About: Hi! I'm Stacey, and my partner, TJ, and I share pet care responsibilities. We have two boys, and we share drop in responsibilities to balance time with them so that they sees us both equally. With a lifelong commitment to caring for both cats and dogs, I assure you that your pets are in experienced hands. Throughout my time with your furry companions, I will send multiple photos to keep your heart at ease, ensuring they receive ample playtime and love. While I have an affection for both cats and dogs, I consider myself a dedicated cat enthusiast, inspired by my own beloved pet, Jonesie. You might even catch me engaging in "meowversations" with your pets! 🐾❤️ Given that I have a husky and a cat, if you prefer, I can provide house-sitting services to keep your pets in their familiar environment. Although I don't offer overnight services, I make multiple visits throughout the day and evening, with our final check-in usually between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. Please share any quirks your pets may have, so I can be adequately prepared to support them. Additionally, inform me of their feeding/potty schedule and any current prescriptions to ensure continuity. Currently, I work in an office three days a week and from home two days a week, residing conveniently close to work. During my work-from-home days or in the morning/evenings, I am available for all the walking and cuddles your pet desires. My partner, Tj, works from home, ensuring there is someone in the home unless we need to run errands. Expect to see numerous photos capturing moments of cuddling, playing, and enjoyment between your pets and me. In my home, your pet will have the company of my friendly husky and cat. We have a large fenced backyard, providing ample space for daily exercise and playtime. Indoors we have three gated areas for feeding times so everyone can be more relaxed and to ensure no one shares. Also, these can be utilized anytime older or smaller pups need their own or a more relaxed space. Most of the time everyone just roams and sleeps anywhere in the house they like. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to shower your pets with love and provide peace of mind. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. My requirements are: all dogs must be well socialized, house trained, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, no aggressive dogs, no dogs in heat, and all dogs must be free of contagious diseases, fleas or ticks and parasites... no exceptions for the safety of other pets. Schedule: During my two days of working from home, I dedicate my time to the well-being of the pets. My off hours are divided between showering affection on these furry companions and engaging in exercise with them. Since I commenced my journey on Rover, I have consistently remained booked. This routine has seamlessly integrated into my daily life, and I derive immense joy from sharing love with new souls through caring for pets. 🐾 Safety, trust, and environment: I take special care to ensure a harmonious environment for both dogs and cats during mealtime by separating them, fostering a sense of safety and allowing them to focus on their individual needs. Whether I'm in a client's home or my own, I make every effort to adhere to the schedule you maintain. In my home, I have designated spaces such as a spare bedroom and a kitchen area with a baby gate, offering the animals the option for some private time if they need a break from socializing with other pets. I consider my home an extension of theirs, granting them access to furniture and all the snuggles they desire. While I do have a large kennel available, I only utilize it if both the pet and owner are comfortable with the arrangement, ensuring that the pet's well-being and comfort are top priorities. If your pet is accustomed to being in a kennel or has a preferred bed for sleeping, I kindly request that you bring those items along with a couple of comfort items during their stay. This ensures that your pet has familiar and comforting belongings, contributing to a more relaxed and enjoyable experience for them.
“Rocky was the perfect match for our butters! Since she’s our first dog walker she did an extra meet and greet with us which was greatly appreciated. She showed up on time every day and made butter’s day. As a dog owner herself, she was super comfortable with some loud barks at meet and greet and on walks. I can not say enough good things about her, we will be using her again!!”

“Sarah is sweeter than sweet and beyond patient! Apparently my dog isn’t cool with walking off with a stranger and she has been great helping me out and getting to know my dog. Fingers crossed my dog is coming around and we can use her services more in the future. Definitely recommend!”

I am very time-oriented and make sure I go above and beyond for anything I do! I have experience in senior care and child care as well! I currently work for the UFL in Arlington, Texas, and from now until December, most of my weekends should be free! Once the season begins, I will have to scale back My apartment will be clean, spacious, and free of any hazardous items that could harm! When traveling, I will also ensure to maintain a trusting and communicative experience! I will make sure anything that happens will be communicated!
“Macy is a fantastic walker for our two large Bernese Mountain Dogs. She is very informative about each walk, always on time and giving the best care to our boys. Very understandable for last minute changes and/or requests. Will be using Macy for a long term walker!”

“I gotta start with saying Casey is a life saver!!!! I had a last minute change in schedule and Casey was able to ease my mind. She is super attentive, always kept me updated and took lots of photos. My puppy loved seeing her come through the door and he attacked her with kisses everytime. She popped in to walk him on time everyday and even came in after the walk to check water/food levels! ❤️ 1000% recommend!!!! Will definitely be rebooking in the future.”

About: I used to take care of a golden retriever back in 2016 and would take him on frequent walks around the neighborhood! I’ve also taken care of many different sizes of dogs, including dachshunds, Pyrenees, and elderly dogs! I’ve taken care of many different kinds of cats as well and try to make them feel a little less lonely! I primarily work from home so I can come check in on the animals as early as 10 AM and have frequent visits during the day up until about 5 PM. I love following specific instructions by the pet owners themselves as they know their pets best! I will check in on them and do what needs to be done for their food, or cleaning litter, or just spending time with them. If I am to take them on a walk. I ask that the neighborhood be safe as I am just a girl, but I typically enjoy a little walk around anyways!
“Alexis is incredible at taking care of animals. She is reliable, consistent, always on time, and brings such positive energy. You can genuinely tell she loves what she does, and her passion for animals shines through in every interaction. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes great pride in providing the absolute best experience for both pets and their owners. She always prioritizes Kai’s individual needs and accommodates him on every walk to make sure he’s comfortable and happy. This past week, Kai was struggling and having a difficult time, and Alexis truly went above and beyond to make sure he had the best day possible. That level of care, compassion, and dedication means the world to us. We are grateful we found Alexis and will absolutely continue to use her. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!”

About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember and have always had a natural connection with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve learned to understand canine body language and recognize when a dog may need exercise, attention, space, comfort, or a change in routine. I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of dogs, from energetic puppies who need patience and consistency to senior dogs who require a gentler pace and extra care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I pay close attention to details, follow care instructions carefully, and provide updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. My schedule can vary from week to week, so I recommend reaching out before booking to confirm availability. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! 🐾 I’m available everyday! The sooner we can communicate about scheduling the better, my work schedule is pretty much the same every week. I don’t work long hours and my lady works from home as well. I have a 7yr old dog as well so there will be some who speaks the same language as them lol! There’s plenty of dog parks in the area that are walking distance. If entering your home, please provide instructions so that your pet feels safe

“Angie was fantastic. We really appreciated her dedication and effort with our pups. We are typically anxious when we have to go away and leave our dogs, but we were not this time. This was our first time using rover. We read the great reviews which helped us make our choice of choosing Angie. She checked with with us often with detailed reports and pictures which helped us feel comfortable and at ease, as well as laugh a little at the pictures of our dogs doing funny things. She followed instructions well and did everything we asked plus more (took out trash & brought in our package). I would highly recommend Angie.”
“Wow, wow wow! We have used Hillary for about two weeks now and have been blown away. Hillary goes above and beyond when taking care of our (very energiec pup) and Luna always has a blast! I also love her detailed Report Cards and pictures. So happy we found Hillary!”

I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Sharon, as well as her husband Micheal provided a level of comfort before services even began. Professionalism is very important, but more than that, I felt that love and care that I believe one needs to do the job. I will definitely request their services again without hesitation! Thx so much!!! Carla B.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
