About: I have had pets my entire life. I have also pet sat for many neighbors and friends. My dog is currently the comfort dog for my elementary campus. I am off of school for the summer from school. I have more time than I do during the school year. I have availability many times throughout the day I typically care for animals in their own home where they feel the most comfortable. Weekends are when I'm fully available and focused on pet care; no rushing between other commitments. That means consistent walk times, unhurried playtime, and someone who's actually present rather than checking the clock. If you need reliable dog walks or drop-in visits, that's exactly the window I keep open." For drop-in visits, I follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible which includes feeding times, potty breaks, and any specific instructions you leave, so there's minimal disruption while you're away. I always do a quick check of food/water and make sure the home is secure before I leave. For walks, I go at your dog's pace rather than rushing, and I'm attentive to their comfort, always checking for signs of overheating, giving water breaks, and using leash/collar setups you're comfortable with. About: I’ve had various pets in the span of my life including cats,dogs,hamsters,gerbils, guinea pigs,fish, and frogs. I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals, and have experience working in a vet clinic for 3 years, as well as an animal sanctuary. I’ve always enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family, and have cared for blind and diabetic dogs, as well as ones with behavioral issues. One of my cats has separation anxiety, and I know what it’s like to worry and not want to leave your babies alone. I will give them plenty of love and entertain them while you’re away! And as I currently don’t own a dog, I would love nothing more than a furry friend to spend time with! I’m currently working part time and my schedule is very flexible throughout the week! I’m typically available to check in on your pet up to 3 times a day. As a pet owner myself, I understand worrying about them while being away. I’m a very reliable person that would give the upmost care and love for your baby. I would love to send updates and pictures to you often to give you peace of mind! I’m also very willing to do the small household chores like cleaning cages/litter boxes/ any messes they may make.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
