“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. “My husband and I had such an amazing experience with Kelly! She took excellent care of shy pup Olive and was also incredibly flexible. We only had 12 hours to find a sitter after a sudden change of plans, and Kelly was so accommodating. Olive spent two nights with Kelly and her family, and it was clear at pick up that she had a great time. She would have stayed longer if we let her! Kelly was able to give Olive her medicine twice a day and kept us updated with pictures and texts. Her lab, Charlie, was such a gentleman and helped Olive feel comfortable from the get-go. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Caring for both brings me lots of joy. My work schedule allows me the time to take care of your pet on the weekends and be fully attentive to their needs during the week. It fits extremely well. Your dog may have to go a max 5 hrs without the a potty break while I’m at work but never more than that. Otherwise they’ll get plenty of attention and care. I go completely off your pets needs and how you’d like for them to be taken care of. Every dog is different but I will feed as necessary and walk at least 2-3 times a day, again depending on the pets needs. We do have 2 dogs at home. 1 is a small dog and the other is a medium. They’ve gotten along well with other Rover dogs and have never been an issue. They just want to sleep and play.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a little kid and recently had to say goodbye to my last dog. I adore dogs but as empty nesters who travel, I’m not in a place to get another one full time now. So I decided to dog sit instead so that way I get to love on your babies as my own. I have a huge fenced in backyard with all grass and lots of room to roam. I have always let my dogs sleep with me and also cuddle on the couch. Your dog(s) will be in good hands and I look forward to taking care of them while you are away from home. About: I'm a huge animal lover, and have had everything from cats and dogs to ferrets and fish! I've always watched over other people's animals for as long as I can remember and love every moment of it! From cuddling with a lazy fur baby to going on long runs to let out some energy, I've always been able to match any pets energy! I am a full time college student currently studying at NCTC! I'm usually free for the most part if not in class or the weekends where I get most of my studying and homework out of the way! I'm always willing to abide by any house rules you may have or areas that are off limits or need extra eyes on. I'm more than happy to crate dogs and make sure cats try not to scratch up furniture!
About: I work from home full time and have two cats and dog. I grew up in a home with pets and would love the opportunity to meet some new fur babies. I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. I have set my parameters for 15 minute distance from me so that I would be able to make those drop in visits with no problem. I don’t plan to house any pets, but if that should occur I do have a fenced yard and am familiar with crating. I would also only ever be able to take on one at a time because we do have three pets full time.

“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. “Terry was wonderful with our 2 dogs. One of our pups is 13 years old and very nervous but when we went to pick them up she wasn't in a hurry to leave! That says it all. They were walked, played with, fed on-schedule and the updates were wonderful, including a great video of one of our dogs playing in his nice backyard. He has been a very good communicator. His house is lovely, clean and very doggy proofed. We're thankful for Terry!”
“We feel so lucky to have found Lacey and Mark. This was our first ever time to use Rover and the experience could not have been better. Our initial meet and greet with Lacey and her sweet dog Harvey was so wonderful. It was such a calm and relaxing experience for our sweet Brodie girl and Us!! After this visit, we felt very comfortable setting up our first boarding with Lacey and Mark. Brodie loved her stay with Lacey, Mark and Harvey. On our drop off Brodie was a bit nervous, but Lacey put us all at ease. She was so kind and calm which made our drop off experience much easier. We received daily communication and pictures from Lacey. Our Brodie girl looked so calm and happy in all the pictures, she could not have been in better care while we were away. We highly recommend Lacey and Mark.”
“My husband and I had such an amazing experience with Kelly! She took excellent care of shy pup Olive and was also incredibly flexible. We only had 12 hours to find a sitter after a sudden change of plans, and Kelly was so accommodating. Olive spent two nights with Kelly and her family, and it was clear at pick up that she had a great time. She would have stayed longer if we let her! Kelly was able to give Olive her medicine twice a day and kept us updated with pictures and texts. Her lab, Charlie, was such a gentleman and helped Olive feel comfortable from the get-go. Olive slept like a log when we got back home. Thank you, Kelly!”
“Diana took great care of my Dog Wooly and was very understanding when my car broke down out of town and I couldn’t come to get Wooly as scheduled. She updated me daily on my dog’s condition and activities and gave him his meds as I instructed. Wooly will definitely love to stay with Diana again 🐾”
