“Had a wonderful experience with Sophia! She graciously accepted to check in on our 3 cats on short notice and did so great! She was reliable, followed our instructions and gave us peace of mind while away from our babies. Would definitely book again in the future.”

“Makae was a lifesaver when she was able to take care of my dog last minute. I was nervous because I hadn't used Rover before but she made me feel at ease by sending daily texts and photos of my happy pup. She's such a calm and positive presence and I will definitely trust her to take care of Maya again!”

“Emma did an awesome job and is so dependable. I will use her again. She is so attentive and is very detailed oriented. I totally trust with my kitty and my home. ?”

“If there was an option for 10 stars, I’d do it!! Ana was a fantastic support to us. From the first inquiry, she was incredibly responsive and communicative. We did a meet and greet so that Ana and our pup, Lady, could get to know each other and they bonded immediately. Ana had two days of drop ins and every visit came with a thorough report and a fabulous array of photos. Our dog was SO well taken care of, played with, and loved on. Lady even learned a few new tricks! I can’t say enough good things about Ana, we just feel so fortunate to find such a trusted, kind, communicative, and thoughtful person to take care of our pup. Thank you, Ana!! Lady is so excited to see you again soon.”

“Alexis was amazing! She was so sweet and patient with our boys and made sure they were comfortable and cared for. She played with them inside and outside and spoiled them with treats. They were sad when she left. Can’t wait for her to visit them again!”

“Claire is an amazing sitter! She genuinely cares about our doggies and their well-being, not only physical like making sure they have enough food, water, etc. but also emotional, making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved while we're gone. She goes above and beyond the instructions we leave! I don't worry even a bit because I know my elderly Chihuahua, anxious Pitbull, and feisty tortoise are all in great hands.”

About: Hello all! I’m Jessica, 31 and I am excited to meet you and your pets! I joined Rover back in 2019, I have been so overwhelmed with joy being able to bond with clients I’ve had and I’m always looking to add to my amazing circle! I’ve traveled and have done rover in many states and it’s been too fun to stop! Being a pup owner myself, my first baby, Blu (Booboos) she was a laid back couch loving pit-bull mix who is now 11 years old, my old lady as I called her. I have had a small lifestyle change the past year as I had a child of my own, but being a stay at home mother I enjoyed the quality time I had with my pup and the importance of how it had been hard on her in those early stages with my hands tied to a newborn . Sadly, she has recently passed over the rainbow bridge back in March of this year (2026) and there’s been a hole in my heart. Luckily, I had been so privileged to give my pup the most attention, whether it had been her being at home, playing in the back yard, running errands with me , or a simple walk around the block; thinking of her is what made me interested in giving other fur babies the fun time, attention and care they need (it doubles as a little out of home therapy for me!) I have prior experience in dog care working for an animal hospital 3 years in addition to caring for my own, so quality care is primary and I would love to give that extra love and quality time to your future babies! Making time that works well for you and your pup is a priority to me! Let’s chat on how we can make it happen! :) I am open to care routine of your choice! What you prefer and like to keep same routine I am with it! If you’d like to switch it up I’m all for it! No matter what I am attentive to send you updates every step of the way ! I am currently a stay at home mom, I have the flexibility to work with an owners requests to ensure they get the satisfaction of leaving their fur babies in my care. Going over the best plan of care with you about your fur baby is priority! I’ve had some of my clients print out itineraries for me if had multiple pets or just because it’s nice to have something structured to go off of! I am flexible with what will make you and your fur baby comfortable!
“Anastasia was so amazing to my pups and made me feel so much better about leaving them behind for the first time!! She sent the best pics and I could tell they were so happy with her. I will continue to use her for any future drop ins!!!”

“Sasha is a wonderful sitter. She is great with my pups and keeping in contact. One of my pups, an elderly boy, had recently had surgery which left a wound that needed tending to. Sasha did not hesitate to help with changing his bandages and administering his medication. It was a great weight from my mind knowing he was being taken care of. My boys all love when Sasha comes for her visits. It's evident in the many pictures she provides. I would highly recommend Sasha and her services for anyone looking for a wonderful pup sitter. I know my boys are taken care of with her. And as any dog parent knows, that is paramount.”

“Kendall was hands down the best Rover sitter, my husband and I have ever had! She is kind and patient with animals of all shapes, sizes and ages. I felt a sense of relief while on vacation that I haven’t felt in a while because of her thoughtful and detailed notes that really let me know she knew our pets. She will absolutely be our first call if we need care for our pets in the future.”

Meagan is great!! She made friends and hung out with my kitties. Always made sure litter was clean and food and water were filled. Her report cards were thorough (hilarious) and she included plenty of photos. We appreciate her!! This is the second time we’ve used her and I’ll book her again next time!!

Kendall is always great with my girl! Unfortunately Leia was not the friendliest with her on the last few visits as she was dealing with some anxiety while I was out of town. But Kendall is always amazing with her and gives her the best walks and spends quality time with her. She does her best to put her at ease!! She knows animals very well! We will continue to use Kendall for future visits 🤗

Iremar is an amazing dog sitter to Oreo and Bailey. She truly treated them with so much respect, love, and as if they were her own. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
