Pet care fits easily into my routine because I work less than 5 hours a day Monday through Wednesday, which allows me to be home with pets or check on them frequently throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, and I am available all days of the week for pet sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and care while their owners are away. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I am experienced with crate-trained dogs and can use crates when needed. I also have experience administering medications and following special care instructions. I have friendly, well-socialized dogs that enjoy playing with others, but I can easily keep pets separated if an owner prefers. I treat every pet like my own and work hard to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while in my care.

About: I’ve always had cats and dogs (and 9 other species) in my home, and I truly love all the fur babies in the whole wide world! Your pets are family, and I treat them that way. I’m attentive, organized, and detail-oriented (from my teaching background). I will provide expert, dependable care so your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, giving meds, and helping pets who have special needs. I’m also big on communication (and sending pictures) so you have peace of mind while you’re away. My home is fun, loving, and full of attention. I work from home and enjoy having the extra company around the house. I have a fenced back yard and a big playful bernadoodle that loves to have friends over. (My dog can be relocated if your animals do not get along with others.) We live around a lake with plenty of great walking trails and big fenced in properties, lots of places to get good fresh air around us. Typically I take my dog somewhere to play of walk in the mornings, relax and get some work done until the afternoon, then try to get another walk in. We have lots of toys to play with and do lick mats and scent training games if weather is yucky.

Mocha had an amazing time with Nikolas and his family! He stayed with them for 3 weeks which is the longest we’ve ever left him and he looked very happy throughout his stay!
