“Dana and her family took exceptional care of our senior Yorky. They treated him as if he were their own, providing him with love and attention. Dana also sent text updates and pictures, which gave us peace of mind. We would definitely rebook her again.”

“Such a great experience! Our pup was clearly loved and cared for, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. Alpana is kind, professional, and genuinely passionate about animals. We’ll definitely be coming back.”

“Terry spoils my dog in all the right ways. She LOVES staying with him, and I love the peace of mind I get knowing he has taken such good care of my fur baby every time I book with him. The photos he takes while I am out of town are so good, I would think I have booked a professional photographer! Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart is my combination of hands on experience, patience, and a genuine commitment to understanding each pet’s individual needs. I’ve worked with a wide range of animals, including energetic puppies who need structure and training, as well as senior pets who require gentler, slower-paced care and close attention to comfort and mobility. I’m confident handling feeding routines, administering basic medications, and managing pets with anxiety or special quirks. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, create a calm environment, and communicate consistently with owners so they feel fully at ease while they’re away. Whether it’s reinforcing positive training for puppies, offering mobility support and extra patience for seniors, or giving plenty of love and playtime to pets of any age, I’m committed to providing reliable, compassionate care that feels like an extension of your own home. For all pet care needs a child will be with me at all times. Your dogs MUST be child friendly. For dog sitting requests in the home, I do not stay the night. If you are nearby to Denton, TX, I can do 3-4 visits drop by daily. Father away will be 1-2 times for a drop by visit. Please be aware before booking a house sitting request. Pet care is a natural part of my routine, and I build my schedule around providing consistent attention and support. I’m used to planning my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I keep a flexible schedule so I can accommodate pets who need mid-day visits or a little extra time. Throughout the week, I make sure each pet gets the right balance of exercise, companionship, and calm downtime. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in. It is something I prioritize and enjoy as part of my everyday rhythm especially having 3 dogs of my own! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding instructions, walk schedules, and training preferences exactly as given. I also make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and comfortable! I do that by having refreshing water, tidying up food areas, and giving plenty of playtime or quiet time depending on what the pet needs. I stay attentive to their behavior and well-being. I also send regular updates so their owners feel confident and connected. When caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm and welcoming space that’s pet-friendly and supervised. Having three dogs of my own plus accommodating for others will be fun! I provide structured play, exercise, and rest. I make sure pets feel secure, whether that means cozy spots to relax or engaging activities to burn energy. I treat every pet like part of the family by being patient, promoting safety, and with lots of love and consistency. For all pet care needs a child will be with me at all times. “Nancy and her family an excellent! They make my little dog feel like a part of their family and I know it because when we get there to drop him off he’s happy to see them and enjoys his time. It’s invaluable having the peace of mind knowing that he’s safe and well cared for and a happy dog in her home.”

“Angela was great about sending pictures of our dog through out her 1 week stay over Christmas. Her home is very clean and cozy and a great yard for small dogs. I appreciated that she only takes one family at a time and did a meet and great prior to our stay to make sure the dogs got along. No issues.”

“Was greeted warmly by Jessica. Ronan immediately felt comfortable. They communicate often and well. Can recommend with 100% confidence that your pet will be well cared for.”

“So incredibly fortunate to have found Andreia and her family! Our precious fur baby, Summer had the time of her life. So much so that we had to warn Andreia not to make Summer love her stay too much because we were worried she wouldn't want to come home anymore. We had a stress free 2-week vacation, secure and confident that she was well taken care of. Andreia and her family loved Summer like their own. We had daily updates and Andreia is very responsive. We couldn't be happier. We will definitely not hesitate to leave Summer with them again. Thank you, Andreia. Thank you to your 2 wonderful boys and your own fur baby and kitty.”

“Great pup sitters! My dogs came back so happy and overjoyed. Yvette gave me great updates to overcome some of my worries leaving them behind. You can tell that she and her husband really love dogs and they were in great hands! I would definitely recommend!”

“Marisa and James were absolutely amazing with my dog, Jax! From the start, communication was great. They sent regular updates and photos, which made me feel totally at ease while I was away. We had a wonderful experience. Sruthi took excellent care of our dog for over two plus weeks and kept us updated regularly with photos and messages. Our dog came back happy, healthy, and well cared for. Sruthi was kind, reliable, and clearly love animals. We felt completely at ease while we were away and would definitely trust them again. Highly recommended!

Lauren and Holden were fantastic! We had never left our one year old lab before, so we were a little nervous, but they immediately put us at ease. Communication was excellent, and they kept us updated with pictures throughout the week, which meant so much to us. Max clearly had an amazing time and was so well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you again, Lauren and Holden. We’ll definitely be using you again!

Clare was amazing! She took care of our dog for a little over a week. She sent pictures of Zoey everyday playing outside and looking great. Clare’s was extremely communicative as well. Highly recommend Clare and will definitely use her again when we need her. Thanks, Clare!

They took such wonderful care of our 2 dogs! We don’t leave our dogs often, but we would 100% rebook with them in the future. We received multiple pics a day and they updated us on how they were doing and what activities they were up to. They treated our pups like they were family.

Mocha had an amazing time with Nikolas and his family! He stayed with them for 3 weeks which is the longest we’ve ever left him and he looked very happy throughout his stay! They took great care of Mocha, sent regular updates and pics through the day. Mocha enjoyed his daily frisbee time and of course the treats! Highly recommend Nikolas and his family!

Christy took amazing care of my dog Max while he was boarding with her. From the start, she was kind, communicative, and made me feel completely at ease leaving Max in her care. She treated him like her own, giving him plenty of attention, love, and comfort. I really appreciated the updates and knowing Max was happy and well cared for in a home environment. When I picked him up, he was relaxed, content, and clearly had a great stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Max board with Christy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for loving, reliable care for their dog.

Kelly and her husband Wayne took great care of our Mini Dachshund, Willow. They had a clean and well kept home, so she couldn’t get into too much trouble. They were accommodating and did an amazing job watching and playing with her. We got frequent updates and pictures, so we always knew how she was doing. They enjoyed the company of Willow so it felt like leaving her with family. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an attentive dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
