“Thanks Again...This is our second time having Aimee care for Lilly. I appreciated Aimee's heart to make Lilly feel safe and welcome. She even reached out to find out if Lilly sleeps on the bed or on the floor in her bed. 😊We will definitely see Aimee and Remie (her pet) again.!!!”

“My wife and I have been searching for the perfect words to describe our experience with Nancy, and I’m excited to share just how wonderful it was! From the moment Nancy invited us over for a meet-and-greet, any concerns we had were quickly put to rest. Her warm welcome and her family’s positive, uplifting energy made it clear that Bruce would be in excellent hands. Nancy’s thoughtful care included daily walks to help burn off Bruce's energy, and she kept us updated with daily pictures, so we could see how happy and well-cared-for he was. She also managed Bruce’s eye drops and insulin shots with ease, giving us one less thing to worry about. Thanks to Nancy, my wife and I could relax and truly enjoy our anniversary trip, knowing Bruce was in the best possible place. To top it all off, Nancy’s prices are incredibly reasonable—possibly even too fair! We wholeheartedly recommend Nancy for dog boarding and care. Not only is she exceptional with dogs, but she’s also a genuinely wonderful person.”

“Jackie and Lambert were so sweet and gave lots of updates on our fur baby. They were very accommodating. Will definitely think of them first next time we need someone to sit for us!”

“I’ve heard of Rover app but not really familiar with it. Erika is AMAZING! She has given our dog great care while we were gone. I felt like it was last minute but she was definitely able to accommodate us d/t family emergency. She updated us everyday thru the app and even sent pictures! Her own dog is great with our dog as well. We will definitely book again with her to watch our dog.”

“Gayle, thank you for taking care of our little guy in a pinch. Really appreciate all the care and love you gave him especially the trips over to the doggie park. Sounds like he really enjoyed himself.”

“Luda did an amazing job! She sent us pictures every day of our dog, which was perfect since we missed her. Our dog felt like she was at home the whole time. I would highly recommend Luda to anyone! Amazing! ?”

About: I've had pets since I was a child and I've always loved them like they were my children. Now I watch my children love our pets! We enjoy having pets in our home to cuddle with, play with and spoil! I am a school teacher with summers off. I am home with my two children from the end of May to the beginning of August. When pets are in our home they are shown loads of attention and love. They have regular potty breaks and have a big fenced in yard to play in.
“Susan took very good care of my cat. She kept me informed throughout the week. My cat clearly enjoyed her "vacation". I will absolutely use Susan in the future. I highly recommend her. She does have her own dog. The dog is very well behaved and not at all aggressive. There were no interaction problems for my cat.”

“John and Erika were so kind to our pup! We went over beforehand and had a meet and greet and they were so gracious to do that to get our dog comfortable with their house. They sent us so many pictures that made us feel even more at ease. We ended up with flight delays and they were so accommodating to be able to keep him an additional day for us. Thank you for helping us first time Rovers feel confident in leaving him! 😊 We’re very thankful for you! 🥰”

“Sarah always goes above and beyond to make life easier for us! Luna stayed with her many times and we can tell she loves it there! We couldn’t have a better sitter! Thank you and until the next one :)”

“We took our Mini Aussie Fur Baby, to Jin and Weiliang's home to make sure she was adaptable to the home environment and afterwards, we decided that the house has a good fit for our our Fur Baby. While we were away for 3 day, we receive video and picture updates as morning check in updates. Our mini Aussie (Sugar) appeared to be very happy, we will definately use Jin and Weiliang every time we need their services.”

“Kathleen took such good care of Brownee! Brownee came back home well fed and happy. She definitely got comfortable at Kathleen’s and I’m happy for it. Once again, Kathleen shared updates and pictures throughout the stay, and when I picked Brownee up, Kathleen gave a thorough overview of all happenings. I really appreciate it.”

“Ashley was so great at taking care of our dog. She was so communicative and flexible and understanding and helped our pup feel better when he missed being away from home. We are so grateful she took care of him and helped him feel more comfortable.”

“Ms. Vanessa Gladys is wonderful! So happy we found her! We were very concerned about leaving our doggie for 2 weeks to go to Europe to see family and after stressful research I am so glad I reached out to Vanessa! She has a great set up in her cozy home for the dogs she takes in and she is very reliable and trustworthy. We left her with many little tasks and information about our fairly senior dog and she followed all our instructions and kept great communication with us accompanied by pictures almost daily! She even posed the doggies in cute surroundings with the Christmas decorations. You are special Ms. Vanessa! We could tell you really enjoy watching over the dogs and caring for them. Thank you!”

“I am so happy to have found Katie and her family to watch over my babygirl fur baby (med/lg Dutch Shepherd mix). I will absolutely request a reservation for her service for my upcoming trip out of the country, and know my baby will be safe, well cared for, and be treated like family while I am gone. She sent updates and her whole family loved on my babygirl while she was with them. I have never felt so reassured while on a trip away from my pet before. Definitely, the right choice! 100% 10/10 satisfaction 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!”

“She was amazing with Bella—very attentive, communicative, and caring. She kept me updated throughout the entire time and made me feel completely at ease knowing Bella was in good hands.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Northlake
Jennifer took wonderful care of my 15-year-old dog for four days. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. It's always nerve-wracking leaving a senior dog in someone else's care, but Jennifer made the experience completely stress-free. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing. She took great care of my 4-pound chiweenie, Rocko, and from the moment she took him, I could immediately tell she truly loves animals. Rocko seemed happy and comfortable right away, which gave me peace of mind. Throughout his stay, she kept me updated and even sent a picture, which I really appreciated. When I returned, Rocko was ready to go and clearly had a great time. It was obvious he enjoyed his stay. I will definitely be using her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Her family was also wonderful and made Rocko feel very welcome.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
