Cheryl was so friendly and not phased at all by our 70 lb German Shepherd, who can be a little bit rambunctious at times. He was very communicative from the start and always responded in a timely manner during the booking process. Libu even set up a meet-and-greet so George could meet him and his sweet pup, Emma, before we left. Libu sent daily pictures and videos and kept me updated on how George was doing. As this was my first time using Rover, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Libu and will definitely book with him again in the future. Natalia did a great job with my new dog Niko, a 21 pound well-behaved 8-year old Shiba Inu, during a two-week stay. The negatives were things I was warned about beforehand, and were strongly outweighed by the positives, but I'll give lists of both for the sake of comprehensiveness and full disclosure. Positives: Great care that went above my expectations. She weighed Niko at one point to check that his weight was constant; at the beginning of the stay she detected a need for a bigger/better crate and bed for him and purchased those; we had a video call during my trip; she made a Happy New Year's card with my dog's photo, which I sent to all my contacts; she sent plenty of updates; she struck me as honest and complimented me on my honesty too. Negatives: Her two-bedroom house was dog-crowded for much of Niko's stay -- with the friendly small puppy Gonzo who lives there but also additional boarded dogs -- but I was warned of the possibility; she doesn't take dogs on walks because her neighborhood isn't safe enough for it, with fast cars, and she doesn't take dogs for walks anywhere else, either, which I also knew about going into it (I had tried boarding him at two places that do provide multiple daily walks, though I don't know about the details of these walks, but these places didn't have availability during the holiday season and we had planned our trip very late).
Lea was absolutely wonderful with our dog! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, consistently sending us photos and updates that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pup was clearly well cared for and happy. We would definitely book with Lea again and highly recommend her!
Mandi is simply the best! Zeus had such a wonderful time staying with her while we were away for the weekend. Mandi sent sooo many updates and photos which made us feel so connected with Zeus even being so far away. We cannot recommend Mandi enough and Zeus is so excited for us to travel again so he can go back and visit!
