“Kaitlyn did a wonderful job taking care of Zeke, my Senior Jack Russell Terrior. He can be aggressive with new people but Kaitlyn connected with him. She made sure he had food and was let outside to potty. When he was alone, he made a couple of potty mistakes that she cleaned up on her visits. I highly recommend Kaitlyn and will user her again for future visits!”

About: I have been in love with animals since I was little. I grew up on a farm with horses, cows, a sheep, dogs and cats. I've had 9 rescue dogs throughout my life, as well as 8 niece and nephew pups and countless friends' dogs I've cared for and loved. I have also volunteered at shelters and wildlife rescues, and I've even camel sat! I have experience working with and caring for different breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments and have partnered with trainers to help dogs with work through anxiety, over-stimulation, and reactivity issues. I have also cared for special needs dogs and senior dogs who need meds, diapers, traction devices, slings, and extra attention. Once I get to know a pup, I am very attuned to their behavior/mood/signs and am able to help them feel cared for and safe. I'm currently working part time, so my availability is very wide open. I'm free for walks and play time during the day or overnight stays with your pup in your home if you have a work trip or vacation. Is your dog an escape artist? I've had one of those, so I can bring a heavy wooden gate to block off doors or other areas of the house as needed. Other than that, I will treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own dogs, and considering that my friends have said they would like to be reincarnated as one of my dogs....
About: Dogs have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember, from the family pets I grew up with, to raising kids who always had four-legged companions by their side. Now that my nest is empty, my love for animals hasn't gone anywhere. If anything, it's only grown. My Lab, Buck, is proof of that - I can't imagine a single day without him. I know firsthand how much pets mean to a family. They're not "just dogs" ... they're members of the household, and they deserve to be treated that way. When you trust me with your pet, you're handing them off to someone who genuinely lights up around animals, has decades of real-life experience caring for them, and has the time and flexibility to give them undivided attention every single day. As a work-from-home empty nester, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the attention and companionship they deserve throughout the entire day. I'm not rushing out the door in the morning or counting down the hours until I get home — I'm here, present, and available. Whether it's a midday walk, a play session, or just some good old-fashioned company on the couch, your pet won't be left waiting or wondering where everyone went. I prefer to come to your home so your pet stays in the environment they know and love — same smells, same routine, same comfort. I believe pets are happiest when their world isn't disrupted, and that peace of mind extends to you as the owner too. That said, if you ever need in-home care at my place, your fur baby will have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to stretch their legs and burn some energy. Given the Texas heat, we keep things smart... outdoor time during the cooler parts of the day, and plenty of indoor fun with toys to keep them active, stimulated, and happy the rest of the time.
“Amazing experience with Lillian. She went out of her way to provide care and comfort to our pup over the holidays, giving us peace of mind while out of town. Definitely recommend her and will use her in the future.”

“Lauryn took incredible care of our cat for a little over three weeks. We know our cat wasn't the easiest at first with her injections, and we are so grateful to Lauryn and her husband for stepping up, trying different things, and finding a creative way to handle an elderly cat safely. It gave us total peace of mind knowing she was in such capable and caring hands. Thank you for going above and beyond. We highly recommend Lauryn!”

“Very accommodating and took amazing care of my cat. For a cat with separation anxiety and will pee on things when left alone too long as well as scream at you when you come back home, she was pretty calm and very happy upon my arrival. Thank you so much Isabel!”

“Was willing to meet Cléo before booking which I really appreciate! Frequent and consistent updates at the requested times with plenty of photos for my mind and heart's ease. Thank you Jackson! 🥰🐱🐾🧶”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life. I have a six year old catahoula mix and know how to work with stubborn animals. I’m currently working for extra income and available all day for check ins and morning and evening walks. Would love to walk your pup while you are short on time. I stay outside with the dogs to keep them secure. We play games fill waters and schedule treats to keep them occupied. I focus on the pets and spend time with them.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I've also worked with Wag!, where I provided reliable, attentive care for a variety of pets and built experience meeting each dog's unique needs. My professional background is in behavior analysis, so I naturally use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior while helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and confident. I have a dog of my own named Stella, a pittie who is truly my whole world. Being a pet parent myself, I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member in someone else's care. That's why I treat every pet as if they were my own, with kindness, patience, plenty of attention, and lots of love. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping a consistent routine, I'm committed to providing the highest level of care. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! I'm available on weekdays from 4:30 PM until late evening and have full availability on weekends. I'm also available for weekend boarding, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard and one friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys meeting new friends. If your dog prefers their own space or is crate-trained, I can easily accommodate that as well. I always follow your pet's routine, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special care requests to help them feel as comfortable as possible. My background in behavior analysis has taught me to be patient, attentive to body language, and proactive in creating positive experiences. I also love keeping pet parents updated by sharing plenty of photos and videos, so you can see your furry friend having fun and know they're in great hands.
About: I am very familiar with small to mid-size dogs. I have cared for a Beagle Pit and a Catahoula Leopard dog for nearly 12 years with my family. I am famillar with dog walking and feeding these dogs. I also helped care for my aunt's smaller dogs on my visits years ago, a Shih Tzu, Yorkshire tTrrier, and two other small dogs (all rescues). I am currently only involved in my studies so my schedule is more flexible. Starting mid-August I will have one 3-hour block Monday through Thursday that I will need to be in classes. Beyond this I am flexible! I can only care for pets in you/the client's home as my Catahoula Leopard (as the breed suggests) is extremely territorial. I can do drop-ins or walks for your doggy throughout the day.

About: I have watched animals since I was younger whether it was my own pets or someone else’s. I have watched many of my family and friends animals and they have recommended me to their friends. I currently am a student-athlete at the University of North Texas, but I still have free time to be able to care and play with your animals! I am usually more available in the evenings and most weekends all day. I’m very attentive to their routines. I am able to take your pet outside to use the bathroom. I am able to crate your pet if needed. I’m also happy to follow specific feeding, medication, or bedtime routines so your pet can stay as comfortable as possible. I have a cat at my apartment that is able to keep them company.

About: From puppies to seniors, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, at least three dogs in my house my whole life. I learned to be responsible and became infatuated with pet-behaviors and learning the way every pet wants to be interacted with. I’ve also grown to love rescues, and have two of my own. While I’m not lucky enough to be a full-time animal enthusiast as my career, my favorite “hobby” is anything to do with dogs, the best way to take care of them, and make sure they enjoy their life. I have two pets of my own, one with special needs. I quite literally view them both as my own children, and do everything I can to know they feel and get treated that way. My pup gets her walks, play time, down time and routine care every day (along with all the snuggles), and as long as he gets attention (and maybe some chicken tubes) my kitty is happy. Even with working full time, I make sure they are my number one my priority. I quite literally view my own pets as my own children, and I know they will always be that way. My boyfriend finds it a bit much, but before her walks, my dog gets her puppy shoes on and off we go, to make sure she doesn’t get her burnt feet. I tend to be a bit of a worry-wart about my pets, I monitor their behavior and actions constantly. As soon as something may seem off with one of them, I’m already making calls and doing research as to what it may be. Thankfully, even with one pet of mine high risk for liver and kidney problems, they have been happy, healthy, and active pets (even with an apartment) since I’ve had them. My priority is always safety no matter the pet.
About: I have experience taking care of puppies/dogs since I was 16. I have had many family members and friends trust me with caring for their animals, as well as cats. I am currently working part time front desk. I would love to give the rest of my time to animals that need love and attention. I currently live on a fenced in acre and my cat Moki stays inside. I have experienced taking animals outside, watching them making sure they aren’t getting into trouble, feeding schedules, and lots of play time.
About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up we have always had 2 or more dogs in the house. I have also taken care of tons of other family members and friends dogs while they are away. I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days! I typically work from 10 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday, but outside of those hours I am free for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting. I’m also available in the early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and most weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and can be flexible to meet your needs! I have a puppy of my own who is very friendly. I take her out around every 4 to 6 hours. Can easily crate dog if needed.

About: Hi there! I have lots of experience caring for pets ranging from my own pets to shadowing at veterinary clinics in the DFW area. I am happy to help with walks and check-ins, and I am comfortable working with any breed or species. I have cared for a wide variety of dogs, elderly and young, and can accommodate special needs. For walks I work with owners to establish the safest route according to their pups needs in! For check-ins I can do feedings, administer meds, and play with your pup to make sure they’re happy while you’re away. I currently work full time Monday through Thursday. I can fit in walks and check-ins before and after work on those days, but Friday-Sunday I generally have an open availability for any help you might need. Each animal is different and requires their own unique approach. I try to respect this when establishing a relationship with both owner and pet. For walks and check-ins, I will work with you to make sure I can properly care for your animal! If you are considering boarding please be aware I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own and we will need to heavily discuss if everyone can blend together safely!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Northlake
Robin was absolutely wonderful with our Kylo! We felt completely at ease leaving him in her care while we were away. She did such a great job sticking to his normal schedule and making sure he felt comfortable and loved while we were gone. She spent time cuddling with him, gave him plenty of belly pats, and even wiped his paws after every walk — those little extra touches really showed how much she cared. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Kylo was in such good hands. He was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved while we were away. We would absolutely have Robin watch Kylo again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like their own! 🐾❤️

Samantha was wonderful! She was very communicative and took great care of our two dogs and cat while we were away. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. We will absolutely use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

We had such a wonderful experience! Dillon took care of our dogs for 5 days, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. From the start, communication was great and he kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs looked so happy and comfortable when we got back. He followed all of our instructions and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. We would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
