Amber! This was Hudson’s third stay with her. She was so responsive, flexible with our flight delay, and sent many photos. She’s the best & Hudson agrees! He loves her too & ran to her front door when we dropped him off :) Thank you Amber!!!

We couldn't be happier with the care provided for Freya and Naomi! Both our dog and cat were well looked after and happy. Communication was seamless, and we received great updates throughout. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!

Cindi did a great job of keeping Bella...Bella's routine includes a morning walk, and Cindi included that for her. Cindi also sent updates with photos and videos to let us know how Bella was adjusting to her care... Cindi also allowed Bella to sleep with her, because Bella is clean and very small, and we allow that at our home. Cindi is very caring and friendly, and she provides a loving environment for your pup in her home. I feel that Cindi will make every effort to accommodate any reasonable request related to making your pup comfortable in her home. Cindi has a beautiful home, which includes a large fenced back yard with lush green grass for your pup to enjoy. My recommendation is that Cindi's house is a great choice for your pup.

Book it and forget it! This was my first time boarding with Alexis and Sean and I was more than pleased with them. Right off the bat communication was great. They proposed a meet and greet which was a green flag. I knew pretty quickly I wouldn’t have anything to worry about. Great folks, beautiful house, no bs! They have a couple little ones running around to keep your dog occupied. I received daily updates and have no complaints whatsoever! Book with confidence.

Rubi was amazing with Zoe! She kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos, and I loved seeing how much fun Zoe was having with her and Roscko. She was very attentive to Zoe, making sure she ate, drank water, and got plenty of playtime. I felt completely comfortable leaving Zoe with her and would definitely book with Rubi again! ❤️

Anjelica and Juan were amazing with my dog! They sent a lot of pictures and video updates everyday. They made sure my pup got lots of play time. They even helped and made sure he got his medication daily. Also they helped trying to train him to stop jumping on people without me even asking. I would definitely book with them again in the future (:

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
