“Wendy was amazing with our crew. She was prepared for our meet and greet, and went above and beyond to adjust her schedule for us. She’s been an absolute life saver for our family and all our last minute needs. The pets adore her and we feel safe leaving them in her hands. We couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Amy really loves on our dogs like they are her own. If they’re happy when we’re gone we know that we can relax while on a vacation. She’s close by and that is a huge plus as well!”

“Samantha did such a great job visiting my cats who are very demanding. She really does a thorough and reliable job and is very kind. She communicates in a timely fashion which is great”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I have experience caring for dogs and cats both as pets and working animals. I have a bachelor's degree in behavior analysis and am pursuing my master's degree in behavior analysis. I focus on force and fear-free techniques when interacting with your pet. I implement positive reinforcement to create fun and lasting good experiences! I am home all day, so I have the flexibility to care for your fur babies whenever they need. I know that each pet is an individual and has their own schedule, and I am willing to work on their time I have a fenced-in backyard as well as two dog parks in my neighborhood. I believe that the animal is always right and look to accommodate the pet and their ever changing needs. I approach care without the use of aversives and punishment. I hope each animal leaves our interaction feeling relaxed, safe, and loved!
“Penny was amazing with Bear! Her communication was great, and she was able to help me on short notice. Looking forward to having Penny helping us out in the future. Thanks Penny!”

“Ryann did a fantastic job following instructions and even going above and beyond. She managed to keep our Houdini cat in and the pictures she sent showed happy cats. I will definitely book her again.”

About: i've been taking care of fur babies since i was young. Anytime, neighbors, family, and friends needed help caring for their pets, I was there! I will care for your babies as if they're my own. Pet Sitting/Care is currently my full-time job. I'm always accepting new house sits and drops ins, l make sure to update my calendar every couple of days. I do like to do meet & greets before any new sits/drop ins, even if it's just a quick video chat. I don't currently offer boarding services but If i did, I would make sure to your pet is as comfortable as possible in my home. In clients homes, I will play with your pets, and take them on as many walks as needed for them to burn off energy. I will feed on time and keep your pets schedule as normal as possible.
“This was our first experience with River and Miranda was great! She took wonderful care of our puppy and made sure we knew all his updates. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I am very familiar with small to mid-size dogs. I have cared for a Beagle Pit and a Catahoula Leopard dog for nearly 12 years with my family. I am famillar with dog walking and feeding these dogs. I also helped care for my aunt's smaller dogs on my visits years ago, a Shih Tzu, Yorkshire tTrrier, and two other small dogs (all rescues). I am currently only involved in my studies so my schedule is more flexible. Starting mid-August I will have one 3-hour block Monday through Thursday that I will need to be in classes. Beyond this I am flexible! I can only care for pets in you/the client's home as my Catahoula Leopard (as the breed suggests) is extremely territorial. I can do drop-ins or walks for your doggy throughout the day.
“John and Becky were wonderful and who I will ask for every time. They came over and met our two dogs and we knew right away they were dog people! They visited and loved on our dogs while we were gone and sent pictures. We felt completely comfortable leaving our babies in their hands and I highly recommend them!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have also sat pets for many years for my friends and neighbors. I have worked as a dog bather so I have experience handling dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I am also willing to bathe/dry, brush and do nails for your dog, the rate is under drop in visits but that is for everything I just listed if you just need one service we can talk about that 😁 (rate will also change depending on the size of the dog). I volunteer at animal rescues so I am very familiar with rescue animals and accommodations they may need. I love any and all animals. I recently started working with cats at my rescue and am willing to learn more about them. I am recently home from college for the summer. I am available all day everyday for drop-ins, house sitting, walks, and basic grooming services. When caring for pets in a clients home, I follow their normal routine as consistently as possible. I make sure they have water, food on time, bathroom breaks, playtime/exercise, and lots of love. For walks I pay attention to how the dog behaves and set my pace, energy, and length of walk to best fit them. For drop-ins and house sitting I make sure the pet gets playtime, basic care, and companionship based on their routine. I have experience with everyday pet care and have also bathed dogs I have cared for when needed. I aim to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and loved while their owner is away.
About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up we have always had 2 or more dogs in the house. I have also taken care of tons of other family members and friends dogs while they are away. I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days! I typically work from 10 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday, but outside of those hours I am free for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting. I’m also available in the early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and most weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and can be flexible to meet your needs! I have a puppy of my own who is very friendly. I take her out around every 4 to 6 hours. Can easily crate dog if needed.
About: I love all of the pets!! My Husband and I have three cats and one small dog at our house and a fenced in backyard. My best friend is a vet so she gives me all the advice and tips on dogs and cats! I can cater to anything you prefer, if you have very high maintenance or chill pets. My dog gets along with other dogs but we can seperate her to a different part of the house with a dog gate if needed! Drop by care is fine or if you’re going on a trip, we would love to have your pup stay with us. They are in greaf hands, lots of backyard play and will be very spoiled! Can’t wait to meet your little guys!! Im home a lot so I have much time to care for the animals here! We have a big back yard and I love going outside with them for exercise! Whatever your care preferences are, we try to accommodate to that! Just communicate with me what your expectations are, we want your dog to have consistency.

About: I work from home full time and have two cats and dog. I grew up in a home with pets and would love the opportunity to meet some new fur babies. I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. I have set my parameters for 15 minute distance from me so that I would be able to make those drop in visits with no problem. I don’t plan to house any pets, but if that should occur I do have a fenced yard and am familiar with crating. I would also only ever be able to take on one at a time because we do have three pets full time.
Northlake pet parents share their Rover experiences
I had a wonderful experience with Wendy and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care. From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, and attentive to my cat’s needs. While I was away, Wendy provided regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. My cat was happy, well cared for, and clearly received plenty of attention and affection. She also followed all instructions carefully and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. It's clear that she genuinely loves animals and treat them like her own. I returned home to a happy, relaxed pet and on top of it everything was clean and tidy. I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely be using her services again in the future!

We had such a wonderful experience! Dillon took care of our dogs for 5 days, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. From the start, communication was great and he kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs looked so happy and comfortable when we got back. He followed all of our instructions and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. We would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter!
