“Katherine is great with our dogs, shows up on time and spends the full 30 minutes requested with them to make sure they get all the jitters out of their system.”

About: I have had dogs ever since I was around 4 years old. I have had different breeds and sizes. I currently have a 6 year old fur baby who I love so much. I understand how much your pets can mean to you, so I will treat your baby like my own. I’m currently working part time so I have time to check in on your fur baby!! I make sure to make time for my baby to have a routine that works for both of us. I will do the same with your fur baby. I have a pretty anxious pup so I have learned many ways to make pets feel at ease, and of course make sure they are safe in their homes. I am always extra careful and will treat your baby like my own.
About: I have an uncanny way with animals. It's as if I can read their body language and provide whatever they need. Loving on babies is clinically proven to release stress and I truly believe it works. I'm currently working on starting a floral business and I need the flexibility to work when I can. This is very flexible and it fits what I need. I have a rescue dog with high anxiety and over 4 years she is now acting how dogs act. I have a rescue dog I found tied to a tree, she's deaf and just about blind. It only took me a month and she completely came out of her shell. She now follows me everywhere I go and wags her tail, constantly. I found a baby kitten that was about 5wks old screaming under my car. It took me 4 days for him to allow me to pick him up and bring him inside. It only took 3 days of me showering him with love and now he thinks he runs the house, even though he's the smallest out of everyone.

About: I’ve grown up with multiple pets in the household and have taken care of many close friends’ and neighbors pets! I love animals so much! I work a eight-hour shift M-F, so I’m able to spend all my time with pets both before and after work. Also depending on the location, I can always pay your pet a visit on my break. I always make time for play, walks, and care whenever I’m available. Understanding and learning your pets boundaries are key. All pets have certain personalities that dictate behavior and personal interest. I am a very flexible person and will take my time to make sure the pet is comfortable and trusting of me.
“Sabrina is always great with walking Aubergine and they walk really far together ! Very sweet friendship they have and Aubi is always excited to see her. Thank you!”

Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I care for my own cat every day, and I work part-time from 5–10 p.m. during the week. Outside of work, I have plenty of daytime availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pets. I love getting outside, enjoying the day, and spending it with furry friends! I love making every dog and cat feel comfy, safe, and happy! You’ll find me giving plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, kisses (if they’re okay with them!), playtime, and lots of love while keeping them on their usual routine.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love and dedication to each pet's well-being. I have special skills in training puppies, ensuring they develop good habits early on. Additionally, I have extensive experience in senior pet care, providing the extra attention and gentle handling older pets need. Your furry family members will be in safe, caring hands with me. Im currently working part time, so I would be able to use my free time to take care of your pets. I would also be able to do all day on weekends since those are my free days. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of space for them to play and relax. I follow a consistent routine for feeding, exercise, and training, tailored to each pet's needs. In my clients' homes, I maintain their established routines to provide a sense of familiarity and comfort for the pets. I make sure to always be in a pet friendly environment and never out of site if in the yard. I am also always with my phone if you miss your pet and want an extra picture!

“Nathalie was terrific to work with. She responded quickly to my initial request on short notice, and then worked with me when I had to reschedule my trip. She seemed to bond quickly with my little critters when she came to the introduction meeting, and they appear very happy in the dog-walk photos. :-)”

“Isaiah has been great to work with. Very good with dogs and you can tell he loves animals. Helping me out through an injury that prohibits me from walking and has been a huge help. I would highly recommend.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
