About: I have 2 dogs, 2 cats. And several fosters through the year. So I run a small pack here. I am very experienced with managing multiple pets at a time. I work from home. A cat sleeps on my desk. And one or two dogs will sleep under it. I work from home. I begin the day by feeding the pack. Followed by vacuuming the mountains of fur. Followed by some morning calls. Then a walk if the weather is nice. And another one in the evening. Then move on to dinner, and bed time. Dogs usually sleep on or near the bed depending on the dog. The cats will do their cat thing. When a new pet comes into the home for boarding, I keep a close eye on things. I make sure to give them some time to decompress alone if needed. And then I introduce them to the pack. I keep a close eye on food and toys as they can sometimes lead to arguments. If I step out I may lock them up. Until I am comfortable that they will be ok unsupervised.
“Dakota has such a good time at Miss Marie’s house. When I dropped him off this morning, he literally pulled me to the front door. Thanks Marie for taking such good care of my buddy! 👍🙌👍”

“I was so nervous using Rover, but Lisa and David were amazing! My dog and I had the best experience! I loved getting photos, videos, and updates during his stay. He came home tired each day. They're yard is HUGE! Perfect for my energetic 1 year old husky mix! He got all the love and attention he needed throughout the day. I highly recommend booking with Lisa and David. I'll be using their service again very soon.”

About: Our family loves dogs. I can take care of dogs that are up to 25 lbs. We like giving lots of love and attention to our furry guests and enjoy playing in the backyard with them. Our 7 year old dog Chess is the sweetest host and has the best time when we have doggie friends over to play with and run around. I work from home so I’m always there to give them attention and lots of belly scratches. In the afternoons your dog will experience a full house with three older children who love to play and cuddle with our furry friends. Being a dog “mommy” myself I understand how important it is to make sure our puppies are well taken care off while we are out of town. Not only taking care of their basic needs, but making sure they get extra love while their humans are away. I like documenting your doggie stay with pictures and videos, and send them to you every day. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry baby soon! I work from home, so I am always available to give our doggie guests extra belly rubs and make them feel loved and cared for. I work from home so I have the flexibility to pay extra attention to our doggie guests. Our backyard is fenced. We never open the front door to avoid the dogs to accidentally getting out. To get in out out of the house we go thought laundry room, close the door, then open the door that goes to the garage. We take care of one dog at a time (or 2 from the same family). I always separate the dogs during feeding time.
About: I feel like I've always taken care of dogs. My family had dogs growing up. I have a senior dog and a four year-old dog. I have experience taking care of both senior dogs and younger dogs. I am available Tuesday through Friday for dog walk's, drop in visits or boarding opportunities. We would love to take care of your baby! I have a backyard that is fenced in. We have wood floors and a doggie door. I will play with them and take them for walks.
About: Growing up with my own childhood pups (Hunter Goldenpaws + Reno Ray), I learned firsthand the sheer joy and amount of responsibility that comes with caring for a pet. Those early experiences paved the way for my time at Camp Bow Wow in McKinney, Texas, where I dived headfirst into the world of professional pet care. I even curated their first ever "Doga in the Park" event that is now reoccurring! From puppy cuddles to senior snuggles, I've had the privilege of connecting with dogs of all ages and personalities. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my knack for understanding their individual needs. Whether it's going on a hot girl (or boy) walk or providing extra TLC for an older dog, I'm here to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, respected and right at home. Let's make some cute lil memories together! Mykah I'm currently working as a freelance marketing consultant and social media specialist so I have plenty of time to play/walk with your pup! I have a flexible set of hours, just send me a message! For clients preferring in-home care, I bring the same level of dedication and personalized service, ensuring their pet receives the utmost care and companionship right in the comfort of their own space. From regular walks to playtime and cuddles, I prioritize their well-being and happiness, making sure they feel loved and content throughout their stay. Your pet's comfort and security are my top priorities, and I'm committed to providing a nurturing environment that feels just like home.

“First of all, I am so thankful that Naga accepted to watch Quincy at the last minute. She maintained great communication throughout the entire stay and constantly updated me about Quincy, which gave me peace of mind. Naga was also very thorough in making sure Quincy received the right care by asking questions and verifying her preferences and needs. I had to extend for a few extra hours and ended up being late picking up Quincy because our church activity lasted longer than expected, but she was very accommodating and understanding. I truly can’t thank her enough for taking such great care of my fur baby. I highly recommend Naga for her excellent communication, flexibility, and genuine care for pets!”

I had a really great experience!! Vibrance was very sweet, attentive, and clearly knowledgeable about caring for dogs. She took the time to ask questions and truly understand my puppy’s needs, which I really appreciated. I felt at ease knowing my puppy was in good hands, and she came back happy and comfortable. I would definitely book with her again! (:

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
