“Rocksy got along great with Susanne and her furry friends. We had to schedule last minute with a late evening drop off and pickup and Susanne was very accommodating. Great socialization and exercise, and responsive communication!”

“Sapana took great care of our boy! It was our first time using Rover so we are extremely grateful to have found someone we can trust to take care of our pup. She constantly sent videos & updates of him even without us asking (: her other dogs are super friendly and got along well with Blue. She has a big back yard where the dogs can run around and play together. We will definitely be rebooking again whenever we need someone to watch our boy (:”

“Sarah and her family were the best. This was my first time using the rover app. I was referred by a friend and I was definitely very nervous in the beginning. We had to book the reservation last minute but the process was extremely smooth. We have never had to ask anyone other than family to look after cookie while we travel. Needless to say even with a few mishaps with cookie getting adjusted Sarah and her family handled cookie with absolute love and care. I was updated with pictures and that made my family and I feel even more at ease. I will definitely be using Sarah again as long and her and her family allows cookie to be a guest again. Thanks again we greatly appreciate the help. I would highly recommend Sarah.”
“Monica is the best. Sent tons of pictures and updates, and she was incredibly accommodating and flexible when my travel schedule got screwed up due to weather. Highly recommend!”

About: Dog lover offering dependable, loving care for your furry family members. Whether it's walks, playtime, or cuddles, I'll make sure your pup feels right at home while you're away. I currently work full time, but I have the flexibility to go and take care of the pets in my care whenever they need it. I have a large fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood right next to a park for long walks. I also have a decent sized living room for lounging and playing.

About: I have had multiple dogs and cats my entire life. I can easily handle multiple dogs with different personalities. I am also experienced in finding creative ways to keep dogs happy and recognize signs of annoyance or that a dog wants to be alone. I love going for walks and taking dogs with me. I also encourage play and almost always have some toys or treats in my car. I do allow dogs on our furniture and love to cuddle. I have 2 dogs of my own who are friendly and love to play chase and wrestle. I have a large fenced in backyard and a doggy door so dogs have access inside and out all day weather permitting. I’m a stay at home mom so I spend most of the day at home. Dogs will have free range of inside and outside while I’m home. I do have multiple gates and doors in our home so dogs can have separate spaces when needed. I do kennel one of our dogs when we leave the house and would put any other dogs in a separate room just to ensure safety of all the animals. I have a large fenced in backyard and a doggy door. My dogs are allowed free access inside and out. They also are allowed on furniture. I do lock up my dogs when we leave the house. I have a permanent baby gate and sliding door so I can keep dogs in the living room if they need to be separated.
“Yuliya and Yaroslav were so good with my Zoro! They kept me updated the whole week and sent me tons of pictures! I will definitely be boarding with them again!”

“Thanks Again...This is our second time having Aimee care for Lilly. I appreciated Aimee's heart to make Lilly feel safe and welcome. She even reached out to find out if Lilly sleeps on the bed or on the floor in her bed. 😊We will definitely see Aimee and Remie (her pet) again.!!!”

“Katie and family took excellent care of George for 5 nights! It was our first time leaving him with a new person and Katie made me feel at ease sending daily pictures and updates. She truly has a love and passion for ALL dogs. George made friends with other pups in her care and came back happy and exhausted. We have found the best sitter for our silly pup.”

“5 stars all around! Excellent care provided for my girl. Wonderful communication with lots of updates and pictures. Will gladly be a returning customer, Jennifer and her family made sure my dog felt right at home.”
“You both did a fantastic job taking care of Leo! I would highly recommend anyone that I know and don’t even know for other people to use you both as a great dog sitter!”

“Susan took very good care of my cat. She kept me informed throughout the week. My cat clearly enjoyed her "vacation". I will absolutely use Susan in the future. I highly recommend her. She does have her own dog. The dog is very well behaved and not at all aggressive. There were no interaction problems for my cat.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Richland Hills
Abigail & her family were amazing to work with! Our Willlow girl is a laid back lady, and her staycation with them was a laid back experience! They limit the number of dogs in their home at once which we really appreciate. Their home is very welcoming, clean, and spacious! We were efficient with handoff and pick up. I’m so grateful for their time and energy spent caring for Willow while we were away! 💙

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Abigail! Every year our family takes a week-long beach vacation to 30A, and this was the first time we boarded Rocket in someone’s home instead of a traditional kennel. Rocket is a very clingy little guy. He is happiest when he’s right beside us, looking for an opportunity to jump in a lap or curl up on the couch for a snuggle. Needless to say, we were a little nervous about how he’d do. We shouldn’t have worried. Abigail and her three sweet daughters treated Rocket like he was part of the family. He got plenty of playtime, daily walks, and, most importantly, lots of couch snuggles and attention. It was obvious from the photos that he felt completely at home. Abigail was also outstanding with communication. Throughout the week she kept us updated through the Rover app with messages and photos. I think she sent more than 65 pictures while we were away! Seeing Rocket happy and relaxed made it so much easier for us to enjoy our vacation. If you’re looking for someone who will genuinely love and care for your dog as if it were her own, I can’t recommend Abigail highly enough. She is wonderful, and we will absolutely book with her again.

Alexis, provided a very warm and welcoming home for us to feel comfortable leaving Daisy 🌼 in her care for a few days. She was very knowledgeable of dog behavior and how to positively introduce Daisy to her own dogs, her family and her inside and outside environment. She took time to send us updates after we left and throughout Daisy’s stay with photos of Daisy playing and relaxing around her home away from home. We enjoyed knowing Daisy was safe and comfortable while we participated in the weekend of a family wedding and activities. Thank you Alexis, we’d rebook in a heartbeat.

My pup loved loved loved staying with Alexis and her family. She came home calm and relaxed because of so much play time. I got lots of updates with pictures and videos. I hesitate to rave too much about them so they won't be booked with other people when I need them. Such a wonderful pet sitter!

I had to leave the country for two weeks and felt completely at ease leaving my dogs with Shabeena. My active pup had the best time playing with her dog, while my older lady got all the pampering and cuddles she loves. They were absolutely spoiled with treats, love, and attention, and I received the cutest photo updates that made being away so much easier. I couldn’t have asked for better care and would 100% trust Shabeena with my dogs again!

We had a great experience with Kelly watching our three dogs! She sent pictures, kept us updated, and treated them like family. You can tell that she is someone who genuinely loves animals. Leaving our pups with Kelly gave us so much peace of mind. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
