About: Do you want someone to love your dog and care for it the way you do? That will be me and my 13 year old daughter. Our pup Coco is good with all types of dogs. It helps she has 11 best pup friends she sees from time to time. I am the one girl who always is asked to watch dogs for family, friends or family friends. I would love the opportunity to play, walk, and dog sit your favorite companion. I hope you choose me and if you have questions please do not hesitate to ask. A dog walks into a bar and hops up on a stool. He looks the bartender straight in the eye and says, “Hey, guess what? I can talk. Have you ever seen a talking dog before? Amazing, right? How about a drink?” The bartender thinks for a moment and says, “Sure, the toilet’s right around the corner.” I work from home every day of the week so I’m flexible with interacting, playing, walking and letting your pup outside when he or she need to. I have a fenced yard and a pup to keeps your company. Spacious backyard and squirrels to play with. So many toys to also keep your best friend busy and happy.

About: I'm am an experienced professional pet care provider of over 3 years. I am specialized in cleaning, feeding, grooming, and administering medication. I am currently working towards earning my dog grooming certification. I specialize in overall welfare for cats and dogs. I've had professional experience with other animals such as guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, etc. So there's nothing I'm shy of learning if I haven't already ! I am trained in properly handling medical situations in a safe manner. This includes administering medication, how to react to medical emergencies, and identifying when there is an underlying issue. I am trained in providing scheduled services as well. This can include teeth brushing/care, cleaning tear stains, ear cleaning, nail clipping, and even all plus a bath. Pet care fits into my routine daily. Everyday I ensure my animals are free of bacteria that could cause irritation. Throughout the week consists of brushing teeth multiple times, cleaning their ears and eyes, and ensuring they have a fresh water source. In order to keep things maintained and to keep track I write all things on my calendar. Along with the daily and weekly tasks, I have monthly tasks too! Every month all litter boxes get a deep clean, all cat furniture and toys get cleaned as well. I also include a nail trim at least twice a month. I will abide by my clients instructions with an understanding that whatever I may be doing will be necessary and safe. There’s nothing I would do that I don’t feel confident doing. I’m not afraid to ask questions and adjust. I’m just starting out on this kind of app but I hope to make a great impression on all owners and especially your animals.

About: With years of hands-on experience, I've volunteered at animal shelters where I gained valuable insight into caring for a variety of dogs. Growing up with both big and small breeds, I've learned how to adapt to each dog's unique needs and personality. Additionally, I regularly take care of my roommate's dog when she's away, further honing my skills in providing reliable, loving care. Whether it's walking, feeding, or simply offering companionship, I’m committed to ensuring every pet feels safe, happy, and well-cared for. I work full-time during the week, but I'm available on weekends to offer the best care for your dog. Whether it's dog sitting, walking, or just spending quality time with your furry friend, weekends work perfectly for me to ensure they get the attention they deserve while you're busy. Let me know how I can help! I take great pride in providing a comfortable and safe environment for pets, both in my home and in my clients' homes. When caring for pets in my home, I create a cozy, pet-friendly space where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. In your home, I make sure to respect your pet's familiar surroundings while providing the same level of care. I stick to their routine, offer companionship, and ensure they feel safe and secure while you're away. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet as if they were my own, always ensuring they’re happy and well-cared for.

About: Hi, I’m Alison! 🐾 and I’m 27 years old. I’m a pet lover based in Haltom City, TX, and I truly enjoy spending time with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I provide a safe, loving, and fun environment where your pup will feel right at home. I’ve already cared for several wonderful dogs and love creating a strong bond with each one. I live in an RV that is almost a tiny house with my husband. My RV is inside a fence that remains closed at all times. I live in a quiet neighborhood and have a very large yard behind my RV, perfect for running and playing with your dog. We also have some green areas and parks around. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, doggy daycare, and overnight stays. If you're looking for someone reliable, caring, and responsible, I’d be happy to help care for your furry friend! 🐶💕 I hope to hear about you soon! I'm available Wednesday and weekends for boarding, doggy day care and walks! My routine is the same every week so don’t hesitate to ask me. I live in an RV next to a house. The house is fenced on both sides, but I have my own entrance to my property. The fences are closed all day because the owners of the house also have pets and want to keep them safe.

Monica is terrific! This was the first time I have ever used a service like this to care for my dog, Lincoln, and I am beyond impressed with Monica's attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile. The request was last minute and she even accommodated our wished to have a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everything would go smoothly. Lincoln had a few special needs and Monica was great about fulfilling them and provided an update once the stay was over. Lincoln was happy and well taken care of, giving us the peace of mind we need to use Rover & Monica again in the future!

About: I’ve been around animals since I was little. I’ve always loved being around them!! This started out as something fun & quickly grew into one of my greatest passions. I’m currently in school online. My free time is used up by baking, cooking, or walking. I am left with plenty of free time so what better way to use it than to take fur babies on walks!! I think of our pets as humans. They’re loving, supportive, funny animals. All they show is love so why not show it back. 🐾 💕🐾 💕🐾

Sarah was amazing and so communicative. She showed so much love and care for Bernie while we were away, that we were able to enjoy our vacation worry free. This was our first family vacation and first time ever leaving Bernie. He is a senior dog and we weren’t sure how our vacation would impact his health. Thankfully Sarah sent us daily updates and kept us in the loop of Bernie’s daily activities. She is extremely reliable and sees these pets as her own. Anyone hesitant for a dog sitter because of the unknowns, I can not recommend her enough!

This woman is an angel! She’s so experienced with dogs from all walks of life and demeanors. She’s very professional and communicative and worthy to trust with your home and fur baby. I’ve been very happy with her help with my animals. She drops in once or twice a day as needed and adjusts to my schedule, which is extremely helpful, especially when I like to be gone for church all day on Sunday from like 9 AM until almost 9:30 PM… It’s so nice not having to run home in the middle of the day but yet still come home to all my fur babies, and they’ve been taken care of!

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Haltom City stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Haltom City. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
