“Kailey was a big help in taking care of my dog! She was super responsive and always sent the best updates with the cutest pictures. I could tell my girl was very happy being in Kailey’s care! Kailey will be my first choice for watching my dog in the future!!!”

“Andrea is kind, responsive, has excellent communication, and she did a wonderful job caring for our kitties while we were away. It feels so reassuring to have her loving care and presence, which allowed us to travel and have a sense of peace. We look forward to having her care for our pets again! Thank you, Andrea!”

“Ellie is fantastic! My fur baby Hazel is shy with new people but Ellie had great energy on their first meeting and allowed Hazel to open up to her on her own time! I trust Ellie with my previous fur baby because I know she treats Hazel like she’s her own dog. Ellie is also great with adjusting to my changing schedule which I really appreciate. I would definitely recommend Ellie!”

“Jacqueline is so caring with our two dogs. She ensures they are well taken care of when she watches them. She does a great job of keeping them entertained so they are nice and tired when we return!”

“Kaitlin did amazing! She was available last minute and was able to come and let my dog out 2 times. She was very kind and even changed my dogs water bowl out for fresh water. She spent plenty of time with Nala and I will definitely be booking Kaitlin again! I highly recommend booking Kaitlin for your pets needs. She’s very reliable and quick to respond! Best of all she supplied photos of Nala while I was gone.”

About: I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their family is away. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so I can provide care that’s tailored to them. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. I can reinforce basic training, keep your pup on their normal feeding and potty schedule, administer oral medications, provide walks and playtime, and make sure they get plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, or curling up for a nap after some belly rubs, I’ll make sure they receive the care they deserve. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I only work three days a week, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care for your pup. Whether it’s walks, playtime, sticking to their routine, or simply keeping them company, I’m able to give them the time and attention they deserve while you’re away. I strive to keep your pup’s routine as normal as possible while you’re away. I’ll follow your feeding, potty, walking, and medication schedule, provide plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I also reinforce any training or house rules you have in place to maintain consistency. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would my own and keep you updated with photos and messages, so you always know how your pup is doing.
“Jess came through for me on such short notice! She did a drop in visit for my doggo who is rather timid! She let me know when she was on her way, sent some pictures of play time, and even let me know on her way out so I could virtually lock up! She was patient with my dog as he adjusted to a new stranger in his house! Jess did a great job in making him feel comfortable and reassured me along the way! So grateful to have had the opportunity with her and will certainly be asking for her help again in the future!!”

“Alpa was amazing!! It was the first time that we left our animals with someone else besides a family member and she was great. She is a true professional in this field and will will definitely will be using her again. Thank you Alpa for everything”

“Kathleen is amazing and I want to keep her as an official dog sitter forever!! She is flexible and will always ask questions and communicate as needed! You can tell she really enjoys our animals and they love her!”

About: I have had dogs nearly my entire life. And a variety of other pets sporadically, like fish, hamsters guinnea pigs and others. I have also been blessed to have been a rescue foster and the reward of helping heal thier emotional and physical health and finding their Furever homes. I understand pets are family. I work from home FT so most availability is evenings and weekends. If you are super close by, I may be able to dropins during the week days. I am comfortable with all sizes ( we have 3 dogs 50-120 lbs) and do respect your training protocols. I always check the fences and gates before letting them out in the yard.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young, and I truly love and care for them from the bottom of my heart. As a dog owner myself, I understand how hard it can be to find a place where you feel completely comfortable leaving your pet. That’s one of the reasons I decided to start on Rover—I want to be that person and that safe place for others. I believe every dog is precious, full of love, and an important member of the family. I will treat your dog with the same love and care as my own. I currently work part-time and am available after 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. I am fully available on weekends and happy to work with your schedule. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for pets in my care. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and meals according to their regular schedule. I follow all instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding routines, medications, walks, and any special care needs. In a client's home, I respect their space and maintain the pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide updates, photos, and communication so owners can have peace of mind while they are away. As a preschool teacher and pet lover, I am patient, responsible, and attentive to individual needs, ensuring every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for.

“Amy was super helpful in watching out Pomeranian while we were out of town! She came over for a visit prior to meet Toby and he just loved her instantly. Amy was great with providing timely check in statuses and photos. So much easier to be away from our Toby with visual updates of his visits with Amy.”

“Elizabeth was a godsend on short notice to tend to our senior dogs with special care. We really appreciate the detailed report on our pets and we can tell she has a warm heart for animals. Thank you very much!”
“Anna was great with visiting our dog twice day. She sent photos which helped us know our dog was eating and enjoying the visits. She adjusted to a change in our schedule easily and responded quickly to every inquiry we sent through the app. We would definitely use her again.”

“Tanna took excellent care of my 2 cats. They warmed right up to here and enjoyed the playtime and head rubs while she was there. Tanna followed my instructions and made me feel more than comfortable with her. I will always book with Tanna moving forward.”

“Jenna was amazing!! She took great care of our cat, playing with him and cuddling him. We felt so comfortable knowing he was in good hands while we were gone. He loved when Jenna brought her baby over to say hi! She sent lots of cute pictures and videos.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Frisco
We appreciate the time and patience with Georgia and Charlie as this was their very first dog sitting experience. Randi was great. Lucky to have found her here on Rover. She’s exceptional and we look forward to booking for future dog sitting/boarding needs again. Thank you so much for caring for our babies.

Morgan took such great care of our cat while we were away for more than a week. She came by before our trip to meet us, spend time with our cat, and go over all of the care instructions. While we were gone, she was always on time, kept our home clean, and sent regular updates and pictures so we always knew our kitty was doing well. It was obvious she gave our cat lots of love and attention, and when we got home, our cat was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. The best part was that we never had to worry while we were away. It's not easy to find someone you can truly trust with your home and your pet, and Morgan is absolutely that person. We'll definitely be booking her again, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter. Your pets will be in great hands!
Isabella was amazing with Belle and Willie! She went above and beyond. After our pets had a traumatic experience boarding through Rover, Isabella kept them happy and relaxed! Willie even sat on her lap, which is a very big deal for him. She provided comfort for us and Willie while dealing with his sudden illness. We will definitely ask Isabella to care for our pets again! Highly recommend!!

Karina was amazing with my corgi! I highly recommend her. She was professional and warm! Early for our meet greet! She comes to walk my dog in the time range we discussed and communicates with me prior to arrival. She takes great care of my pup and we look forward to having her again soon! Thank you again Karina!

Nicole is someone I TRUST with my cats!!! She took the time to meet them, understand their needs and nuances as my older orange ladies are snowflakes - no one else is like them. Jokes aside, she communicated with me so clearly and perfectly for me to feel comfortable about my ladies when we were far from home. Nicole’s care, time, and natural animal love shines through in what she did for our ladies

Christine is the absolute BEST! We feel so extremely fortunate to have found her many years ago. She’s watched both our sweet late Cinnamon girl; and now our two morkies. They absolutely love her! Lots of attention and love and updates with pictures! We prefer home visits and we feel relieved and good knowing someone so reliable and responsible is there with them when we are away. Thank you so much for all the exceptional care and many pictures! Can’t recommend Christine highly enough!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
