Caitlyn did very good with Oreo! It was our first time trying to see if he’d do good with a dog walker and with no fault to Caitlyn, he did not. He was shy and very scared and not a fan of the idea. However, Caitlyn tried very hard to slowly work with him and kept me updated on the experience. I found it best to just leave him be as it was just a trial run and it helped me realize it is not for him! But I am very thankful for Caitlyn’s patience and kindness towards him and would recommend her for your pet!! She really cares about the animals she is working with.

About: I've been responsible for an animal since I turned old enough to fill up a bowl of kibble. My mom is a veterinarian and taught me how to make sure critters of all kinds were well cared for. Im currently continuing my education part-time, mornings from 9am to 2pm. Before and after class I try to be as active as possible, and it would be a pleasure to fit your pet's care into that time! I can provide either efficient in/out cleaning and feeding, or spend more quality time with your pet to ensure they're exercised and happy while youre away. For walking service, I'll happily plan a route that fits your pet's stamina and breed, or you can suggest one that you regularly follow!

About: Hi! I’m Vincent, a lifelong dog lover and proud dog dad to two dogs. One is 14 and the other is 7. Caring for them every day has taught me how important consistency, patience, and attention to detail are when it comes to keeping pets happy and comfortable. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, administering basic medications if needed, and making sure each dog gets the attention they deserve. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to make them feel safe and at home while you’re away. I’m dependable, organized, and treat every dog as if they were my own. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of love and attention. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing on the couch, I’m happy to match their routine and make their stay as stress-free as possible I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care before and after work, as well as on evenings and weekends. Caring for my own two dogs is already part of my daily routine, so adding walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention for your pet fits naturally into my day. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and take the time to learn their routine, feeding schedule, and any special needs before each stay. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and shared with my two friendly small dogs who are used to being around other pets. I supervise introductions carefully and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and regular updates while you’re away.

About: I’ve owned pets my whole life, I fostered 12 puppies a couple years ago and have always had at least 3 dogs. My dream career is to be a Veterinarian and own a non-profit animal rescue. My friends have trusted me to come by and care of their dogs when away on vacation, but this would be my first time pet-sitting for Rover! SIDE NOTE (PLEASE READ): I will not be walking any dogs in 95+ degree weather without some sort of protection for their little paws. Protection and comfort is top priority!! I wish I had more photos but I tend to focus more on the animals than to get my phone out and take photos prior to Rover so my collection is small but i’ll be adding to it!) I do have a part-time job but it’s very flexible, and I will be able to adjust to your needs and personal schedules. I can assure any potential pet owners who are interested in my care for your dog or cat that they will be prioritized. I will not be doing any pet-sitting at my own house because I do own a reactive dog and one who’s a bit older, but they have a fenced yard with water accessible 24/7, home-cooked rice and chicken twice a week (they’re spoiled) a friends ranch nearby they go to for running and walks, and a toy box with all the toys they could dream of.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have grown up with pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities! Over the years, I’ve had a poodle, dachshund, Lab/Pit mix, Chihuahua, cat, hamster, and guinea pig, so I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of furry friends. I’ve also dog sat many times over the years and genuinely love getting to know each pet and their unique personality. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, giving lots of attention, or just keeping them company, I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own. They really are a (wo)man’s best friend! 🐾 I recently moved to the Dallas area and am currently searching for a full-time job, which means my schedule is very flexible right now! I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or just keeping your pets company while you’re away. I’d love to fill some of my extra time with furry friends while I’m on the job hunt! I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I’m happy to follow whatever makes your furry friend feel most at home! In your home, I’ll stick closely to their normal schedule for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any other instructions you leave. Most importantly, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, love, and company while you’re away — plus lots of updates and pictures so you know they’re happy and well cared for!

I currently just moved back to the Dallas area and looking to fill my days loving and caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have a questionnaire to be filled out to know about your routine. About: I have over 10 years of professional experience working in dog training, pet grooming, and pet boarding. I believe every pet has a specific set of needs, which is why I never stop learning about pets. I am able to adapt in any situation and make your pets my top priority! I am available almost all day to spend time with your babies. I am currently working part time a few days a week, but I am otherwise available to spend my time with your babies. I can easily crate dogs if needed. I always do a walk around the yard before the dogs go outside to make sure that there are no holes in the fence or the gate is open just to eliminate any possibility that an animal can escape the backyard.

About: What sets me apart is my combination of hands on experience, patience, and a genuine commitment to understanding each pet’s individual needs. I’ve worked with a wide range of animals, including energetic puppies who need structure and training, as well as senior pets who require gentler, slower-paced care and close attention to comfort and mobility. I’m confident handling feeding routines, administering basic medications, and managing pets with anxiety or special quirks. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, create a calm environment, and communicate consistently with owners so they feel fully at ease while they’re away. Whether it’s reinforcing positive training for puppies, offering mobility support and extra patience for seniors, or giving plenty of love and playtime to pets of any age, I’m committed to providing reliable, compassionate care that feels like an extension of your own home. For all pet care needs a child will be with me at all times. Your dogs MUST be child friendly. For dog sitting requests in the home, I do not stay the night. If you are nearby to Denton, TX, I can do 3-4 visits drop by daily. Father away will be 1-2 times for a drop by visit. Please be aware before booking a house sitting request. Pet care is a natural part of my routine, and I build my schedule around providing consistent attention and support. I’m used to planning my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I keep a flexible schedule so I can accommodate pets who need mid-day visits or a little extra time. Throughout the week, I make sure each pet gets the right balance of exercise, companionship, and calm downtime. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in. It is something I prioritize and enjoy as part of my everyday rhythm especially having 3 dogs of my own! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding instructions, walk schedules, and training preferences exactly as given. I also make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and comfortable! I do that by having refreshing water, tidying up food areas, and giving plenty of playtime or quiet time depending on what the pet needs. I stay attentive to their behavior and well-being. I also send regular updates so their owners feel confident and connected. When caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm and welcoming space that’s pet-friendly and supervised. Having three dogs of my own plus accommodating for others will be fun! I provide structured play, exercise, and rest. I make sure pets feel secure, whether that means cozy spots to relax or engaging activities to burn energy. I treat every pet like part of the family by being patient, promoting safety, and with lots of love and consistency. For all pet care needs a child will be with me at all times. About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs in size and breed over the years from family and friends, and had 3 of my own and a couple cats as well. We spend time with them walking and playing, providing love and care and treats and of course fun play time! I’ve had my own dogs from puppies to seniors and taught them basic skills, and took them to training for other needs. Our kids have grown up with our dogs and love them basically as their own siblings. I am home almost full time and can care for your animals 7 days a week. During the school year I work two days a week at a preschool, and will have activities to work around for my children once they start up again. However, there is availability everyday in my schedule for your needs. I have a fenced yard and a doggy door to the backyard for any boarding. We have a fenced in area for a dog specific zone for potty breaks, and open the rest of the yard for running around and exercise to keep it clean of dog mess. Working only two days a week part time will allow me to check in at your home frequently, and can find the right time and schedule around those two days hopefully. I have 2 dogs of my own that are friendly to other pets as well. They can sometimes need a minute to warm up (my Great Dane can be skiddish and defensive with smaller dogs - but will warm up, she is a big baby) and then they are incredibly playful!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
