“Had a very last minute booking and Madison was very flexible and awesome in coordinating everything. She was great with my pup Milo and was awesome with her communication. Will be booking again for sure!”

About: My family and I currently have two pups( 13 years old + an 8 month old) who we walk daily and love on constantly. The eldest(Samson) has been spoiled and receives every meal accompanied by some sort of treat to get the process going but he is extremely friendly and well behaved. Our newest (Pepper) eats everything and wants to play always, which means we give her lots of walks and play time outside. Samson is getting older and over the years we have had to have him on medication or been very watchful if he was acting out of character or lethargic. This has trained my eyes to just be ever present when caring for pets and to always treat them as family worthy of our attention and love. I've been tasked with sporadically pet sitting my girlfriends cats and have had no issues ever. Added experience pet sitting for my friend and his many German Shepherds. Finally I work as a Personal Trainer and part time unofficial care giver to my 94 year old Grandfather, my patience is unmatched. I currently work as an independent Personal Trainer + Unofficial care giver. My schedule tends to be flexible but staying in steady communication with clients is always front of mind so as to avoid conflicting scheduling. My pets are held in a higher regard than a fair amount of people I meet. They simply mean so much to my family and I. We stress over their eating habits, exercise levels, sleep schedules etc etc. Every pet I care for receives that same family-like attention and compassion, guaranteed.
About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs in size and breed over the years from family and friends, and had 3 of my own and a couple cats as well. We spend time with them walking and playing, providing love and care and treats and of course fun play time! I’ve had my own dogs from puppies to seniors and taught them basic skills, and took them to training for other needs. Our kids have grown up with our dogs and love them basically as their own siblings. I am home almost full time and can care for your animals 7 days a week. During the school year I work two days a week at a preschool, and will have activities to work around for my children once they start up again. However, there is availability everyday in my schedule for your needs. I have a fenced yard and a doggy door to the backyard for any boarding. We have a fenced in area for a dog specific zone for potty breaks, and open the rest of the yard for running around and exercise to keep it clean of dog mess. Working only two days a week part time will allow me to check in at your home frequently, and can find the right time and schedule around those two days hopefully. I have 2 dogs of my own that are friendly to other pets as well. They can sometimes need a minute to warm up (my Great Dane can be skiddish and defensive with smaller dogs - but will warm up, she is a big baby) and then they are incredibly playful!
About: I've have much experience pet/house sitting. I'm aware that each pet has their own personality and specific needs, and I am ready to accommodate them! I currently work part time in the afternoon. I'm available in the mornings and late afternoon. My work schedule is flexible, so if needed I can adjust to meet my customers needs! I tailor care to each pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide safe, engaging walks, consistent feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. During house sitting, I'll be sure to clean any and all messes, and ensure whatever rules you have stay enforced. I follow all instructions and send regular updates and photos so you feel confident your pet is in great hands.
About: What sets me apart is my combination of hands on experience, patience, and a genuine commitment to understanding each pet’s individual needs. I’ve worked with a wide range of animals, including energetic puppies who need structure and training, as well as senior pets who require gentler, slower-paced care and close attention to comfort and mobility. I’m confident handling feeding routines, administering basic medications, and managing pets with anxiety or special quirks. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, create a calm environment, and communicate consistently with owners so they feel fully at ease while they’re away. Whether it’s reinforcing positive training for puppies, offering mobility support and extra patience for seniors, or giving plenty of love and playtime to pets of any age, I’m committed to providing reliable, compassionate care that feels like an extension of your own home. For all pet care needs a child will be with me at all times. Your dogs MUST be child friendly. For dog sitting requests in the home, I do not stay the night. If you are nearby to Denton, TX, I can do 3-4 visits drop by daily. Father away will be 1-2 times for a drop by visit. Please be aware before booking a house sitting request. Pet care is a natural part of my routine, and I build my schedule around providing consistent attention and support. I’m used to planning my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I keep a flexible schedule so I can accommodate pets who need mid-day visits or a little extra time. Throughout the week, I make sure each pet gets the right balance of exercise, companionship, and calm downtime. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in. It is something I prioritize and enjoy as part of my everyday rhythm especially having 3 dogs of my own! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding instructions, walk schedules, and training preferences exactly as given. I also make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and comfortable! I do that by having refreshing water, tidying up food areas, and giving plenty of playtime or quiet time depending on what the pet needs. I stay attentive to their behavior and well-being. I also send regular updates so their owners feel confident and connected. When caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm and welcoming space that’s pet-friendly and supervised. Having three dogs of my own plus accommodating for others will be fun! I provide structured play, exercise, and rest. I make sure pets feel secure, whether that means cozy spots to relax or engaging activities to burn energy. I treat every pet like part of the family by being patient, promoting safety, and with lots of love and consistency.

“Caitlyn did very good with Oreo! It was our first time trying to see if he’d do good with a dog walker and with no fault to Caitlyn, he did not. He was shy and very scared and not a fan of the idea. However, Caitlyn tried very hard to slowly work with him and kept me updated on the experience. I found it best to just leave him be as it was just a trial run and it helped me realize it is not for him! But I am very thankful for Caitlyn’s patience and kindness towards him and would recommend her for your pet!! She really cares about the animals she is working with.”

About: I've had pet dogs my entire life, from puppies all the way to the stubborn old dog living with me now! I have also volunteered at animal shelters for a total of five years, where I learned a lot about how to care for various ages and breeds of dogs. Additionally, my current dog is a senior and is partially blind and deaf, so I am experienced in caring for older dogs who may have special needs. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I have a very flexible schedule! I can definitely accommodate any walks or potty breaks your pup might need, and I can also be home if your pup has separation anxiety or needs a closer eye kept on them. I have a fenced yard and two children with lots of energy to keep your pup entertained! My neighborhood has plenty of walking trails, as well as a dog park. I do have a dog in my home, as well; he is a senior and very laid-back and calm. So we are also happy to hang out with lower energy dogs who might just enjoy snuggles and lots of naps.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oak Point
Ashley is very good with dogs and it didn't take more than a second to see Gunner's positive and friendly reaction when he met her. Your pet will be taken good care of from this Rover provider!! Ashley also was a last minute substitution due to my May 4th surgery being bumped up sooner to April 27th, and another Rover provider unable to be in town April 27-28. We really appreciate Ashley for being there for us this week!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
