She was so great with Leia and I could tell that Leia really enjoyed her time with Kendall as well. She gave so much attention to Leia while with her, and I really appreciated that. She gave very detailed check ins(with lots of pics), which was so nice as I was out of town. I could not recommend Kendall enough if you are in need of someone to show lots of love to your pup!”

About: I have over 3 years of hands-on experience caring for animals, including professional dog daycare and veterinary hospital experience. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, and pets who need extra patience or attention. I’m experienced with exercise, enrichment, feeding, medications, basic training, and monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I worked in a veterinary clinic throughout the summer and am now starting school, so my availability is more flexible around my class schedule. I’m unavailable on most Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m willing to work around it from time to time. I’m available most other weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. I’m happy to work with owners to find a schedule that works best for their pets! I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine in every visit. My veterinary and professional animal-care experience has taught me how to safely handle pets with different temperaments, ages, and needs. I’m attentive to behavior, follow care instructions closely, and will keep you updated throughout each visit.
“Kathryn was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Zara. She provided detailed updates and lots of pictures during every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious she genuinely cared about Zara and spent quality time with her, not just feeding her and leaving. She even cleaned around the food area and brought in a package for me, which I really appreciated. Her notes were thoughtful, funny, and reassuring, and I could tell Zara became very comfortable with her. I would absolutely book Kathryn again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable cat sitter.”

“Meagan was super sweet and great with our kitties. She gave them fresh water each visit, topped off their food, picked the cat litter, and cleaned up their puke mess. She even swept the loose litter and brought in a package that was delivered! She gave the kitties she could find lots of lovies as well. We’ll definitely be using her services again!”

“Emma did an awesome job and is so dependable. I will use her again. She is so attentive and is very detailed oriented. I totally trust with my kitty and my home. ?”

About: I love all animals, having a variety of pets, but dogs especially. I love engaging with them, and forming a bond over the course of our activities together is always fun for us both. I have 2 dogs myself and regularly watched over other peoples companions. This includes multiple clients I already provide service to. If your pet needs to be fed, scratched, walked or is just in need of some company I'm more than happy to help. I'm ready to become a friend of you and your pet alike. I'm available and flexible to times that meet you and your dogs needs. I'm always eager to meet new animals all the time so consider me if your pet needs some more activity during the day!
“Judi was great. She of course did all the things required by Rover, but she really seemed to understand my two boys personalities. One's a "shy dog" papillion and one's a enthusiastic rescue chiweenie. From her reports, I could see she didn't just run in, feed them and go, but she stayed and played with them and got to know them. No one but me can get near to the shy one, but I think if I had been gone longer, Judi might have actually gotten him to play and accept her. I will definitely contact her to take care of them the next time I travel.”

Meagan is great!! She made friends and hung out with my kitties. Always made sure litter was clean and food and water were filled. Her report cards were thorough (hilarious) and she included plenty of photos. We appreciate her!! This is the second time we’ve used her and I’ll book her again next time!!

Kendall is always great with my girl! Unfortunately Leia was not the friendliest with her on the last few visits as she was dealing with some anxiety while I was out of town. But Kendall is always amazing with her and gives her the best walks and spends quality time with her. She does her best to put her at ease!! She knows animals very well! We will continue to use Kendall for future visits 🤗

Had a wonderful experience with Sophia! She graciously accepted to check in on our 3 cats on short notice and did so great! She was reliable, followed our instructions and gave us peace of mind while away from our babies. Would definitely book again in the future.

Iremar is an amazing dog sitter to Oreo and Bailey. She truly treated them with so much respect, love, and as if they were her own. She constantly keeps in communication with photos and text messages one thing I truly appreciate it sincerely. If you are looking for a reliable dog sitter I highly recommend Iremar to be you pick. I can’t wait to book her services again.

This is the third time Amye has done drop in visits for us and just as expected, everything went perfectly!! We really appreciate her giving us the peace of mind that our babies are well taken care of while we are out of town. Her communication is top-notch!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
