“Karina has been absolutely amazing and has saved me many times. I have a busy schedule and I travel a lot for work. She has helped me in a pinch with a smile on her face! My pets adore her and I think the world of her.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds since childhood from fish to reptiles, cats and dogs, and even horses. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for pets with different needs, personalities, and energy levels. I’m currently in the process of becoming a certified service animal trainer, which has given me advanced skills in handling, training, and understanding animal behavior. Along the way, I’ve also completed multiple animal care courses that taught me best practices in safety, health, and enrichment. I’m here to not only grow my resume but to show love to all the animals I take care of and be their new friend 🐶🐱 I’m usually available for any time/day of the week. I am unable to do over nights and boarding. I can stay with your pet up to 1 hour a day The first thing I do when entering a home is check that everything looks safe and normal since the time you left, doors secure, no hazards on the floor, and your pets are comfortable. I strictly follow your preferences and routines, because I know consistency helps pets feel secure. If one pet requires a different routine care than the other, I make sure each one gets the attention they need. I’ll keep you updated so you always know how things are going
“Our experience with Wendy was above & beyond everything I expected. We’ve never utilized dog walking services thru Rover before- just overnight boarding. Wendy is exponentially better than neighborhood kids we’ve had in the past. She took detailed notes during our meet & greet to ensure every detail was covered. She was on time every single day. Hot, sunny, humid weather? Nothing phases her. Our pup got to explore more of our neighborhood than she ever did with us. Wendy was simply amazing - one of our best experiences with Rover and we will absolutely be using her again. Our husky fell in love with her too!”

About: I’ve been pet and babysitting for 6 years, and have had my own pets basically my entire life. I’m a student at the University of North Texas and I love being active and caring for animals, and I would love to care for yours! I can’t wait to meet and work with you and your babies! As a college student, I have a lot of free time between classes and on the weekends, and I am always looking for work. I’ve been doing Rover for a several months now, and I can’t wait to continue now that I’m back at school!! I have a car and am very active, so I am perfectly happy taking your dogs on walks or running around with them outside. I am very good at following even the most specific care schedules!!
“Great with my 80 lb, strong willed boy! Friendly and puppy comes home happy and worn out. Everything I could ask for! Will hire Richard again for sure. So glad we got connected with him!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 18. I volunteered at a vet, raised a pit bull who lived to be almost 16. I currently have 5 dogs, 2 Guinea pigs, and a Flemish Giant Rabbit. I have handled senior care, have handled shots on dogs, and aggressive animals. I am just looking for extra money to help my family. I have so much love to give to animals and just want to provide that for other animals while their parents are gone. I currently have a full time, remote job. My job is very flexible so I am able to take breaks to love on other animals . I currently take care of our 8 animals I truly believe in that all animals just need love, attention, and someone who will play with them. I will provide care in your own home. We will go on walks, play in the yard, have treats, hugs, play fetch, and just provide the attention that they long for.
About: I’ve been petsitting for my friends and neighbours since I was 12, including administering medication, cleaning messes, housekeeping, and most all other common tasks and chores. If there’s a task you need of me that I don’t have experience in, I’d be glad to learn. As of right now I’m still in school, but after graduation (end of May, roughly) I’ll be available nearly 24/7. It’ll be ideal for me not to be scheduled for boarding on Fridays, but I will, of course, if your schedule calls for it! I absolutely value the trust of my clients and the safety of their pets, and will always do everything I can for them to feel they can leave their home and the pets inside it safe and secure with me.
“Victoria is wonderful with our pups and communicates very well! We love knowing that the pups will have a visit from her during the day, and the pups love it too!”

About: Leaving your beloved pet with someone is never easy but you can rest assured they will be in great hands and very well taken care of with our family! We've taken care of all types of animals (young and old/big and small). Family and friends have relied on me for years to watch, feed, walk, bathe and cuddle their animals when they are away. We have two boys (age 13 and 9) that are amazing with all animals and will give your pet lots of love and attention during their stay. Our most recent dog was 14 years old and sick for quite some time which required extra senior pup care and attention. Currently we do not have a dog of our own but have turtles, a tree frog and a chameleon (all in enclosures). My number one priority is not only that your dog is safe and happy but also that you have a stress free time away knowing they feel at home in our home. Both my kids are in school full time so I'd be happy to help on weekdays for walking services, drop ins or doggy day care. Weekends will be available on a case by case basis unless obviously it's for boarding services. If dropping your pet at my home, I have a fenced yard and a wonderful walking trail in my neighborhood for outdoor exercise for your pet.
“So appreciate his patience and reliability! One of my fur babies is a cranky old man and the other is SUPER hyper..... THANK YOU for continuing to care for both!!!! Quality care is imperative and my pups are in good hands!!!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have spent a lot of my life caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m currently the proud dog mom to a Great Dane, an Aussiedoodle, and a Cockapoo! I’ve always had a huge love for dogs, and you’ll almost always find one of my babies right by my side! Whether it’s walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care, and I would be honored to give your special babies the same love, attention, and care that I give mine every single day. I work full-time in a remote/hybrid position, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate many pet care needs throughout the week. I’m typically available before work, in the evenings, and have open availability on weekends. Midday visits and walks may also be available depending on the location and scheduling. If you’re unsure whether your requested time will work, feel free to reach out! I’ll always do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priority. I know that every pet has their own routine and personality, and I’ll take the time to learn what makes them feel most comfortable. Whether we’re out for a walk or enjoying a drop-in visit, I’ll treat your home with respect and your pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m happy to follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), favorite playtime routes, and any special requests. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your fur babies are in caring and dependable hands while you’re away.

Currently I work part time as a nanny (Thursdays & Fridays 7am-6pm, Sundays 8am-1PM). Outside of this, these are my only commitments. I have lots of availability to house sit, dog walk and pet sit! In terms of experience, I have 8 years of professional experience dog walking and pet sitting. Many times when I nanny, I am helping take care of pets as well, including various breeds of dogs, bunnies and even exotic animals such as reptiles (frogs, lizards, etc.) I am a true animal lover, and first began caring for other’s pets at the age of 10. About: Hi Y'all, We are Meranda and Josh !! We WANT ALL THE FURRBABIES!!! We have 4 pooches of our own! All of which we have raised from puppies and are sweet and gentle. We have a 7 year old husky named Jager who is so sweet and gentle as well as the head of my lil pack. He is smart and obedient. He is friendly from strangers to puppies alike. He has been the "Father Figure" to our other pups. Obedience, non-aggressive, affectionate are the qualities he has passed on to his siblings. Next up is Bosley. He is a pitbull. The reputation of his breed is completely eliminated upon first impression with him. While he appears to be the strongest, most in-charge of the pack, he is the most submissive and kind. He is afraid of thunderstorms, loud noises, and demands to be cuddled on a daily basis. Koko is actually Bosley's cousin. She has all of the wonderful attributes Bosley does as far as being submissive and kind, but she isn't afraid of thunderstorms and loud noises. Her first response toward other dogs is to be the greeter. She longs to have puppies of her own and that is expressed in her loving, caring nature shown in her love for new friends--especially submissive ones. She has never met a stranger. Last is Whiskey. She is our puppy--An 8 month Belgian German Shepherd. She is playful and fun as any puppy should be. She is a social butterfly. She is still in training and doing great! She is smart as can be and her active instincts make her a very playful companion. She is the "Life of the Party" most of the time. Completely non-aggressive. 100% play, fun and games. Our dogs get all of our attention. They are our children. All of our dogs are kennel trained, but all of them are accustomed to being spoiled one-on-one including sleeping with us as needed when they are needy or scared. Your pup would be no different depending on his/her needs. If we could home all the world's needful dogs we would! If you are looking to socialize your pup in a loving, safe, non-aggressive environment with a variety of dogs then we are your Rover family!

- 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
