“This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”

About: I make sure that your animal is well taken care of. If I have school or other things going on, I make sure to stop by to see your pet every 2 or so hours. I give lots of treats and hugs and cuddles to your furry friends. I’m currently in school so I’m perfectly free after 2pm Monday-Thursday Other than that I’m free all day and available at your let’s need. Also available to check on your pet in between classes I make sure the pets are fed every day and night at the same time. I walk dogs at the same time every day and for the same amount of time. About: I have 2 cats that could not be more different. One is a Siamese that is basically my Velcro kitty! She’s almost always glued to me and is the definition of a scaredy cat. My other cat is a tuxedo and he has ENERGY - he makes our house a ton of fun! I’ve had them both since they were kittens. What’s funny is that before we got them, I didn’t think I liked cats. They scared me with how unpredictable they can be, but that’s because I had never been around them! Once I owned one, I realized that they just each have their own personality that you have to learn! About: I have been a dog lover all my life. Growing up with dogs in the house was just an extension of our family. I currently have 1 rescue dog who thinks she runs the house and likes to make sure she protects her baby (my daughter). My pup know basic tricks, well behaved, potty trained, gets along great with others once there is a warm up moment. Of course she love treats and getting to show off their tricks to get the treats. I left my teaching career to stay at home and begin starting an online business and my husband is an IT director. Now that I stay at home, I have the availability to give your pup more attention, play time and potty breaks! I will treat you dog as my own; they will get snuggles and play time just like mine. I will give them treats (if approved) when I give them to my own dogs. I will take them out for play time and we usually go out to potty every 3-4 hours when I'm home. I'm currently open to small dogs just because we have a small dog in a small space. Our property is unfenced currently and our dog is trained to go potty and return but with dogs I'm sitting we will leash and walk the dog and remain outside at all times. Your dog can sleep in a crate or in the same bed as ours. Our dog sleeps on the bed with our daughter and if you have a preferred bed for your fur baby you'd like to bring, they are welcome to sleep there as well. Can't wait to meet you and your pooch! “This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”
