About: I have been in love with animals since I was little. I grew up on a farm with horses, cows, a sheep, dogs and cats. I've had 9 rescue dogs throughout my life, as well as 8 niece and nephew pups and countless friends' dogs I've cared for and loved. I have also volunteered at shelters and wildlife rescues, and I've even camel sat! I have experience working with and caring for different breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments and have partnered with trainers to help dogs with work through anxiety, over-stimulation, and reactivity issues. I have also cared for special needs dogs and senior dogs who need meds, diapers, traction devices, slings, and extra attention. Once I get to know a pup, I am very attuned to their behavior/mood/signs and am able to help them feel cared for and safe. I'm currently working part time, so my availability is very wide open. I'm free for walks and play time during the day or overnight stays with your pup in your home if you have a work trip or vacation. Is your dog an escape artist? I've had one of those, so I can bring a heavy wooden gate to block off doors or other areas of the house as needed. Other than that, I will treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own dogs, and considering that my friends have said they would like to be reincarnated as one of my dogs....

About: Dogs have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember, from the family pets I grew up with, to raising kids who always had four-legged companions by their side. Now that my nest is empty, my love for animals hasn't gone anywhere. If anything, it's only grown. My Lab, Buck, is proof of that - I can't imagine a single day without him. I know firsthand how much pets mean to a family. They're not "just dogs" ... they're members of the household, and they deserve to be treated that way. When you trust me with your pet, you're handing them off to someone who genuinely lights up around animals, has decades of real-life experience caring for them, and has the time and flexibility to give them undivided attention every single day. As a work-from-home empty nester, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the attention and companionship they deserve throughout the entire day. I'm not rushing out the door in the morning or counting down the hours until I get home — I'm here, present, and available. Whether it's a midday walk, a play session, or just some good old-fashioned company on the couch, your pet won't be left waiting or wondering where everyone went. I prefer to come to your home so your pet stays in the environment they know and love — same smells, same routine, same comfort. I believe pets are happiest when their world isn't disrupted, and that peace of mind extends to you as the owner too. That said, if you ever need in-home care at my place, your fur baby will have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to stretch their legs and burn some energy. Given the Texas heat, we keep things smart... outdoor time during the cooler parts of the day, and plenty of indoor fun with toys to keep them active, stimulated, and happy the rest of the time.

About: I am very familiar with small to mid-size dogs. I have cared for a Beagle Pit and a Catahoula Leopard dog for nearly 12 years with my family. I am famillar with dog walking and feeding these dogs. I also helped care for my aunt's smaller dogs on my visits years ago, a Shih Tzu, Yorkshire tTrrier, and two other small dogs (all rescues). I am currently only involved in my studies so my schedule is more flexible. Starting mid-August I will have one 3-hour block Monday through Thursday that I will need to be in classes. Beyond this I am flexible! I can only care for pets in you/the client's home as my Catahoula Leopard (as the breed suggests) is extremely territorial. I can do drop-ins or walks for your doggy throughout the day.

About: I have watched animals since I was younger whether it was my own pets or someone else’s. I have watched many of my family and friends animals and they have recommended me to their friends. I currently am a student-athlete at the University of North Texas, but I still have free time to be able to care and play with your animals! I am usually more available in the evenings and most weekends all day. I’m very attentive to their routines. I am able to take your pet outside to use the bathroom. I am able to crate your pet if needed. I’m also happy to follow specific feeding, medication, or bedtime routines so your pet can stay as comfortable as possible. I have a cat at my apartment that is able to keep them company.

About: From puppies to seniors, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, at least three dogs in my house my whole life. I learned to be responsible and became infatuated with pet-behaviors and learning the way every pet wants to be interacted with. I’ve also grown to love rescues, and have two of my own. While I’m not lucky enough to be a full-time animal enthusiast as my career, my favorite “hobby” is anything to do with dogs, the best way to take care of them, and make sure they enjoy their life. I have two pets of my own, one with special needs. I quite literally view them both as my own children, and do everything I can to know they feel and get treated that way. My pup gets her walks, play time, down time and routine care every day (along with all the snuggles), and as long as he gets attention (and maybe some chicken tubes) my kitty is happy. Even with working full time, I make sure they are my number one my priority. I quite literally view my own pets as my own children, and I know they will always be that way. My boyfriend finds it a bit much, but before her walks, my dog gets her puppy shoes on and off we go, to make sure she doesn’t get her burnt feet. I tend to be a bit of a worry-wart about my pets, I monitor their behavior and actions constantly. As soon as something may seem off with one of them, I’m already making calls and doing research as to what it may be. Thankfully, even with one pet of mine high risk for liver and kidney problems, they have been happy, healthy, and active pets (even with an apartment) since I’ve had them. My priority is always safety no matter the pet.

About: I have experience taking care of puppies/dogs since I was 16. I have had many family members and friends trust me with caring for their animals, as well as cats. I am currently working part time front desk. I would love to give the rest of my time to animals that need love and attention. I currently live on a fenced in acre and my cat Moki stays inside. I am happy to help with walks and check-ins, and I am comfortable working with any breed or species. I have cared for a wide variety of dogs, elderly and young, and can accommodate special needs. For walks I work with owners to establish the safest route according to their pups needs in! For check-ins I can do feedings, administer meds, and play with your pup to make sure they’re happy while you’re away. I currently work full time Monday through Thursday. I can fit in walks and check-ins before and after work on those days, but Friday-Sunday I generally have an open availability for any help you might need. Each animal is different and requires their own unique approach. I try to respect this when establishing a relationship with both owner and pet. For walks and check-ins, I will work with you to make sure I can properly care for your animal! If you are considering boarding please be aware I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own and we will need to heavily discuss if everyone can blend together safely!
