“Very thankful to find such a trustworthy sitter on short notice during the holidays. I would definitely recommend Stacey as the person to watch your furry friend.”

“Second time boarding with Katia and Jake had a blast!!!! We definitely will book again!!! We received a lot of photos and videos with daily updates and Jake seemed to always have a lot of fun with her doggos and kids. If you want to leave your dog with someone that for sure will treat him as part of the family, do it with Katia, she’s wonderful!!”

“Dane and Celeste were amazing with our timid dog! They offered us a meet and greet a couple days before we boarded our dog which helped get our dog acquainted. We also got so many photo and video updates of our dog having the best time and they made her feel so comfortable away from home. They also made sure to walk her frequently which was a huge bonus! I would definitely recommend booking with Dane and Celeste.”

“Abigail was an absolute lifesaver. I had to organise a dogsitter extremely last-minute. I popped on Rover and reached out to Abigail, and she completely saved the day. She sent me loads of pictures throughout and made me feel at ease knowing little Kaiser was well-loved and in safe hands. I couldn’t recommend her enough. She’s my go-to!”

“Lissi was amazing with our 17 year old Ivan! Even though he is an anxious dog, He was so calm and happy when I picked him from being with Lissi all day. Thank you Lissi for taking such good care of Ivan!”

“Delana was the best!! Very good with our dog, Gemi. Plenty of tender loving care. You could tell Gemi was happy from the pictures Delana shared. Our dog was a member of their family. We will definitely request her again and hope she is available.”

“We adore Libby and Chad. This is the second time they taken care of our fur baby, Louie, and we can’t say enough good things. They treat Louie like he’s their own, send daily updates with pictures, and laugh at Louie’s obsession with his football. Not only do we get a vacation, so does Louie. :-)”

“Brittani, from the first visit with Cash, You showed a warmth towards making Cash feel welcomed n loved and not feel alone. This second visit was no different. Your an exceptional sitter and highly recommend Your service. Cash was happy under your care. Thank you.”

“Wonderful care for my dog over the Christmas holiday! It’s hard to think of leaving your pet over a holiday, but it Trinity was like part of the family at Jessica’s. I cooks tell she has a great time.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been more than a hobby—it’s a passion. From dogs and cats to birds, rabbits, and hamsters, I’ve spent years learning how to understand, respect, and care for animals of all personalities and needs. For over 20 years, I’ve worked professionally in animal training, specializing in behavior, communication, and biomechanics. My career has taught me how to read body language, build trust, encourage positive behavior, and handle situations calmly and confidently. I believe every animal deserves to be understood as an individual, and I always tailor my approach to their unique personality. My passion for animals also led me to study veterinary medicine. Although I ultimately chose a different career path because I realized I wasn’t emotionally prepared to witness animals suffering every day, the education gave me a strong foundation in animal health, welfare, and behavior that I carry with me in every interaction. Today, I work in the airline industry and travel regularly, so I understand firsthand how important it is to know your pets are safe while you’re away. I also know how expensive pet care can be, which is why I aim to provide reliable, high-quality care at a fair price. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to pet care. For years, I’ve looked after friends’ and family’s pets during holidays, work trips, and emergencies—whether that meant overnight stays, walks, drop-in visits, feeding, administering basic care, or simply keeping them company. My approach is built on structure, kindness, and fun. I respect each pet’s natural instincts and personality while maintaining positive boundaries and routines. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, senior, or simply needs a little extra patience, I’ll adapt my care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Safety is always my highest priority. I’m attentive during walks and outdoor adventures, keeping an eye on environmental hazards such as the high snake activity in our area, unfamiliar animals, and anything else that could put your pet at risk. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved companion in someone else’s care. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, respect, affection, and genuine attention to their wellbeing. My goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in caring hands. When I’m on the ground, I work a regular 9-to-5 schedule, which allows me to provide pet care before and after work, as well as on evenings and weekends. I’m also happy to discuss special arrangements when needed and will always be upfront about my availability. I understand that every pet has different needs and routines. When caring for friends’ pets, I always follow the owner’s preferences, whether that means short walks, longer adventures, scheduled feeding times, play sessions, or simply keeping them company and safe. My goal is to maintain as much consistency as possible so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I live in an apartment with a safe balcony, which is why I stated that I only accept small to medium-sized pets at my place. Pets staying with me are welcome to relax and be themselves in a calm, loving environment. They can socialize with my two friendly and well-behaved dogs, or I can keep them separated if that better suits their personality, routine, or your preferences. I’m happy to accommodate crate training if your pet uses a crate, and I carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding routines, feeding, exercise, or supervision. Pets may stay comfortably at home while I’m at work, provided they are house-trained and comfortable being left alone for reasonable periods. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, structured environment where pets feel secure, respected, and well cared for.
“Misty and Michael did an amazing job watching over my boy Charlie. Unfortunately a tragedy did happen during this sit and I'm so grateful that misty kept me informed and even took him to his vet. Thank you both again my boy was in good hands.”
“Sara is a trustworthy, compassionate, experienced, and reliable person. My dog, Jack stay with her for almost 4 weeks, she and her husband took excellent care of Jack, and I have peace of mind to travel. Sara updates me daily which is always comforting, I don’t know what would I do without her. HIGHLY recommend.”

“Molly and Ellie are my sweet senior ‘dirls’. They spent spring break week with Diana G in March. I was thankful to receive pictures of them blending in with the ‘family surroundings’. Diana G, is ‘in tune’ with the pets in her care. Her attention and genuine love for pets is why she will be my choice for future pet care.”

“You can tell Mary Katherine truly loves animals - she is so loving with all of her interactions. We have been so happy with all of our experiences with her and are grateful to have found her!”

“Tia was amazing and very communicative when we boarded Leo. It was the perfect place for a first time boarder. The couple was super warm and very welcoming. I will always board Leo with Tia . Leo was very much at home. Tia sent me regular updates, pictures and videos. I would highly recommend Tia!!!!! Thank you Tia and hubby for such a wonderful first time experience! Leo has a second home!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Euless
I cannot say enough about how attentive Breawna was with our three dogs. She communicated with us in a timely manner and was very polite. We could tell from the pictures she sent us that our dogs were really enjoying themselves and they were in good hands. Three dogs is a handful however she took the challenge on with confidence and grace!! She did amazing and we will definitely be booking with her again soon!!

Angela was so great with my dog. She responded very quickly to the initial request and was very flexible with pick up and drop off. She sent lots of pics and updates throughout my dogs stay. And went above and beyond helping me with his things upon pick up and drop off as I had my kids with me. Very kind sitter and highly recommend!! Will use again!

Fantastic with my cats- checked in twice and provided pictures. I was so lucky and grateful she was willing to let me book last minute 24 hours in advance. This was my first time boarding my cats anywhere, as I’ve always had a house sitters. However, we were getting some construction done on the house so I needed to find someone to take them for the day. She allowed me to drop off early and pick up late. My cats have always been extremely friendly and well-behaved however, since this was their first time boarding in someone’s house, they were predictively, nervous and confused. She handled their nervousness really well and quickly socialized them with herself. When I picked them up, they were a little overstimulated with one another, which is only natural. She was very patient and helped me get each of them to the car. Very reliable, communicative and knows how to handle cats well. Very grateful we have found someone for future boarding!

Katelyn was a life saving this past month as I was trying a lot for work last minute and she was always willing to watch my Remi. I had no doubt that Remi was safe and happy. Every photo he was comfy or cuddled up with one of her children. Even seemed like he didn’t want to leave when I picked him up. High recommend!

This was our first time leaving our 8 month old English bulldog Hope and we immediately felt comfortable with Valentina and her husband. We received pictures several times a day and Hope was very well cared for! Couldn’t ask for more. On top of it our sweet Hope went into heat while under her care which adds another layer of work for Valentina and she informed us right away and took care of Hope and her extra “cleanup” with compassion and great care. I can’t imagine anyone taking better care of your sweet pup and words fall short of how much I trust her to care for our fur baby! We will use her again!

Brittney was awesome!!. So welcoming and my doggie loved her. If anyone needs a sitter for their furry child, I highly recommend Brittney. I want say thank you again for looking out for her, while I was away. You made it super easy and I didn't have to worry about my pup while on my trip. See you soon Brittney.

Kiana was so great with Cooper! He had to be rested and take medications while he was with her and from the moment I met her, I knew she would take care of him like one of her own pups! She had plenty of room inside and a fenced backyard to let him out. She took notes on instructions and was very detailed. She sent daily pictures to me while we were away and it gave us peace of mind that he was in good hands. Highly recommend Kiana!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
