“We were worried Huckleberry wouldn't ‘take’ to Mallory as he loved his previous sitter, but he now thinks he has 2 girlfriends! She was great! Additionally brought in our packages & mail, and played with him a lot outside, couldn’t ask for more!”

“Our dogs love Ximena! I’m so happy we found someone who is so reliable and caring to take care of them. We will absolutely book with her again-she is absolutely wonderful!”

“Kathryn was great!! She is very professional and caring! She did home visits with our 3 pets for a 7 days and send us pictures. WE HAVE FOUND OUR NEW PET SITTER! We highly recommend Kathryn.”

“Vibrance P was an amazing pet caretaker! She was attentive, reliable, and kept my bunny happy and well fed during my vacation time. Highly recommend her services to any pet owner!”

“Monica was great! She took excellent care of our boy for a week. She went above and beyond to get him to eat when he was being stubborn while we were away. Definitely will book again.”

“Stacy was absolutely amazing with our 4 pups. We had never used Rover before this time which was a scary thing. Normally, we have a family friend who is familiar with and known to my dogs that watches them. Unfortunately all three of our usual go to’s all had something come up. Stacy was the perfect fit for us who put us at ease knowing they were in good hands. She asked questions to better understand their needs and routines on top of other things. To be so thorough really does help make it an easy decision to book wit her again… which we will! Thank you Stacy for taking such wonderful care of our 4 boys!!!”

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of many different species, ages, and temperaments. Before moving, I regularly provided pet and house sitting for five different families each summer. Those households included dogs, cats, birds, lizards, geckos, snakes, turtles, fish, and other pets with detailed feeding, cleaning, and care routines. I currently continue to care for a large multi-pet household with both senior and young dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, freshwater and saltwater aquariums, exotic fish, crabs, seahorses, praying mantises, and numerous plants. I also have extensive experience caring for horses/farm animals, and worked as head equine manager for a therapy barn for two years, along with being a horse trainer for the past five years. At home, I have two dogs, seven cats, two horses, a miniature donkey, and chickens. One of my dogs is a Labrador, and the other is a mixed-breed dog I rescued from the side of the road. Living with and caring for so many animals has taught me to pay close attention to behavior, routines, appetite, comfort, and changes that may indicate stress or illness. I am experienced with puppies, senior pets, multi-pet households, and dogs with separation anxiety. I understand that some animals need more than a quick feeding or walk. They may need patience, consistency, quiet companionship, or someone who can remain in the home so they feel safe and secure. I am comfortable administering oral medications and subcutaneous injections when provided with clear instructions. My educational background includes an advanced college-level animal science course and an interactive veterinary medicine course, both completed with an A+ average. While I am not a veterinarian, this training strengthened my understanding of animal health, handling, safety, and the importance of following care instructions carefully. After working as a horse trainer for five years. That experience taught me how to remain calm, read body language, recognize signs of discomfort or anxiety, and adjust my approach to the individual animal. Those skills carry over directly to working with nervous, energetic, young, or unfamiliar pets. When caring for someone’s animals, I take both their pets and their home seriously. I follow feeding, medication, exercise, and household instructions closely, keep pet areas clean, and provide regular photos and detailed updates. My goal is to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. Animals have always been a major part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I do not shy away from detailed instructions, multi-step care, unusual pets, or households with several animals. In fact, I appreciate the opportunity to learn what makes each animal feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Every pet deserves patient, attentive care, especially the ones who need a little extra time and understanding. Animal care is already a major part of my daily routine, and I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available for early mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight stays, weekends, holidays, and many last-minute requests. I can accommodate dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week. Safety, consistency, and communication are my top priorities. Every pet has different needs, and I take the time to learn their routine, personality, exercise requirements, medications, and any special instructions before care begins. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, multi-pet households, separation anxiety, oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. During house sitting, I stay offer to stay overnight and spend as much time as possible with your pets, only leaving when necessary for classes, work, errands, or other commitments. I am happy to bring in mail and packages, water plants, take out trash, and help maintain your home while you’re away. I provide regular photo updates and communication so you always know how your pets are doing. I treat every home with respect and strive to leave it exactly as I found it. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, senior, medically involved, or simply has a detailed routine, I am committed to providing patient, attentive, and reliable care.
“Kayleigh is an absolute rockstar - incredibly attentive and communicative, she was proactive with both updates and feedback (including photos) that made a world of difference for an anxious pet parent! She was also generously flexible and patient showing me the Rover ropes, as well as with her time for key handoff and return on top of my high maintenance darling and her routine. Chloe and I both look forward to having her on repeat and couldn’t be more grateful!”

“Dubelsa is awesome! She helped to take care of my bunnies while I was away. My bunnies are not the easiest to take care of since they are very easily scared. Dubelsa was very patient and texted me with their conditions and pictures during the drop in visits. I'm very satisfied with this experience and I'll definitely book again with Dubelsa ??”

“Pamela was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a more caring and reliable person to look after our cat. From the very beginning, she was attentive, communicative, and clearly have a genuine love for animals. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our cat was not only fed and cared for, but also given attention while we were away. She kept everything clean and organized, followed all instructions perfectly, and even went the extra mile to write detailed report with pictures every single day. Wow! That takes time and effort. We are grateful and would absolutely trust her again without hesitation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone dependable, kind, and truly dedicated to pet care!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Prosper
This was my first time utilizing Miles services and he was great! We booked him last minute and he was available to assist. He sent photos of my fur baby, he was on time and kept in communication with me if he needed anything. I highly recommend him. 1000/10!!

Danielle is truly one of a kind, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. We are very selective about who we trust to care for our cats, and from the moment we met her, we knew they were in the best hands. She gave us complete peace of mind while we were away, which is something that’s priceless as pet parents. Her communication is exceptional. Every update was thoughtful, detailed, and reassuring, and it was so clear how much she genuinely cared about our cats. She didn’t just stop at feeding and checking on them—she spent quality time with them, paid attention to their individual personalities and needs, and went above and beyond to make sure they felt safe, loved, and comfortable. Danielle also took wonderful care of our home, paying attention to every little detail and treating everything with the same care and respect she showed our pets. It’s rare to find someone so dependable, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. We can honestly say Danielle will be our forever pet sitter. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to trust her with any of our fur babies, and we recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for someone truly exceptional. She is an absolute gem, and we are beyond grateful to have found her. Thank you, Danielle, for taking such incredible care of our family. 🐾❤️

I had an amazing experience with Rickey! From the very beginning, Rickey was professional, reliable, and incredibly caring. Rickey kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My pet was happy, well taken care of, and clearly loved the attention. It’s not easy trusting someone with your fur baby, but Rickey truly went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
