“Ericka & Robert were so friendly and reassuring. This was my first time having to leave my fur baby with someone that was not family and their demeanor and love for their own pets put me at ease almost instantly. Rocko loved visiting with them and their family and fit right in with the group. Thank you, Ericka and Robert for taking such good care of our baby! We will use you guys again and definitely highly recommend! ❤️”

“Ludo had an awesome stay at Aimee's place. Aimee and family were wonderful, they took great care of him. Ludo made a new friend with Remi, their sweet little cockapoo. Aimee kept in touch via Rover app and WhatsApp and sent us photos and updates regularly. We will definitely board Ludo with Aimee again in the future.”

“Wonderful with my little guy! Sent picture updates and a very kind person!!! Teddy had a blast at her house. Thank you so much Rhonda!! 100% will use her again in the future.”

“Jin and Weiliang were amazing sitters for our Piper. They kept us updated frequently with lots of videos and pictures. Would definitely use them again!”

“When Walter is with Malcolm and his family we don’t worry. We know he’s in a loving caring environment. He loves staying “at camp” and when we ask if he’s ready for camp he gets so excited. Can’t say enough about how well Walter ( our spaz) is taken care of and loved while we’re away. Our thanks to Malcolm and his family.”

“My little guy is a 14 week old puppy. Lindsey and her beautiful family spoiled this little guy. I received several pictures of a pup having the time of his life. She made sure to make him as comfortable as possible. She made sure to keep the puppy on schedule. I was mostly impressed that her sweet children wanted to help and be the assistant pup sitters. When I picked up my baby, her children were so excited to give me a report on my puppy. The pup was so sad to see his friends go back inside. I’m so happy to have found such a wonderful family. I would highly highly recommend them! Please take your furbabies to Lindsey. The moment you meet them, you will not have to worry… not even for a second!”

“A fabulous experience! The care and attention to detail was the best I have ever seen. Our dog didn’t want to leave when we came to pick him up. Love these two! Don’t hesitate to use Sinatra & Sachindra, you won’t regret it.”

“I can’t say enough good things! My dogs come back tired, happy and Leilani is always so accommodating without hectic schedules including last minute extensions. We’ll be continuing to send our boys to her for years to come!”

“Frankie was tired after her stay, so I know she had fun playing with her dogs. She sent me picture updates and took her to the dog park too! She seemed well cared for and loved on.”

“Hugh took great care of Missy. I got updates every day with a picture. I don’t worry about Missy when she stays with Hugh. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby girl. See you next time.”

“Came to the rescue with the need of a last minute booking. My puppy enjoyed himself I’m sure as the family had him active and was having fun with him. He was returned exactly how I left him and was content when I came to pick him up. Katy also sent pics, was flexible and was very communicative. I will definitely feel comfortable leaving him with her and her family again and would recommend her to many other new time puppy parents. Thank you again 🐾❤️”

“Thanks Rover for your services and Lauren who did an awesome job watching our puppy-baby. We were so nervous as it was our first time away from our puppy and Rover service. She kept us up to date and sent us pictures and we were very grateful for that…. I would definitely recommend Lauren and her family and will definitely use her services again (if she accepts my puppy again)”

“Adrianne is amazing about keeping the dogs under her care engaged physically and mentally, which is awesome by itself. She would send pictures and videos throughout her stay with little updates and progress. Can't recommend enough.”

“Host took good care of our dog! Appreciated the pics and updates. That was great. Having a large backyard was a nice feature for a labrador. Definitely plan on returning! Thank you !”

“Chee & Mark took the best care of our 6 month old puppy! This was our first time using Rover and we loved receiving pictures during the day and seeing her playing with other dogs! Thank you Cher & Mark!!”

Lindsey and her family were great with Chloe. She is very detailed oriented which I really appreciate since I am as well. They kept her same routine as she normally has at home and gave her lots of love and playtime. Lindsay was also excellent at keeping me up-to-date throughout the stay.

I had a last minute change of plans and needed someone to take care of our dog Buddy. Thankfully Angelica was available and took excellent care of our dog. She responded very quickly when I messaged her and kept me up today on how Buddy was doing. I was able to relax knowing that he was in good hands and I will definitely book with Angelica again.

Hannah is my absolute go to! I have no worries while she is watching our dog, Jersey! She is very helpful and communicates well through the entire process. While trying to schedule travel is stressful enough, Hannah puts us at ease with her care and attentiveness.
We had a wonderful experience with Gina and she’s definitely our new favorite! She sent us lots of updates and photos throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dogs clearly had an amazing time with her and her family. They looked so happy and comfortable in every update. We could tell they were very loved and well cared for. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.

We had a wonderful experience with Sujata & Sachindra taking care of Fifi for the whole day. They kept us updated with pictures throughout the day, which made us feel very comfortable and happy. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
