“Alpana was excellent in taking care of spot for 2 weeks and she kept us updating daily about Spot whereabouts and I definitely recommend others and she is a go to person for future needs too. Thanks Alpana and family for taking care of my Spot”

“We had a wonderful experience, I highly recommend this family for your boarding needs. Our Sam was well cared for and had a great time. He's a schnauzer so he has a very sensitive stomach. I know they carefully followed his eating plan, because since we picked him up he hasn't had a single problem. The two children absolutely adored him and he got lots of love and attention. Kathryn's precious daughter even sent him home with a handmade card. Our daughter lives in the area, so if Kathryn is available, she and her family will be our boarder for Sam from now on. I'm so thankful we found her!”

“Achilles loves going to spend time with Sruthi! He gets loads of exercise and is very content when he gets home. I really appreciate getting consistent photo and video updates of what Achilles is up to. Sruthi is always our first choice!”

“Ziegen had a great time this past weekend while I was out of town! Julie sent pictures daily. I feel like this is a better setting for him than a larger boarding place. There were a couple of other dogs there. They were laid back and seemed to get along well with Ziegen. He'll definitely be back!”

“Samantha was great! I highly recommend her services. She was very accommodating and gave me peace of mind amid the last-minute changes caused by a flight delay. She was great with Teddy!”

“Kristen is a dream and so very caring & thoughtful. She learnt that it was Zara's birthday and made it super memorable for her. Zara has never come back happier from a boarding facility in 8 years!”

“Our pet Toby has always had very good experience with them. He has stayed for a couple of hours to slowly staying an entire day and now happily stayed over night. They always send us pictures and keep us posted about our pet. They also let us know of the other pets that would be there at the time. I would definitely recommend Leslie and Jonathan!”

“Sherry went above and beyond my expectations. In addition to exercising, giving meds, and loving on him, she sent me pictures everyday showing him completely relaxed in her home. He was treated like a little king! 10/10 recommend”

“As a dog owner, you can tell who are the true dog lovers—Andrew and Joy took care of our fur baby with so much love. They cheer for his potty break in the storm 🥹; they let him hang out with friends and be quiet if he wants to. Strongly recommend!!!”

“Marie and her family were kind and caring with our Cocker Spaniel. Marie sent happy Daisy pictures often and even gave me a Polaroid to keep. No issues with Daisy eating or taking her meds under Marie's watch. We would highly recommend her.”

“If you have pets that are really family members, you know that their care is of utmost importance. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I found Andrea! My two have not had a chance to socialize much and one has trust issues with people but from the time they went into the house, I could tell they would settle in. I hadn’t even gotten home and had pictures of their stay and received many more throughout their stay. Cadi made lots of friends and both must have had a great time since they slept all the way home. Thank you for taking care of my fur kids. This will be their home away from home.”

“I would definitely trust Silvana & Diego Q. again for taking care of my dog. My puppy was demanding and they made sure that she is well taken care of and provides me with regular updates while Nami was with them. I can really see their love towards dogs.”

“Naga took such wonderful care of our Border Collie, Denver, while we were away for over two weeks. Throughout our trip, Naga regularly sent photos and videos, and in every single one, Denver looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Seeing how comfortable and content he was gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation without worrying about him. It's clear that Naga genuinely loves and understands dogs, and we are so grateful for the attention, care, and affection Denver received during his stay. We would absolutely trust Naga with Denver again, and the next time we travel, Naga will be the first person we contact. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Bethany was incredibly kind and generous in her care of our fur baby while we were traveling over the holiday. She provided regular updates throughout. She was extremely dependable and responsive when we had questions. Our Sophie was extremely happy when we picked her up…. She’d clearly bonded with Bethany and felt very comfortable in her home. Thank you Bethany! We sincerely appreciate your help.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Little Elm
Clare was absolutely amazing with our dog, Molly! She originally watched her for four days, and when our travel plans changed, she was so accommodating and let us extend Molly’s stay by another two days. While we were away, Molly ended up getting sick with diarrhea, and Clare went above and beyond in caring for her. She cooked food to help settle her stomach, gave her a bath, and even washed all of her bedding and belongings before we picked her up. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Molly was in such compassionate and capable hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Clare truly treated Molly like one of her own, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she did. We will absolutely be booking with her again in the future. Highly recommend!

Maggi was exceptionally cared for during her visit with Donovan and Mackenzie :) We received many adorable photo updates, and the best communication! Upon arrival to pick her up, she seemed reluctant to leave! We will most definitely reach out in the future if we need a wonderful family to care for her, especially one that made Maggi feel so at home and a part of. Thank you very much!

We had our second sitting with Amanda & Prajwal during a family vacation and I can't say enough good things. Good communication and my pup was happy as can be playing with his buddies. Thanks again for taking great care of him. As I said the first time, it's great to have the piece of mind that your dog will be taken care.

Mocha had an amazing time with Nikolas and his family! He stayed with them for 3 weeks which is the longest we’ve ever left him and he looked very happy throughout his stay! They took great care of Mocha, sent regular updates and pics through the day. Mocha enjoyed his daily frisbee time and of course the treats! Highly recommend Nikolas and his family!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
