“Dakota has such a good time at Miss Marie’s house. When I dropped him off this morning, he literally pulled me to the front door. Thanks Marie for taking such good care of my buddy! 👍🙌👍”

About: Our family loves dogs. I can take care of dogs that are up to 25 lbs. We like giving lots of love and attention to our furry guests and enjoy playing in the backyard with them. Our 7 year old dog Chess is the sweetest host and has the best time when we have doggie friends over to play with and run around. I work from home so I’m always there to give them attention and lots of belly scratches. In the afternoons your dog will experience a full house with three older children who love to play and cuddle with our furry friends. Being a dog “mommy” myself I understand how important it is to make sure our puppies are well taken care off while we are out of town. Not only taking care of their basic needs, but making sure they get extra love while their humans are away. I like documenting your doggie stay with pictures and videos, and send them to you every day. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry baby soon! I work from home, so I am always available to give our doggie guests extra belly rubs and make them feel loved and cared for. I work from home so I have the flexibility to pay extra attention to our doggie guests. Our backyard is fenced. We never open the front door to avoid the dogs to accidentally getting out. To get in out out of the house we go thought laundry room, close the door, then open the door that goes to the garage. We take care of one dog at a time (or 2 from the same family). I always separate the dogs during feeding time.
About: I love animals and I am a frequent traveler, so I understand the need to have someone that you trust, watch your animals while away. I have a very flexible schedule, and would love to help I am a stay-at-home mom with older children, so I have a very open schedule. I am also very flexible on time of day and frequency of visits. I have a lot of free time now and just looking for something happy to fill my day. I am a dog parent, and I will do anything I can help. I will feed, walk, stay a while, and/or whatever else is needed.
“Katie is beyond sweet and amazing with Willow. It was Willow’s first time with Katie and she had a blast. Katie sent tons of photos and was very communicative. Highly recommend and we will be booking with her again!”

“I am so excited to have found Christine. She takes excellent care of our furbaby, Elle. We are sent fun pictures and I know Elle is having a great time playing with Christine's family and the other puppies.”

“It was our dog’s first daycare experience, and we are beyond thankful for Angela’s great care. With a 5 pound dog, safety is top of mind for us and Angela was able to give us the peace of mind. We also really appreciated how kind and patient Angela was. We very much look forward to our next visit!”

About: I have approximately one year of hands-on dog sitting experience caring for both senior and younger dogs while their owners are out of town. My responsibilities include daily check-ins, feeding, ensuring fresh water, potty breaks, companionship, and maintaining a calm, comfortable environment. Caring for dogs of different ages has strengthened my patience and reinforced the importance of consistent routines, exercise, and attentive, individualized care. I am currently a stay-at-home dog mom to Coco, which allows me to have very flexible availability and respond to messages quickly throughout the day. In my home, I have one dog, a 9-year-old Yorkie–Schnauzer mix who weighs 11 pounds. She is playful, sweet, and enjoys walks and playing with her toys. While in my care, your pet will have both canine and human companionship in a calm, loving environment. I provide regular playtime, potty breaks as needed, and 20–30 minute walks depending on weather conditions. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I offer reliable check-ins that include ensuring pets have fresh food and water, taking them outside for potty breaks, and spending quality time with them so they feel comfortable and not lonely.
“It was an awesome experience!!! Tobi hasn't been to daycare for a while, so I was nervous, but Tobi seemed very comfortable and happy after the daycare. I'm very thankful to Debasish and Ankana!!”

Marie and her family are absolutely wonderful! I recently moved to Texas and my dog Winston has been anxious while he’s been adjusting and Marie has taken such amazing care of him. I don’t feel comfortable leaving Winston with just anyone. But I am always so comfortable and thankful when he’s with Marie because I know he’s in great hands. I cannot recommend Marie enough!!

She was so well taken care of, we received regular updates and photos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. Kiara came home happy and relaxed. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again! Thanks Jyothi!!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Frisco commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
