Please have full disclosure and honesty about your dog’s behaviors and habits. Does your dog have a history of marking inside? Please let me know as many details as possible about your dog’s temperament including the things they enjoy or hate. Are they allowed to have treats? Do they have food allergies? Are they allowed on the furniture? They are welcome to be on the furniture and bed in our home, but we don’t want to create any bad habits! 😉 Please bring a couple of their favorite toys, a blanket/bed, their food bowl, food, feeding instructions, and rules you want to be followed (not allowed on furniture, no treats, commands, etc). Sometimes an old shirt or something from home that smells like you can help a bit if they are anxious. Crate trained is preferred, but if they are trained or well behaved and can settle down at night without a crate, then we will consider it. All dogs must be vaccinated and on flea/tick medication.

I know that physical activity or stimulating a dogs mind can get energy out and is vital to keeping a dog happy and less anxious when away from their family. I am able to walk dogs at least 3 times a day (weather/heat permitting) if needed, or we can play in the backyard. However. I am always mindful of the different needs of dogs depending on their age and physical limitations.
