About: I have worked in the veterinary field for over 3 decades. I know how to read your pets body language and how to look for signs of illness or injury. I currently work at an urgent care veterinary practice. I work full-time but am currently off all day Thursday-Saturday. I am also available most mornings Sunday-Wednesday for visits that are relatively close to my home. I will not be caring for pets in my own home. I believe it would cause stress to my own pets and possibly to yours. I would follow any instructions given by you when doing drop in visits to your home. However, I will never take your pet out for a walk off-leash, even if that is something you routinely do.

About: Taken care of many pets including dogs, cats and birds! Been taking care of cute animals since I was 13 when I got my first puppy. Since then, I have also taken care of friends and family pets whenever I get lucky! I am currently a university student and have availability mostly during weekends and late afternoons! “I can't thank Nita enough, I didn't know what to expect, as Elliot has always been boarded at a kennel. But after his last experience there, we had to make a change, however he is extremely nervous and anxious by nature, and he’s an almost 90 lb pit bull so it makes it hard to find the right person to trust him with. Nita dealt with all of my crazy requests from washing his paws after going outside, to topping his meals with short Kraft cheese shreds, She did it all as she watched my house for us while we were gone. My house is exactly as I left it and I didn’t realize it until I got here that I wasn't as relieved as I thought I was with seeing her care for him from afar (never once complaining I was messaging her too much). But walking in, seeing him perfectly happy and content, like I just left for work and got home, with everything as we left it, gave me the biggest overwhelming sense of relief that I didn't realize I even needed as the conclusion. The fact that everything actually was okay and went well just gave me such a sense of gratitude. I know for a fact he wasn't stressed out at all. Elliot breaks out in baaaaaad rashes on his belly and thighs when he is stressed out, and he doesn't have a mark on him. I can't thank you enough Nita, I know I'm not the easiest to deal with and I have a lot of ask's but you did great. Thank you from all of us and we’ll let you know when the next trip is!”

I take my own dog out three-four times a day (before work, lunch, after work, then late night). I’ve been in this schedule for a bit now and have dog sat another dog so I am comfortable with any additions. While I don’t have a yard, my complex provides a small dog park that I take my dog to, and live very close to a larger dog park where it’s well kept and maintained. I take my dog there once a week to socialize and would love to take your dog too if they’re interested.

About: IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PET OWNERS: I do allow same day and weekend visits/walks. However, the rate is double for weekends, & an additional $10 for same day calls. I mostly enjoy going outdoors and playing with dogs, it help me with getting some exercise after sitting behind a computer all day. I am an online student so my schedule is flexible. If you want to arrange something same day, I’m here and even on holidays! I love meet and greets, please take the time to arrange one with me prior to your sit. I talk to my pet friends all the time, and I love cuddles. You can expect me to treat your pet like my best friend.

About: Growing up in a house full of animals gave me hands on experience with all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I’ve personally owned and cared for everything from a giant Great Dane to a high-energy Border Collie, so I know exactly how to manage different strength and exercise levels. I currently work part time, which gives me incredible flexibility throughout the week! Because my schedule is open most days, I can easily accommodate mid day walks, or specific feeding routines. Your pet will be my top priority, and I have plenty of time to give them the focused attention, exercise, and love they deserve while you are away. I can crate your pet if needed and make sure everything is clean. I don’t have any pets so your pet will be my sole priority!
