“Yvonne took great care of my dog. I was a little worried because my dog often does not get along with other dogs, but she did great with Yvonne's dogs and another dog also staying there (my daughter's dog). Highly recommend!”

“Katrina is amazing! She took care of my dog like her own. He came home with a bandana and it was the cutest thing. Katrina kept me informed everyday of my dog’s activities. It was very helpful especially that we were out of town. Will definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future!”

“Renee and her family took great care of my little old lady while I was gone for the weekend. She was very communicative, nice and was able to accommodate on short notice.”
“We contacted Megan 2 days before our week long trip and she gladly accepted to meet and greet the same day and then took care of Pepper. Megan was very clear in what we need to bring when we drop our pet”

“Arellys was fantastic, she was so accommodating and very kind. It was my first time using rover and leaving my puppy Nikko but I felt safe leaving him with her. We will definitely be going back to Arellys !”

“Ana has an exceptional work ethic. Some highlights include, communication, cleanliness, care for the pet, safety, time management, recording of the experience, and her involvement in healthy, engaging activities. An exceptional human being caring for our little buddy is just about as good as it gets for this husband/wife team, who are exacting customers. We are grateful for Ana's expertise; she is a pleasure to not only work with but to know. Ed and Lesia Fisher”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have owned dogs of all sizes and personalities—from Golden Retrievers and Terriers to Rottweilers. My home is currently shared with my two spoiled pups: a 4-year-old French Bulldog and a 2½-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, who are truly part of the family. Because I work from home full-time, your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to enjoy free roam of my home (with the exception of the couch, which is my one pet hair-free zone!). My dogs sleep in bed with me, and if that’s what your pup is used to, they’re welcome to join us. If your dog is more comfortable in a crate, I have extra crates available, so there’s no need to bring your own. I also have a securely fenced yard, allowing for frequent outdoor breaks, playtime, and exercise whenever needed. As an empty nester with an adult son serving in the military, my home is peaceful, quiet, and centered around providing a loving environment for the dogs in my care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll care for your dog as if they were one of my own. I work full-time from home so your furbaby will not be alone and will not be crated unless that is what you prefer. Crating may be necessary if I need to leave, but I’m not away for more than a couple hours hours during the week, possibly up to 4 hours on a weekend. I always make sure I’m not away too long. My furbabies are rarely crated. I have a 1-story home with a fenced in backyard, so there is plenty of space. If I have to leave, I also have cameras to check on the pups. They will never be left outside as my babies are indoor dogs.
“Julie was amazing and my three pups couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. I was a bit hesitant at first because I do have three very excitable dogs and they can sometimes even come off as annoying. Julie had no issue with them and welcomed them like they were her own! She sent constant pictures and updates, so even while we were away we felt at ease. We highly recommend her services and plan on rebooking with her. 💕”

“Jonathan is awesome! We were so happy that Jacks got to stay with him for 10 days. Jonathan took exceptional care of Jacks. He sent pics every day. Best of all were the videos showing Jacks running around and playing while Jonathan spoke about how he was doing. Jacks had a great time and is looking forward to his next stay.”

“I am forever thankful grateful for Carmen and her husband’s hospitality with my dog. They treated her as a family and her dog became my dog’s bestie. Araselly was able to take in our baby while we traveled for a funeral. She was so helpful in a time crunch and made us feel at ease during a difficult time. They loved on our puppy extra for us and sent photos and videos each day. We’re so grateful! Araselly is kind, with a great yard and sunbathing spots.

Mary and Bob have been absolutely incredible! This is my first time with both doggy daycare and boarding for my rescue pup Rocky, And they have made the experience so wonderful. Mary sent me updates and photos throughout the day and it made me feel completely at ease. They loved on Rocky and gave him all the snuggles, attention and treats that he needed to feel comfortable, and Rocky Loves going over there to see them! They’ve become his home away from home. ❤️

The best dog-sitting service! They were incredibly attentive and friendly, and we loved receiving daily updates while we were away. They took such great care of our dog and even surprised us with a sweet gift when we picked them up! Such a thoughtful touch. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!

Katrina was amazing! She went above and beyond while taking care of Milo. She was very attentive, reliable, and made sure Milo was happy and well cared for the entire time. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Katrina and will definitely book with her again!

JoEllen was absolutely wonderful with Nixon during his 4-day stay. She was kind, accommodating, responsive, and clearly very capable. She made me feel comfortable from the start and consistently sent daily pictures and updates, which I truly appreciated. It genuinely seemed like Nixon had a great time with Nelson and Cooper, and I could tell JoEllen treated him like one of her own. That level of care means a lot when leaving your pup with someone else. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
