“Louann took very good care of Lexi. Lexi was glad to see us when we got home, but is missing Louann. I would highly recommend Louann as both a pet sitter as well as a house sitter.”

“Kellie was able to be a dog whisperer with my little pups! She wore them out and loved on them in the best ways possible during her stay at my home. She communicated well and was reliable and respectful throughout her stay. I adored working with her and will certainly enlist her services again!”

“Finding Addison was truly a blessing. Our original pet sitting plans fell through at the very last minute, and I was so fortunate to find her when I did. From the moment I met her, I just had a great feeling. She has such a kind, calming personality, and all of my dogs immediately took to her—which never happens! They’re usually very reserved with new people and take time to warm up, but with Addison it was instant. That alone gave me so much confidence. Throughout our trip, Addison kept me updated every single day without me ever having to ask. She sent photos, shared what the dogs and cats were up to, and made me feel like I was right there with them. She followed every instruction perfectly and honestly went above and beyond in so many ways. One of the sweetest surprises was coming home to little things she had done around the house that I never asked her to do. She even emptied the dishwasher and put all the dishes away. When I thanked her, she said her mom always taught her that after a trip, people should come home to a clean house so they can truly relax. That really touched me. Kudos to Addison—and to her mom—for raising such an incredible young woman. The greatest gift she gave me was peace of mind. Knowing my dogs and cats were loved, cared for, and genuinely enjoying their time with her allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation without worrying about them. That’s priceless. I already have another trip planned, and Addison will absolutely be my first choice. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She exceeded every expectation, and I am beyond grateful to have found her.”

“Izzy is very kind, responsive and was great with our dogs! She has been around animals a lot and has a vast array of knowledge when it comes to dog behaviors and she had so much empathy! We came home to two happy dogs! Thank you Izzy!”

“Nicholas has watched our dogs multiple times in our house when we have gone out of town. They are always happy and full of treats when we get home, and our house is clean!”

“Monique was great! Had a last minute hiccup come up, but Monique was flexible and worked around issue to make sure she was still able to care for Wyatt. Super responsive. Very consistent and timely in providing updates and photos. Could tell she was going to be very sweet w/ Wyatt upon meeting her, and I was right. 10/10 recommend”

“Zoila house sat our two dogs and two cats on Christmas weekend. She was prompt, a good communicator, sent pictures, and was upfront about her work schedule. When we came back our pets were well cared for and happy. We look forward to booking her again.”

“Jess was absolutely amazing. I have multiple pets and fosters. She came over multiple times ahead of time (that I paid her for( do my animals could get comfortable with her. While I was actually gone she sent me daily updates along with pictures. She was extremely responsive and very good with my animals, highly recommend her.”

“She was beyond amazing. First trip in as long as I can remember that I did not worry about my dogs. I have a dog with anxiety and normally come back to some sort of destructive behavior and absolutely none with Jayne watching them. Not enough stars to truly express the best sitter who accommodated what we needed”

About: I've volunteered at shelters, babysit family / friends dogs, and been working with dogs officially for a year, also I have 1 dog and 3 cats. I'm currently learning how to train dogs. I'm currently working full time, but I am available everyday. I get a 2 hour break when I work 6:45 to 7 on weekdays. I am able to come check in mornings I have to work, and come back at 1. every thursday I am off along with another day. I live In a pretty spacious apartment. If need I can crate and / or separate my animals. We have a nice trail in the back, along with a dog park right in the front. I have spare dog beds, bowls, toys if needed, and I don’t mind going to the store.
“We had an amazing experience with our Stephany. She took wonderful care of our pets and our home, communicated clearly the entire time, and truly went above and beyond. When our travel plans changed unexpectedly, she stayed two extra nights without hesitation, which gave us so much peace of mind through the ice storm we had at the time. It’s rare to find someone so reliable, flexible, and genuinely caring. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

About: I've had 4 dogs myself from puppies until 14 years of age. I've been through puppy training and obedience training with 3 of my dogs. I love playing with them and making sure they get the exercise they need. I love dogs and they love me. If I could rescue and care for all the dogs in shelters and pounds I would just so they would know what love is. I'm a major dog lover I am currently working full time at Target, five days a week. My days off vary week to week but I do get my schedule three weeks in advance. Most of my shifts are from 11:00am-6:30/7:00pm and one or two closing shifts of 1:30/2:00pm-10:00pm I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for your dog to run around and play. I have two teenage children who will help care for and love on your dog.
“Sandhya was an amazing blessing to us in house sitting/dog sitting for our golden retriever. She was very professional, sweet with our dog and communicative while we were away with daily updates and photos. Even washed her own sheets/towels and vacuumed the room which was very courteous of her. :) We will definitely trust her again with our dog when we're away!”

“Having Ashley as our sitter was the perfect decision! We were able to enjoy our honeymoon knowing that we’d get pictures of our dogs walking, playing, or just relaxing twice a day! She was very caring, professional, and kept me well informed—especially about my dog that sometimes skips meals. Definitely would rebook with Ashley :)”

“Courtney was a wonderful dog sitter that we would recommend to anyone looking for the best care for their pets. Courtney went above and beyond to make sure our pets were safe and cared for and keeping constant communication throughout the week on how they were doing.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Parker
Izzy is so wonderful, my sweet kitty has some medical needs and he’s a very special boy, Izzy is so careful and considerate with all his needs and her number one goal is to make sure he is comfy and I am confident when away. Absolutely would recommend her to anyone needing a confident and reliable sitter.

Juno had an amazing stay, and I couldn't be happier with the care she received. It was clear she was treated with kindness, attention, and plenty of love, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. We received great updates throughout the stay, and came home to a happy, healthy, and relaxed dog. We would absolutely book with Wilson again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy Rover sitter.

Adrienne was the epitome of what you would want and expect with a dog sitter. She is reliable, detail oriented and asked all the right questions prior to her taking care of my two Great Pyreness. We LOVED Adrienne! I truly was able to enjoy my vacation and not have to be concerned about how my boys were doing. She was communicative and knew when to take on walks, especially with the Texas heat upon us, and balanced this equally with their feeding schedules, treats, and even bedtime routines. I am very selective on who cares for my boys and I wouldn’t hesitate on booking with her again! ❤️✈️🌴⭐️

Genevieve did a great job dog sitting my two standard poodles the week I was out of town. She was responsive, sent picture updates throughout my time away. I was happy with how active with walks, trails, parks she kept up with them! Would definitely book with her again.

Hande took such good care of our babies. I could tell they loved her by the pictures she sent with them. We have a senior dog and there were some potty issues that she handled very professionally. She took care of our home and was very communicative throughout the whole time we were gone. We will definitely be booking her again when we go out of town.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Parker walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Parker maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Parker choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Parker. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
