About: I've been an animal lover and owner my entire life, there's only a very short time I've ever not had a dog. I've raised puppies, fostered dogs, including pregnant and nursing mamas. My dog Capy started out as just a foster when she was pregnant, I helped her whelp and fostered her until all her pups were adopted, and then she became our foster failure and joined our family. I’ve also cared for my aging dogs in their senior years. I also have had birds, parakeets and cockatiels, and I’m also comfortable caring for small mammals and reptiles. There’s nothing I won’t do for any animal! I'm a stay at home mom to a school aged child and a toddler. My schedule is very open and flexible for whatever is needed. I have childcare available to me so I’m not taking my kids with me while I work. I am allergic to cats, so I cannot visit homes with them. I will feed, water, play, and give lots of affection to your dog while visiting, or just let them in and out if they don't like non family members. I will freshen water and do whatever else is needed.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life big, small, tiny it doesn’t matter. I’ve taken care of puppies all the way up to senior dogs, I’m able to deliver any special medication or treatment they may need. I currently work 9-5 remote, my job is more task based so I really can take the furry friends on walks or give them attention at any point in the day. I cater the needs to every animal in specific. If they’re super energetic we can take long walks and I am always in control ensuring the safety of your pet. I give cats space if they need it or am ready to give head scratches at any moments notice.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 18. I volunteered at a vet, raised a pit bull who lived to be almost 16. I currently have 5 dogs, 2 Guinea pigs, and a Flemish Giant Rabbit. I have handled senior care, have handled shots on dogs, and aggressive animals. I am just looking for extra money to help my family. I have so much love to give to animals and just want to provide that for other animals while their parents are gone. I currently have a full time, remote job. My job is very flexible so I am able to take breaks to love on other animals . I currently take care of our 8 animals I truly believe in that all animals just need love, attention, and someone who will play with them. I will provide care in your own home. We will go on walks, play in the yard, have treats, hugs, play fetch, and just provide the attention that they long for.

My goal is to create a safe, loving, and reliable environment where pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was very young. I grew up with 3 big dogs. I would feed, water, walk and play with them everyday. Since they’ve gotten older I can’t play with them as much, but I walk them all the time. I adopted a puppy in 2022. He has been a challenge but I wouldn’t change him for the world. I’m currently working part-time but your pets are my number one priority. Their needs come before my job. I stay with the dogs most of the day. I go home for about an hour or two then come straight back. As soon as I get there I let them outside to go to the bathroom, and depending on the time I either play with them or I feed and water them.
About: I have been a dog owner my entire 43 years of life. In my recent separation my ex kept the dogs and I’m not at a point where I am certain I could afford the care of one should they need any unexpected care and cost in the near future. I absolutely love dogs & cats more then what’s probably considered normal, but I’ve been that way all my life and just connect with animals off all shapes, sizes, and breeds. My last Dog who currently lives with my ex is a White German Shepard and the 2 of us went through training together from 3 months to about 1 years old. My other dog that lives with him is a Lab/Pit mix. She has had chronic ear infections her whole life and now has diabetes. I am educated in minor training and many medical necessities including insulin injection. I currently own my own online boutique reselling clothes and accessories for women & kids as well as a wide assortment of home decor items and work from home. I’m here when you and your best friend need me! I’ll treat your pet as I treat my own. With love, kindness, and rewards when needed. I’m stern with them only when absolutely necessary to remind them I’m in charge while in my care. Physical discipline.is never used and unacceptable for any reason in my home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Highland Village
London was able to accommodate my baby last minute and during the snow. Both myself and husband were under the weather and she was quick to respond and take our pup out for a long over due walk. He came back a new man :). Thanks London we really appreciated the help.

We are very happy with Emily! She’s very sweet and communicative. She also cares for our dogs like her own and keeps them well taken care of 😊 I will say this is the best decision for our home to have a dog sitter/walker help us while we are away at work. It’s brought so much peace of mind to me and my husband.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
