About: I have been a huge dog lover ever since I can remember! I grew up living with dogs my whole life and I have two dogs of my own that I lovlingly take care of. I also have experience pet sitting for friends and neighbors and have taken care of both younger and older dogs. 🐶 I'm a college student at the University of North Texas, so I have a very flexible schedule during breaks! During the school year my schedule will look a little different, but I will still be available to look after your pups! I will gladly send you video and picture updates of your sweet dogs! I am also happy to play with them, give them daily exercise and the loving attention they need. My biggest priority is making sure your dogs are safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve been petsitting for my friends and neighbours since I was 12, including administering medication, cleaning messes, housekeeping, and most all other common tasks and chores. If there’s a task you need of me that I don’t have experience in, I’d be glad to learn. As of right now I’m still in school, but after graduation (end of May, roughly) I’ll be available nearly 24/7. It’ll be ideal for me not to be scheduled for boarding on Fridays, but I will, of course, if your schedule calls for it! I absolutely value the trust of my clients and the safety of their pets, and will always do everything I can for them to feel they can leave their home and the pets inside it safe and secure with me.
“Kathrine was outstanding, so calming and kind. Hank was well cared for and comfortable while we were gone. She communicated well. So thankful I found Kathrine! I highly recommend her!”

“Tristan was amazing! Our front door can be a little hard to open, and we were unfortunately unreachable at the time - she was persistent to get in and wasn’t going to leave until our boys were taken care of! Will 100% be using her again.”

“Kaitlyn did a wonderful job taking care of Zeke, my Senior Jack Russell Terrior. He can be aggressive with new people but Kaitlyn connected with him. She made sure he had food and was let outside to potty. When he was alone, he made a couple of potty mistakes that she cleaned up on her visits. I highly recommend Kaitlyn and will user her again for future visits!”

“Ryann did a fantastic job following instructions and even going above and beyond. She managed to keep our Houdini cat in and the pictures she sent showed happy cats. I will definitely book her again.”

“Sophia was a great sitter, followed guidance and always sent the cutest pictures of our furbabies! She was reliable and gave our two cats and 70 pound dog lots of attention and treats while we were gone.”

About: I have several years of experience working with all kind of four-legged friends! I’ve done overnight stays on several occasions, and am comfortable with any kind of animals. I am pet-CPR certified and currently have a senior dog, have experience bottle feeding newborns, administering medication, and have had cats my entire life. I’m currently pursuing an online school course, so I have an open schedule for anything you need me for; daily sitting, overnights, check ins, or walks! I have reliable transportation and availability to care for your house/pets whenever I’m needed. I’m able to read body language (such as signs of discomfort or boredom) to help me better understand what your furry friend needs; and I do so with care and attention.

About: I have had and cared for dogs my whole life and have lived with cats at one point as well. I’ve dealt with dogs from the puppy stage all the way to 15 years old. I have also dog sat for multiple people’s dogs for extended amounts of times. I have always love animals and taking care of them! I do currently work full time but i am prepared to care for your pet anytime i am not at work! I usually leave for work fairly early and get off fairly early so for a good portion of the day they will have someone with them. I can easily care for your pets the way you prefer me to. About: Dogs have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember, from the family pets I grew up with, to raising kids who always had four-legged companions by their side. Now that my nest is empty, my love for animals hasn't gone anywhere. If anything, it's only grown. My Lab, Buck, is proof of that - I can't imagine a single day without him. I know firsthand how much pets mean to a family. They're not "just dogs" ... they're members of the household, and they deserve to be treated that way. When you trust me with your pet, you're handing them off to someone who genuinely lights up around animals, has decades of real-life experience caring for them, and has the time and flexibility to give them undivided attention every single day. As a work-from-home empty nester, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the attention and companionship they deserve throughout the entire day. I'm not rushing out the door in the morning or counting down the hours until I get home — I'm here, present, and available. Whether it's a midday walk, a play session, or just some good old-fashioned company on the couch, your pet won't be left waiting or wondering where everyone went. I prefer to come to your home so your pet stays in the environment they know and love — same smells, same routine, same comfort. I believe pets are happiest when their world isn't disrupted, and that peace of mind extends to you as the owner too. That said, if you ever need in-home care at my place, your fur baby will have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to stretch their legs and burn some energy. Given the Texas heat, we keep things smart... outdoor time during the cooler parts of the day, and plenty of indoor fun with toys to keep them active, stimulated, and happy the rest of the time.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bartonville. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
