“Mrs Kamaleswari V dog sit Mr Beethovan for me within a few days notification. Plus, she did a meet and greet prior to the actual date scheduled. I really appreciate her accepting the offer with a short notice. She welcomed him with open arms and he loved every minute of it. Beethovan is very clingy so glad she understands and accepted the challenge. He really enjoyed the love and will reschedule soon. She will provide pictures as well! Thanks Again”

“I’m so happy I found Angela! She really took such good care of my baby and I could tell he was comfortable and loved while I was away. When I picked him up he was happy, calm, and much less stressed than he’s been with other sitters or doggy daycares in the past. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Christopher was great! He was willing to accept my request last minute, and Axel had a great time. He kept him walked, engaged, and updated me throughout the stay. He was also very understanding and accommodating when I had to reschedule pickup due to an unforeseen situation. On top of that, he responded to messages very quickly. I’d definitely book with him again!”

“I recently left my puppy with Sonali Dey for boarding, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment I dropped my pup off, Sonali made me feel completely at ease. She clearly loves animals and treated my puppy with so much care, patience, and affection. Throughout the stay, she kept me updated with photos, videos, and messages, which meant the world to me. My puppy looked happy, relaxed, and completely at home. When I picked him up, he was playful, well-rested, and clearly had a great time. Sonali went above and beyond in every way—whether it was maintaining his routine, giving him plenty of playtime, or making sure he felt secure and loved. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely dedicated to the well-being of the pets she cares for. I highly recommend Sonali to anyone looking for reliable, loving, and professional pet boarding. I will definitely be trusting her with my puppy again! 🐾❤️”

“Samantha was great! I highly recommend her services. She was very accommodating and gave me peace of mind amid the last-minute changes caused by a flight delay. She was great with Teddy!”

“Our dogs had a great time with Debasish & Adrija! We met them in advance and our dogs felt very comfortable with them right away. They were very kind and helpful and gave great instructions to help our pups have the best stay. We got picture updates and help getting the dogs in and out. Very appreciative to them and would highly recommend them to others looking for nice people to take care of your pets while you are away.”

“What a GREAT experience!! Our two Boston terriers were spoiled rotten by the entire family for a week. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation because we weren’t worried about our dogs. They took excellent care of them - daily walks, lots of playtime, picture updates, and an abundance of hugs and cuddles! I highly recommend Michelle & Allen for any of your pet sitting needs! I know we will definitely use them again in the future!”

About: While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I have lifelong experience caring for animals and a deep love for dogs. I currently have a 5-year-old Goldendoodle who I care for daily, including walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. He has helped me learn patience, consistency, and how to understand a dog’s individual needs. I’ve also cared for a guinea pig and have been around dogs my entire life, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like family. I’m attentive, calm, and focused on making sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while in my care. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. I work full time from 7–4, so I’m available in the evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. I also have full availability on weekends, which allows me to provide extended care, boarding, and extra attention when needed. I’m committed to making sure pets are cared for consistently and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I provide a safe and caring environment for pets in my home. I have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and always follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, routines, and any special needs. I also have my own friendly dog, which can provide companionship if appropriate, helping visiting pets feel more comfortable and at ease. I prioritize safety, structure, and a calm environment so pets feel secure and well cared for at all times.
“We dropped Zoey off for 5 days and she could not have been happier. Yan and Kevin took great care of her. She played and got along with their Golden Retriever Daisy, like they were sisters. We will be boarding Zoey again this coming weekend at their house knowing that she is in great hands. Yan and Kevin sent lots of updates with pictures and videos to ease our minds. We would highly recommend anyone to use their service!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Little Elm
Maggi was exceptionally cared for during her visit with Donovan and Mackenzie :) We received many adorable photo updates, and the best communication! Upon arrival to pick her up, she seemed reluctant to leave! We will most definitely reach out in the future if we need a wonderful family to care for her, especially one that made Maggi feel so at home and a part of. Thank you very much!

We had our second sitting with Amanda & Prajwal during a family vacation and I can't say enough good things. Good communication and my pup was happy as can be playing with his buddies. Thanks again for taking great care of him. As I said the first time, it's great to have the piece of mind that your dog will be taken care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
