We have a privacy fenced in backyard that the dogs have free range in when let out. We do have a shade set up out there but we do not let any animals stay outside for too long if the heat is prohibitive. We have 2 playful pups that we adopted from a rescue and our newest baby we adopted as a puppy from a local family here in Texas. We love to welcome in new friends to play! We have 2 children that enjoy interacting with our dog as well as others. They are 14 and 12 and know how to be around dogs and like to play fetch and throw toys out for the dogs to play with. I’d encourage you to also read through my “details” section towards the ends for further info. Hope you’re having an amazing day and God bless you!

Information Amye M. would like to know about your pet
Although we never require proof of vaccination, we do want you to be aware there is always the risk of any dogs contracting kennel cough when a group of pups get together- it only takes one to spread the love. Although this usually isn’t a serious concern and most dogs will get over it on their own pretty quickly, it is something that the bordetella vaccine can usually at least minimize symptoms. I do not recommend bringing any bones or toys for your baby, unless you bring enough to share with all the puppy friends. Giving one dog a bone/chew and not the others tends to end in some very grumpy dogs. The toys are fun for them at home, but they will likely get torn, lost, or fought over in a group environment. We have PLENTY of bones, antlers, chew toys, and regular toys around for all the dogs to share. We DO NOT allow rawhide for our dogs, so if you bring some chews to share, please be sure they’re rawhide free. I do take pup friends from multiple families at a time and this is very common around busy holiday times. We’ve had many friends come to stay at the same time and it’s always been a fun time for them all!
A typical day
Sometimes we take the dogs for walks down our street but have been known to take them out to the lake and the dog park with owners permission. But our backyard is always a favorite place to run and play! We like to have supervised free play and understand that meeting new friends can sometimes be stressful. I watch closely for any signs of anxiety and will step in and separate if I see the need to calm nerves.

Pet care experience
My children, husband and I have always been “animal” people and enjoy getting the opportunity to love on your pets! I know I always enjoy my trips away from home knowing my pets are well taken care of and loved on by someone we trust, so we’d like to do the same for another family and their pet babies!

Reviews

This is the third time Amye has done drop in visits for us and just as expected, everything went perfectly!! We really appreciate her giving us the peace of mind that our babies are well taken care of while we are out of town. Her communication is top-notch!!

I literally will never take my dog anywhere else as long as they’re available! HANDS DOWN THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! 🤩 I’m pretty sure my dog is sad to be coming home that’s how amazing they were! So so communicative and you can tell how they love them like their own! ❤️ BOOK WITH AMYE!

Amye goes above and beyond. This is the 2nd time we’ve booked her and we will continue to do so any time we need a pet sitter. She checked on our cats for us even though we didn’t book for them (automatic feeders) and even noticed one was missing. She was able to find her locked in a bedroom thanks to our other cat who opened the door. If she hadn’t noticed, our cat would have gone 2 and a half days without food, water or a litter box. I’m so thankful for her and her willingness to make sure everyone was safe and accounted for.

Amye’s communications throughout the entirety of the booking were very detailed and appreciated. She was constantly on time for each drop in and medicated our dog appropriately. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!
