About: As a mother, teacher, and rescue board member, I know it takes a village to keep a household running. Now that I have the time, I am excited to support busy families with dedicated, experienced pet care. My Hands-On Experience Includes: Dogs (Big & Small): I have raised dogs from puppies to seniors. My personal pack includes two rescues that I successfully rehabilitated from extreme anxiety and severe underweight issues, and a third dog raised from a puppy with complex training, allergy, and dietary needs. Cats (Old & Young): I don’t personally own cats, but I always enjoy their independent and silly characteristics and always happy to help meet their needs while you’re away. Whether your pet needs structured routine care or loving interaction, your pets are in safe, experienced hands. As I transition from full-time teaching to part-time work, my top priority is focusing on my family while using my newfound flexibility to help yours. Because I am no longer tied to a school bell, I can be in your home when you need me most. Hours: Available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM Mid-Day Relief: Perfect for working parents who need midday dog walks, puppy potty training, or precise daytime feeding. Evening Routines: Available for dinner feedings, evening wind-downs, and locking up your home safely for the night. As a former teacher and current reptile rescue board member, safety and organization are second nature to me. My daily life is a masterclass in routine, seamlessly managing my three happy-go-lucky dogs, a diverse personal reptile collection (from diurnal geckos to nocturnal snakes and tortoises), and a rotating cast of foster animals. Why this means peace of mind for your family: Meticulous Attention to Detail: Constantly adapting to the unique needs of foster animals has trained me to recognize subtle behavioral cues, respect boundaries, and strictly follow specific dietary or medication instructions. Species-Specific Routines: Whether it is maintaining precise temperature and lighting schedules for a sensitive reptile, providing relief to your kitty cat’s needs, or keeping a high-energy dog on a structured schedule, I understand that different species require different care rhythms. Safety First: From double-checking tank latches to managing dog interactions safely, I prioritize a secure, predictable environment. I bring this blend of structured efficiency, complex care routines, and loving interaction into your home so you can rest easy knowing your pets are thriving.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since childhood on a farm and in home. I love spending time caring for and spending time outside with them. I am a stay at home mom that likes to stay busy. I have a fairly open and flexible schedule. We part time home school so by hiring us, my kiddos get the experience of working along side me to care for and love your fur babies as a business experience. We have a fully fenced back yard with a doggy door into the backyard. We are an animal friendly home with cats and a bearded dragon. We also are a kid friendly home with three kids under the age of 9.
“Ashley was absolutely amazing. We haven't left our pups in over a year and were nervous. She made us feel so at ease with her effort and care. She helped us with meds for one of our pups and truly just went above and beyond. We highly recommend her! Book her! You will not regret it.”

“My cat’s have been hiding since Conner started but he has worked so hard to gain their trust and 1 has finally stopped hiding from him! Conner is totally professional and loves his job.”

“Arisha is the best! We’ve used her multiple times to watch our 3 cats and she always does a great job. Very communicative, sends lots of photos, and our babies love her! :) Will continue to book her!”

“Jane was absolutely wonderful! She treated our babies like they were her own. From coming out ahead of time to meet us and our babies, to sending us text and photo updates, we couldn't have been happier with her service. This was our first time to use a professional pet sitter and, of course, we were very nervous about it. Jane was very reassuring and kept in constant contact with us. We look forward to using her the next time we go out of town!”

About: I got my first dog when I was 13. Meeklo was a chihuahua who lived to a very old age. I carried him in my arms on walks when he was too tired. I cleaned pee and poo off the floor and my belongings. He was not obedient at all, and I still loved him. Now I have 2 crazy dogs. The jack russell mix who treats our home like her personal jungle gym and the chocolate lab who talks back at you. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, little dogs, big dogs, cuddly dogs and yes, hyper crazy dogs. I work from home 4 days out of the week. You’ll often find me at home taking care for my 2 pups so that they aren’t locked in the kennel all day. On Saturdays, I visit family but I’m usually home by evening. I am attentive and patient. Your dog wants to step out and back in and out and back in? Your dog won’t go potty unless you stand in the rain with them? I have experience with those things.

About: I’ve had a chihuahua since I was a teenager. She’s just passed away in 2025 at the age of 18! She was truly my soul dog! Now, I have 2 cats, Clover (a Siamese) and Ash (a tuxedo). I love being their mom! I’m a careful pet owner (AKA I worry a LOT), so I will care for your babies the same that I do for my own! I’m currently looking for my next corporate role, so I’m available as often as you need me to check on your babies while you’re away! I have a fenced yard! I also am over-protective, so you can bet I will be overly cautious with your babies! I will treat them as if they were my own!
About: I’m a huge animal lover and have taken care of dogs since I was 12. I’m always excited to take them on walks and show them much love!💗 I am originally from Orange, California and just moved to TX. I am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and sitting throughout the week. I will accommodate to your needs and your pets’ needs to make sure they feel comfortable and safe. I’m very attentive and will take great care of your pets.
“This was a test to see if I would like a “service” versus the neighborhood sitter. Boy was I pleased! I’m so glad I decided to use Daniela to care for my two (cat) girls. She was timely, communicated clearly and well, and it seems the girls liked her too! Absolutely will be reaching out to Daniela next time I travel. Thank you!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Anna
Eliana was absolutely amazing with our boy Ricco! He is an older GSD with severe arthritis of the spine and she made sure he received a little exercise (mini walk) each day, provided his meds daily and honestly we could not ask for better care. Ricco was very relaxed and calm when we got home, always a good sign. We loved the pictures that followed each visit and he was literally smiling all the time. Being new to our neighborhood we were concerned we would find the right person for our baby and I'm happy to say we have found our person! Thank you Eliana for taking such good care of our boy!
If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets like they’re her own, look no further! She is absolutely amazing, and I can’t recommend her enough. My cats adore her, and it’s such a relief knowing they’re happy, loved, and well cared for while I’m away. She always goes above and beyond what’s expected. Not only does she take exceptional care of my cats, but she also looks after my home. She takes my trash cans to the curb and brings them back, offers to help with anything else around the house, and this trip she even accepted and put away my grocery delivery. She even offered to pick up any out-of-stock items with her own grocery order so I’d have everything I needed when I got home! That level of thoughtfulness and kindness is rare. She treats her clients like family, and it gives me complete peace of mind every time I travel. I truly couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter. She’s simply the best!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
