“Nana provides such a confident and calm atmosphere when you arrive. The pups came home happy and relaxed! We will definitely be using her and her husband Scott again.”

“Amazing job!! They took day-care of my baby and stayed home with her all day. They took her on walks and played with her as a fun family. Bliss was so excited to go back every day and I loved the comfort of knowing she was in good hands while I had to be away from her during the day.”

“Bertha is a wonderful caregiver for your pup. She takes the time to understand your situation with your fur baby and accommodate accordingly to make them feel comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Kace did an amazing job with my two crazy dogs. She updated me frequently and I trusted her completely to do a great job, which she did! Great dog sitter! Great people! 10/10 recommend.”

“It’s our first time using Rover and we’re so lucky to have found Sohee & Shelby. Our puppy looked so happy and comfortable and we can’t wait to use their service again..SOON! :)”

“Xueting and Hongbaoyan took a wonderful care of our dog Mars. We received a lot of pictures and videos during his stay and our pup looked super happy. We highly recommend this couple! They are very responsible and they will make sure your pet is going to have the best time!”

“Mr Beethovan loved Mrs Maria. My Husband and I knew she was going to be our sitter the first day we meet her. She is very professional and highly recommended. The first visit was suppose to be only four hours but turned out to be six hours. After receiving pictures of Beethovan enjoying her so much we extended it another two hours on the first day. This is Beethovan first time being away from us and loved her unconditionally. He loved her so that I don’t think he was ready to come home. She sends pictures and text you in a timely manner with updates”

“Paulina is the best! She goes above and beyond for my little Elle. My dog literally starts whining when I grab her bag to go … it’s a long car ride 😂 she can’t wait to see her Auntie Paulina and her pup friends. It’s been a great experience getting my puppy properly socialized in a safe environment!”

“Ronas has been awesome at taking care of Pixel. Pixel is usually picky and won’t eat with anyone but us, so it says a lot that she consistently eats her food when she’s over there. She clearly feels comfortable and safe, and Ronas does a great job making her feel at home. Pixel also seems to love hanging out with Bailey, which makes the stay even better. I’d absolutely recommend Ronas as a reliable, caring sitter.”

“Thanks so much for providing excellent care for our Cavapoo. We greatly appreciated the video and text message updates. Blaze is looking forward to us going out of town again so he can come back to play with Copper and Lancer. Thanks so much, William.”

“Sean did a great job with our Bassett hound Lilly. Our family had a change in our travel schedule and Sean replied quickly and was accommodating to our doggy! Thanks so much Sean!”

“This was my dog, Finnley’s, first time staying here and he had a great time! Grace and Devin were awesome during our meet and greet, daycare, and then with dropping off Finnley at the end of the day! I loved that they provided updates (photos too). I chose to book with them over someone else because of their experience with dog training and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend them and definitely will be booking with them again :)”

“Dana is AMAZING! Working as a nurse for 13 hours a day 3x a week it’s so comforting to know that my sweet CoCo Chanel is being care for from someone who also is a Yorkie lover! She is so attentive and sweet! 🩷”

“Cary and Paul are the BEST! Topper is always so excited to visit- he runs to the their door! I am so thankful to have found such kind and caring people to take care of Topper. Wendy is a super sweet pup and Topper enjoys her company.”

“Destani has been wonderful to work with. She is very responsive and takes great care of my puppy. I can tell he enjoys his time with her, which makes me extremely happy. I love seeing the pictures of what's happening in their world while he's with her.”

“The most convincing sign that our pup had a great time was when I was chitchatting with Christopher at pick up and my dog went back inside their house, as if he wasn’t ready to leave. My pup seemed very happy with their dog Pablo and their house and neighborhood were very safe and in a great location. Super convenient, easy scheduling, great communication. We will definitely be booking again!”

“We are so happy to have found Christine! She is very knowledgeable and caring and we felt totally comfortable with Skye in her care! Skye is very timid and she really opened up quickly while there. We loved the pictures and even a video! It made us happy to know she was playing and enjoying herself during our move. Destani has been a huge help with my Senior pup! I was nervous about her first visit, but all of my anxiety went away when I saw my pup settle in and trust her so quickly. Destani has a very calm and inviting energy about her. Will definitely continue to use her services each week 💕

I had no concerns! My sweet L’Toot Toot had a wonderful day with Samantha and Sydney. It was easy to coordinate drop off and pick up times. I got wonderful pictures and updates as the day went on. I’m so impressed with Samantha and Sydney. They made me and my doggie so happy and I’m surely going to book with them again.

Our Oliver had another 4 days of absolute fun with Celeste and her sweet little Tula! Lots of fun time, walks, treats and belly rubs.......Oliver has been in wonderful caring and loving hands with Celeste and having Celeste's cute & adorableTula to play with is the icing on the cake!! Celeste always sends pictures and updates on Oliver and Oliver is very comfortable at Celeste's and is always ready to go back. Thank you Celeste, Cesar and Tula for the excellent care and a wonderful experience for Oliver every single time!! Celeste goes over and above in making our fur babies feel comfortable and at home! We could not ask for a better care giver for our Oliver and 100% recommend Celeste and her excellent and loving care for all precious fur babies! 🥰🥰🥰🌻🌻🌻

Ryan was the first Rover I used for my 4 month old Golden Retriever- Harper. I knew from the moment we met that he would be a wonderful, engaged caregiver and my initial impressions were spot on. He sent pictures and updates throughout the day and the fact that he has his own 2 year old dog was added reassurance that he was well qualified to look after Harper. I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone looking for someone you can trust unequivocally to take very good care of your pet.

Allison was super awesome! Our poodle has a new friend, they got a long as if they knew each other for years. We are so thankful we found Allison and hope we can request her again. She truly was so understanding and made the experience great for all of us!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your The Colony commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
