“Amazing job!! They took day-care of my baby and stayed home with her all day. They took her on walks and played with her as a fun family. Bliss was so excited to go back every day and I loved the comfort of knowing she was in good hands while I had to be away from her during the day.”

“Nana and Scott were incredible with my older pup! They were flexible on drop-off and pick-up times, kept my dog well fed and active, and were just generally kind and caring. I will definitely be scheduling with them again soon!”

“Always takes the best care of Dallas. I swear she never wants to leave Kathryns house. She literally pulls back on her leash to go back. Thats when you know your pup was well cared for and loved. Thank you!”

“Daphne has the best time at your place and is especially in love with sweet little Moka. Thank you for always taking such amazing care of her and sharing pictures throughout the day. I’d give you 10 stars if I could!”

“I was very nervous. We have never used this site before nor have we ever left Daisy in someone else’s care. After the doggy daycare and speaking with Tiffany, I felt better. Tiffany, took care of Daisy as if she was hers. Thank you Tiffany. See you soon”

“Tiffany is amazing. She took care of our four month old doodle puppy and 12 year old pound puppy giving them both love and attention. Communication before, during and after the visit was outstsanding and included a number of pics and updates. Tiffany wil be our go to for dog care from now on.”

“Kace did an amazing job with my two crazy dogs. She updated me frequently and I trusted her completely to do a great job, which she did! Great dog sitter! Great people! 10/10 recommend.”

“Ryan was the first Rover I used for my 4 month old Golden Retriever- Harper. I knew from the moment we met that he would be a wonderful, engaged caregiver and my initial impressions were spot on. He sent pictures and updates throughout the day and the fact that he has his own 2 year old dog was added reassurance that he was well qualified to look after Harper. I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone looking for someone you can trust unequivocally to take very good care of your pet.”

“We love Christine! Max had a wonderful time at her home each day and I knew that he was being well taken care of and loved. Destani has been a huge help with my Senior pup! I was nervous about her first visit, but all of my anxiety went away when I saw my pup settle in and trust her so quickly. Destani has a very calm and inviting energy about her. Will definitely continue to use her services each week 💕

Marie and her family are absolutely wonderful! I recently moved to Texas and my dog Winston has been anxious while he’s been adjusting and Marie has taken such amazing care of him. I don’t feel comfortable leaving Winston with just anyone. But I am always so comfortable and thankful when he’s with Marie because I know he’s in great hands. I cannot recommend Marie enough!!

Jyothi hosted our dog Kiara and couldn’t be happier with the way she took care of Kiara! She was so well taken care of, we received regular updates and photos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. Kiara came home happy and relaxed. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again! Thanks Jyothi!!

"Our 9-year-old dog, Lucy, is very timid, so we’ve always struggled to find someone we can trust her with. Leaving her with Archana for the first time today was a huge relief. Archana sent us real-time photos and videos of Lucy enjoying walks and playing with her children. I feel so lucky to have found her and am deeply grateful for her wonderful care!"

Our 2 Boston terriers had a doggie day care visit yesterday with Michelle & Allen. Our boys were spoiled rotten with tons of cuddles and lots of playtime. Michelle sent pictures throughout their visit. I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were in such great hands. Our pups are looking forward to their next visit!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Frisco commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
