About: Throughout my life I have owned and currently own many pets. I am a huge animal lover and enjoy spending time with them. No matter whose pet I’m taking care of, I treat them like my own. Paying attention to a pets individual needs is one of my top priorities. I’m attentive, reliable and love to communicate and keep people updated so owners feel confident. I am currently a student in cosmetology, so I am free after 4:30 on Fridays and Mondays. On Saturday I am usually completely free ! I just need to be told in advance about walking/ pet sitting. I treat every pet like they are my own while also respecting their home and routine. I follow feeding, walking, playtime instructions and make sure they receive plenty of affection. I will keep their space clean and comfortable and leave the home just as I found it.

I also worked with Southlake Crittercare as a dog driver and handler, safely transporting dogs to and from daycare and assisting with playgroups organized by energy level and play style. In both roles, I cared for boarding dogs and handled daily routines such as feeding and administering medications. Paying close attention to individual needs and keeping dogs comfortable and secure was always a priority. Outside of my professional roles, I’ve provided in-home and overnight pet sitting for friends and family over the years. This includes caring for a home with four Basset Hounds of varying ages, including senior dogs requiring multiple medications. About: This is my new profile from my previous inactive one! i’m 21 years old, I am local to the Lantana/Argyle area and have been for the past 8 years of my life with pet care experience reaching back 10 years. i was born in Missouri, the first place i was able to be blessed with a beautiful family husky named raven, coming before my second family dog named max (boxer). after him came the 3 little comedians in my pet profile. I love every dog and their personalities and being around a variety of them is more than a privilege for me! I currently do NOT live with my 3 dogs (kept at my parents house, as i bought another house in lantana with my brother) i will be working 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off at an oil rig in a few months, though my brother who lives with me (also a rover pet care worker) will be at the house 24/7. we both share the same policies and expectations for eachother when it comes to pet care and overnight sitting. my main rule with new dogs and animals in general is patience, empathy and logical solutions. i really don't like the whole getting mad at dogs thing so I tend to use this rule when training and/or sitting dogs as a way to prioritize both me & the pups comfort as well as to set a stable pattern of expected behavior both from me and the pup. I have a built in dog bath in my house as well as a large (ish) room dedicated to them having a place to walk around, eat, play and lay down when i'm not there, the room is also gated.

Smoke definitely loved the extra attention, and even Salem—who can be a little standoffish—was well taken care of. You can really tell Sophie genuinely loves animals and puts in the effort to make them feel comfortable.
