Reformed nurse turned entrepreneurial mom who longs to spend time outdoors with four-legged friends. I truly believe there is no such thing as “a bad dog”. I’ve been boarding and pet-sitting for friends for several years and cared for pets of my own my entire life. Friend’s pets get Christmas presents from me. I can’t fight my nature!

I am a repeat Lizzie booking. She always gives great care to Baxter and sends such great photos of him during his stay. She takes great care of him and even now provides mats for him to walk on the slicker floors. She does a great job of communicating and keeping me up to date with what he is up to and what his favorite spots are. If you are looking for someone to take as good as (if not better) care for your pet, I recommend Lizzie for the job!
Lizzie is the best dog sitter we’ve ever had! Our dog loves playing with her and she’s so attentive and good at communicating with us. Couldn’t ask for a better sitter!
We love having Julie staying at Lizzie’s place, she is the best!
I don’t know what we would do without Lizzie’s help. She is very caring and competent.

Schedule
I walk daily and love to take the doggos with me. I am a sole proprietor of my own flexible business. Working from home means space & time for family life and pet life!

Safety, trust & environment
At home I have a fenced yard, one 18-year-old Chiweenie, and 2 sweet elementary-aged kiddos that love any kind of fur baby. Care in our home is individualized based on unique needs and group dynamics. Pets are separated at meal times and bedded by comfort. Let me know if you prefer crated or not. Outdoor play is supervised (and incredibly fun!) All dogs are introduced one at a time in the backyard for safety and behavior assessment. For arrival, please message ahead with ETA. I will meet you outside prior to backyard introductions. Please, please understand that late pick-ups without prior notifications are not rebooked. I also do drop-ins to other folks’ homes and they are trusting me to be on time for those appointments. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

A typical day
I live within walking distance of 5 local parks, some quieter than others, depending on your needs. There is a local creek great for dips on hot days. I’ve got a nice arm for fetch and legs for running (former Softball outfielder). I also understand that soooo much of a dog’s information comes through the nose…. so we will explore all the smells we can.
