I’m so grateful to Ruth for taking such great care of Taco for two weeks. It was my first time leaving him with someone else, and since Taco can get stressed easily, I was a little nervous. But he was so happy and comfortable with her, which gave me peace of mind. Ruth was also very kind and understanding, even when I was almost an hour late picking him up. I definitely trust her and will bring Taco back to her for future trips! ❤️🐾
Ruth was great and exactly what we were looking for in a house sitter. We wanted our dogs to have a home environment as we were going to be gone for an extended amount of time. She gave us daily picture updates on our dogs, which made me feel better while we were gone. I highly recommend Ruth and we will definitely be back.

Ruth is very sweet and also very sweet on the pups she watches. My baby is a super senior (16 years old) and from the meet and greet, she was comfortable and happy. Highly recommend doing a meet and greet!
Ruth took care of both of our dogs! Sent pictures each day and was flexible when our flight got canceled. Would definitely recommend!

Schedule
Retired I have the flexibility and freedom to schedule pet sitting to whomever I want and for how long I feel like it. I only want a midsize group of dogs at a time.

I want to take care of the pets in my secure and pet-friendly home, ensuring their safety and comfort. This will help me determine if this occupation is something I want to continue long-term, depending on the pets. I schedule meet-and-greets prior to stays from Monday through Thursday, 8 AM until 7 PM. This leaves Friday through Sunday open for owners to pick up and drop off their pets without interruptions. I am excited to provide loving care for your pets in my home environment.
A typical day
I have a large yard for dogs to run and exercise in which is cleaned daily and is fenced. I walk the dogs when needed and I play games with them.

- Two issues have come to the attention of the public regarding the boarding of pets recently, and I would like to address them if you are reading my profile. 1. I will not board your pet if this is the first time without an official meet and greet before the scheduled boarding date to see if everything is compatible, and you, the pet owner, can see if your pet will be comfortable before this visit. I can also view the behavior of your pet with other dogs in a group setting. 2. Regarding the cancellation policy, I am willing to work with you and Rover if this should occur. Rover has established this policy, and I work within the established guidelines. The difference now is I don't make exceptions since my circumstances have changed over the last year. Let me know everything about your pet to make them comfortable, like any special care they require, and all medicines needed while they are here. This will include dog items needed, such as a bed, food, leashes, and so on. (Please no breakable items like glass or ceramic dishes.)
