About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience raising 4 dogs, 2 cats, and rescuing local strays. Reliable, attentive care tailored to your pet's needs I work entirely on a flexible freelance schedule, allowing me to easily fit drop-in visits into my morning, afternoon, or evening routine. Because my calendar is open, I can accommodate last-minute requests, holiday visits, or consistent daily check-ins to make sure your babies are never left waiting. I provide highly attentive care strictly inside the client's home to keep both dogs and cats safe and comfortable in their own familiar territory. For dog walks and visits, I focus on safe leashing, fun exercise around the neighborhood, and refreshing water. For cat drop-ins, I carefully follow exact feeding guidelines and thoroughly scoop litter boxes. I always spend quality time playing with your pets or giving them gentle attention based on their unique personalities. Before leaving, I double-check that your home is completely secure and send a detailed update with fun photos so you have complete peace of mind.
“Ann was absolutely wonderful! She provided such thoughtful updates with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she truly cares and goes the extra mile. We’re so grateful and would happily book with her again!”

“Brittany was absolutely wonderful with our fur babies! Extremely responsive and I could tell how well taken care of and loved on our babies were by their smiles in all of the pics she shared during our trip as well as her notes and commentary. We really appreciated the little details and notes she shared during each visit. Will definitely be using again.”

“I can always count on Destiny to check in on my dogs and take good care of them. She always communicates with me and keeps me posted on how they’re doing. I’ve booked her many times and will continue doing so!”

“Had a wonderful experience with Sophia! She graciously accepted to check in on our 3 cats on short notice and did so great! She was reliable, followed our instructions and gave us peace of mind while away from our babies. Would definitely book again in the future.”

About: I plan to treat any animal I watch as my own. I’ve had both dogs and cats throughout my childhood and still to today. I’ve mainly had medium to large dogs (65lbs-110lbs) and have also done my own training for my current dog. I’ve also worked with senior dogs who have required diapers, pee pads, and assistance moving. While I do not currently have a cat, I have interacted and watched/cared for multiple friends and family’s cats. I’m excited to interact with any animal I have the privilege of watching! I currently participate in contract work in another state so when I am off contract I have a large amount of free time (including weekdays and weekends). I would like to dedicate that time to helping others care for their animals. I currently own a large dog so I am unavailable to care for client’s pets in my own home. In a client’s home I intend to maintain any regular routines for the animal’s comfort. I will also keep the client informed of their animal’s status to ease any concerns while they are away.

“Emily was great and left lots of detailed notes! I was in town for a wedding and it took a lot of stress off of me knowing my dogs were being taken care of well.”

About: I've taken care of my own two dogs since I was 8 years old. I have experience in basic training for young pets as well as senior care for older pets. I am available for all your pet needs with my open schedule! I will be respectful to your home and your pet by following your pet's routine, keep their space clean, and provide regular updates for your peace of mind.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years and have experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve cared for senior dogs who needed medications, softened food, extra patience, and gentle handling to keep them comfortable. I understand how important routines are, so I’m happy to follow your dog’s feeding schedule, walking routine, medication instructions, and any special care they need. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a calm day with lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands. I work full-time as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Baylor Surgicare and am also a nursing student, so I understand the importance of responsibility, time management, and sticking to a routine. I’m off every Thursday and have the most availability on weekends since I don’t work then. Caring for pets fits well into my schedule, and I enjoy spending my free time walking, playing with, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of love, care, and updates while you’re away. When caring for your dog in your home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll carefully follow your feeding schedule, walking routine, medication instructions, and any special requests to ensure your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I have experience caring for senior dogs that require medications and softened food, so I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would my own and provide regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have a Boston Terrier and 3 cats who are the loves of my life. I have experience with cat medications - I have a cat with congenital heart disease, and have to give him medications three times a day. I also foster kittens in my spare time and volunteer at the Humane Society of Fort Worth. I offer feeding, fresh water, litter maintenance, medication assistance (if needed), and personalized attention based on your cat’s temperament and needs. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in safe, caring hands. I consider animals family, so taking care of them properly how their family ask is very important in my eyes. So taking care of them will be followed directly as stated. I exclusively use positive reinforcement—like treats, affection, and playtime—when caring for your pets, ensuring they are always safe and happy.
“Sam goes above and beyond for our fur babies! She is so patient with our little senior dogs and truly treats them with such genuine care!! We love Sam!! 10/10!”

About: My children, husband and I have always been “animal” people and enjoy getting the opportunity to love on your pets! I know I always enjoy my trips away from home knowing my pets are well taken care of and loved on by someone we trust, so we’d like to do the same for another family and their pet babies! I work full-time from home with a flexible schedule; plenty of time to love and care for your babies. My children are 14 and 12, and have grown up around all sorts of pets. We have a privacy fenced in backyard that the dogs have free range in when let out. We do have a shade set up out there but we do not let any animals stay outside for too long if the heat is prohibitive. We have 2 playful pups that we adopted from a rescue and our newest baby we adopted as a puppy from a local family here in Texas. We love to welcome in new friends to play! We have 2 children that enjoy interacting with our dog as well as others. They are 14 and 12 and know how to be around dogs and like to play fetch and throw toys out for the dogs to play with. I’d encourage you to also read through my “details” section towards the ends for further info. Hope you’re having an amazing day and God bless you!

About: As a lifelong animal lover and experience caring for pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I provide dependable, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, medication, or keeping routines consistent, I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I provide doggy daycare, boarding at my home, check ins at your home and I’m available on weekends and after hours during the week for check ins. I’m working full time but open most weekends for boarding in my home evenings would be available to stop by to walk fur babies as needed. I have a fenced in yard and two loving frenchie boys who love new friends, dog gates for restricted access into rooms where they cannot be monitored
About: I’ve owned and cared for animals since I was a child. I’ve had cats, dogs, a rabbit, turtle, and even ducks! Recently, I’ve done drop-in visits for my mom’s elderly dogs. I’d swing by and leash them to take them outside for a 5-10 minute walk and then administer medications and feed them dinner before leaving them situated the way my mom preferred. Taking good care of our animals is something I take pride in including feeding them, administering medicines, playing and loving on them, as well as letting them out to the bathroom or cleaning litter boxes. Pets can be messy but that’s not something I’m afraid of! I am currently homeschooling my three kids. So, my schedule is pretty flexible to stop by throughout the day. I can do morning, early afternoon and most evenings if needed. I don’t work a full time job so I have plenty of availability. I’d like to set up an initial meeting with the client so the animals can get to know me, as well as show me their routine. I will enter the home, being careful to close the door behind me and let the dog out to potty in the back, play for a 5-10 minutes, and let them back in the house. I can also take the dog for a walk if that’s preferred. Before leaving, I can check their water situation (feed if requested) and situate them to their owners preference. Upon leaving, I will ensure that all doors are locked behind me.

About: Hi! I actually am currently a vet tech and know LOTS about dogs and the care they need! Plus animals have always been my passion and i hope to meet some of your fur babies! I mainly work on weekends on Saturday and Sunday, otherwise my schedule is quite open. Somedays i work in the week but its usually later in the day and i have plenty of time of other things! I have 6 animals that are well taken care of and loved so so much! I'm aware of what to look out for health wise and how to take care of animals properly and lovingly. I take daily walks so I figured that this would be the best option for me to meet new pets! I can really do any service that you require. I'm trained in multiple things when it comes to animal care! <3
About: Hey there! Call me Katie. Amateur Animal Whisperer. I LOVE cats and dogs alike. I'm so thankful for your interest and trust in me! I am a lover of nature and all life it encompasses. I have professional experience with animals, children, and house sitting. I do well with animals of all breeds, species, ages and needs. I never meet an animal I don't love. All my life, I have had a gift for bringing peace to otherwise 'unfriendly' or 'unwelcoming' animals. It is not uncommon for me to be cuddling with a friend's dog or cat... Later to find their astonishment at their animal allowing me (or anyone) to do so! I am comfortable and do very well with animals with special needs. I am only 5'2 but I have a passion for Great Danes! And birds! And cats! I feel I am very attentive, intuitive, and loving with people and animals alike. I am looking forward to getting to know your furry family members! Thank you for reading! I am self employed, with a flexible schedule so I can accommodate your pets’ specific needs. I love building relationships and sense of trust with your babies: making them feel safe and loved during drop ins, walks and play time. Life is busy for you! When you’re away, my goal is to bring you and your animal babies peace of mind. I like to adapt to your babies natural routine as closely as possible.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saginaw
Kendall is always great with my girl! Unfortunately Leia was not the friendliest with her on the last few visits as she was dealing with some anxiety while I was out of town. But Kendall is always amazing with her and gives her the best walks and spends quality time with her. She does her best to put her at ease!! She knows animals very well! We will continue to use Kendall for future visits 🤗

Anastasia is by far the best dog sitter I have ever came across. She truly cares for Oreo and Bailey. She treated my fur babies like it were her fur babies. She kept communication with me, ensured that I was in loop with my dogs. I’m truly happy with the service that she provided and I will 100% utilize her in the future. Thank you for everything

Meagan is seriously one of the best rover sitters in this area! She has made my shy girl Estrella open up and teach her new things like strollers. I was gone for two weeks and Meagan went above and beyond to make sure my girls were not bored at home during her stops. Meagan also gives very detailed rover reports and is always on time! I can trust her enough to not lock any doors in my house when I am gone.

Iremar is an amazing dog sitter to Oreo and Bailey. She truly treated them with so much respect, love, and as if they were her own. She constantly keeps in communication with photos and text messages one thing I truly appreciate it sincerely. If you are looking for a reliable dog sitter I highly recommend Iremar to be you pick. I can’t wait to book her services again.

This is the third time Amye has done drop in visits for us and just as expected, everything went perfectly!! We really appreciate her giving us the peace of mind that our babies are well taken care of while we are out of town. Her communication is top-notch!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
