I am a current foster with Doodle Rocks Rescue and have had many dogs through this program. My dogs are a part of our family. I have a dog (Lulu) that has her CGC Award and is training currently to become a Therapy Dog. I do my best to keep all the dogs on a routine as that really helps them learn the ropes. I also work daily on basic commands always rewarding with treats!

Shannon is awesome, and has been so patient with my Dachshund over the past visits, as the dog acclimated to the new environment. With Shannon’s help (and medication administration!) she has gotten over her anxiety during boarding. My dog LOVES her!!
Shannon was great. We received updates and pictures and our dog looked so comfortable in her home.
My senior dog unfortunately was sick and had bad diarrhea while staying with Shannon. She took care of him, cleaned him up, and cleaned up his bedding. And she kept me informed until I could pick him up. I really appreciated her great care of my baby, and she checked up on him the next day!
Shannon was great to work with and communicated openly. She was very welcoming and easy going. I enjoyed our vacation without worry because I knew our dog was well cared for. Thanks Shannon!

Luka, who normally has separation anxiety whenever he senses that I'm leaving on a trip, pulls me towards Shannon's front door when we arrive. He clearly always has a great time, and Shannon is excellent about keeping me updated during his stays. She is highly recommended from me and Luka.

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. Time to play and snuggle is always on the agenda. Training and play are the name of the game.

I have a fenced yard and gates throughout my house to keep my furry friends out of harms way. I do crate train as I know my little friends get anxious when I'm away and it's for their safety to keep them crated.
Pets
A typical day
I love to play with the dogs outside when the weather is nice or inside. I have puzzels and tons of toys to keep them busy. I play with them first thing in the morning and then we have a potty break and short play time at lunch. After work it's all about playing hide and seek and fetch!
