About: Growing up with my own childhood pups (Hunter Goldenpaws + Reno Ray), I learned firsthand the sheer joy and amount of responsibility that comes with caring for a pet. Those early experiences paved the way for my time at Camp Bow Wow in McKinney, Texas, where I dived headfirst into the world of professional pet care. I even curated their first ever "Doga in the Park" event that is now reoccurring! From puppy cuddles to senior snuggles, I've had the privilege of connecting with dogs of all ages and personalities. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my knack for understanding their individual needs. Whether it's going on a hot girl (or boy) walk or providing extra TLC for an older dog, I'm here to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, respected and right at home. Let's make some cute lil memories together! Mykah I'm currently working as a freelance marketing consultant and social media specialist so I have plenty of time to play/walk with your pup! I have a flexible set of hours, just send me a message! For clients preferring in-home care, I bring the same level of dedication and personalized service, ensuring their pet receives the utmost care and companionship right in the comfort of their own space. From regular walks to playtime and cuddles, I prioritize their well-being and happiness, making sure they feel loved and content throughout their stay. Your pet's comfort and security are my top priorities, and I'm committed to providing a nurturing environment that feels just like home.
“Elizabeth was a godsend on short notice to tend to our senior dogs with special care. We really appreciate the detailed report on our pets and we can tell she has a warm heart for animals. Thank you very much!”

About: I live in Little Elm with my family and two cats. Have had extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages through dog walking and sitting to make extra cash and as favors for friends/family. I’ve also had family dogs throughout my life. I also have experience with cats and am happy to care for them on home visits. Excited to meet new dogs and explore the city and lake on long walks! For those pups who aren’t into longer walks though I’m flexible and am happy to play games in my yard and sunbathe. I am a very responsible and experienced choice for your pets, and will be thrilled to hear from you and help in any way I can!

About: I’ve been dog sitting ever since I was in middle school. I am very familiar with watching dogs for long periods of time, along with staying at their homes. Giving medicine, bathing, and walking I am also very comfortable and familiar with. I am typically always free in the mornings, middle of the day, and flexible during evening hours. Then I am always free on the weekends. I have a cat and a dog both at home, so I am familiar with many services. Including, giving medicine, specially dietary needs, wound care, allergies, and maintaining cleanliness.
“Yan is amazing! She was so sweet and wonderful with our dogs. I got pics and updates and I could tell they were happy and well taken care of, especially because they’re known to be pouty when we leave. I allowed her to bring her boyfriend with her since they can be a handful at times, and the boys absolutely loved and adored the both of them! They had such a great time playing and getting love, pets, and attention. I’m very grateful to Yan for taking care of our pups while we were gone and I never had to worry about how they were doing! She went above and beyond to keep our house and dogs clean and in order. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Yan the next time we have to go out of town!”

About: Hello! My name is Kailey, and caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have grown up surrounded by dogs and have never lived without one. I currently have two dogs of my own, whom I have had since I was young. Spending time with and caring for dogs is one of my greatest passions. I believe they are incredibly loyal, loving companions who deserve patience, attention, and plenty of affection. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, companionship, or simply someone to keep them comfortable while you're away, I am committed to providing the highest level of care. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and will treat them with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own. About: While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I have lifelong experience caring for animals and a deep love for dogs. I currently have a 5-year-old Goldendoodle who I care for daily, including walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. He has helped me learn patience, consistency, and how to understand a dog’s individual needs. I’ve also cared for a guinea pig and have been around dogs my entire life, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like family. I’m attentive, calm, and focused on making sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while in my care. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. I work full time from 7–4, so I’m available in the evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. I also have full availability on weekends, which allows me to provide extended care, boarding, and extra attention when needed. I’m committed to making sure pets are cared for consistently and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I provide a safe and caring environment for pets in my home. I have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and always follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, routines, and any special needs. I also have my own friendly dog, which can provide companionship if appropriate, helping visiting pets feel more comfortable and at ease. I prioritize safety, structure, and a calm environment so pets feel secure and well cared for at all times.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Little Elm
Samantha and Sydney did an AMAZING job taking care of our two cats! This was our first time to use someone in a new home, so we were a bit anxious about how it would go. We could not have asked for better people to care for our cats! We got tons of pictures and an extensive write up every day of our trip, putting us at ease that they were in good hands. Not only did they do the basics, but we really got the feeling that they care about our pets and looked forward to seeing them everyday. 10 stars!!

Rachel was wonderful with our cat, Eli! We hate having to leave him home when we travel, but he did wonderful with her. We especially loved all of the photos and messages so that we could see how happy and how well he was doing. Would absolutely love to book her again!

Katherine is hands down the best! She took such amazing care of Pumpkin and kept me looped in with the cutest photo updates every day. It’s a huge relief to find someone Pumpkin is so comfortable with. Professional, sweet, and totally reliable. I’ll definitely be asking her to watch Pumpkin again!

Frank stepped in when a last minute cancellation left us without a dog sitter. Frank was fantastic with communication, prompt with his visits, and detailed with the updates. Our Nala loves him. The first morning we were back, I’d swear she was sitting at the door looking for him… We will definitely recommend Frank!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
