About: Since I’ve had a lab from puppy to sending him off puppy heaven 😭 I am well experienced with taking care of any dog in all stages of life. Now I help with friends and family’s puppies when needed. I am currently working remotely, so my schedule is flexible and I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup! As an active person, walks are always more enjoyable with a companion. Understanding every dog is handled differently, I can accommodate to what your routine is! Please don’t hesitate to let me know what your pup's feeding schedule, potty habits, or any specific rules you follow at home are so I can keep their day as normal as possible.
“Oh my goodness! If I could leave Kathleen 10 STARS I WOULD! 🌟 🤩 We had our 1st home walking visit today and it went so well. Having your pups in their own home with a trusted person like Kathleen is a real blessing. She is extremley detailed with all the precautions of getting in and out of your home safe and secure. She was on time, with arrival text messages so I knew she was there, and an AMAZING detailed recap on her departure with pics as well. I am so happy to have her, to continue our relationship with ROVER and look forward to the next play date. Best wishes Kathleen 🐾”

About: I am the designated dog sitter amongst my friends. I have taken care of my brother's dog for a month, a friend's dog for 2 months, and many times more with 8 years of dog sitting experiences. Since I do not have a dog of my own, I treat all the dogs I take care of as my own. This means they will be well fed, exercised, and bathed in joy :) I work a hybrid schedule so this creates flexibility on my end to watch you pet for the whole day when I work from home. I am an active person so I try to go for a 20 minute walk everyday and by providing pet care, this creates a win win situation for me and the pet! On weekends, I enjoy going for a run, if your pet is active, I can take the dog out for a jog too. I have a fenced yard and live in a pet friendly neighborhood with easy access to trail. Pets are allowed on the couch for comfort.
“Aivy is always so good with my baby . She has a very calm and relaxing demeanor which helps Athena. I love all the pictures and updates I get while she is there. I highly recommend Aivy!”

“Sarah is truly great! Upon meeting her, the dog instantly took a liking to her (and the cat did not take off under the bed). She quickly jumped in and has been a blessing as she comes in and gives the dog a potty break and a chance to stretch her legs/burn off some energy. My puppy is a giant breed so her playful mess can be "a lot." Her photos of their walk and the time she takes to love on the cat are a bright spot in my work day. And best of all, I don't worry about my girls while I'm away.”

About: Hi I’m Shea! I’m a 25 year old professional volleyball player living in Frisco for the year. I recently got injured and am trying to make some money doing what I love (being around animals) while I’m not playing! Growing up, I had two Great Pyrenees and a Cocker Spaniel, along with both indoor and outdoor cats, so I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of dogs and cats with different behaviors and lifestyles. I’m also currently a proud owner of a Ragdoll kitten named Lemon! My active lifestyle makes dog and cat caretaking and walking a perfect fit! I genuinely enjoy getting outside and spending time with dogs in all types of areas and weather. And I also love caring for cats and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Your pets will get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while they’re with me! I am currently going through rehab for an injury so outside of that my days are quite free to take care of your pets! Most weekdays I am free in the afternoons and evenings, and I am also free most weekends. My schedule is very flexible so feel free to ask about extra availability! I want to provide the best and most seamless care possible to your animals, so however you need them to be taken care of I can provide! Whether it is going on long or short walks, playing with them, or providing meals I am very adaptable. I have worked with animals that are only indoor and also both indoor and outdoor etc. so I am comfortable in most situations!
About: I don’t just walk dogs — I read their body language, match their pace, and make every outing feel like their favorite adventure, and fun. I shape my day around the pets I care for. That means whether your pup needs a morning stroll, a midday break, or evening exercise, I make sure their needs come first in my schedule. When I dog sit, I treat your pup and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own pets and home.

“Christine did a fantastic job with my 3. Every time I got a full, detailed report and photos and I know she is a true pet lover based on our conversation. When there was a problem getting in the house she contacted me immediately and we found a solution. Excellent service!”

“Alexis was amazing!!!! She gave such great updates and took amazing photos. Kept me well informed of her and my dogs whereabouts. Would 100% use Alexis and again and recommend her! She gave me such a peace of mind of one of my very long work days! Thank you again Alexis for loving my dogs the way I do!!”

“Taylor has been a great walker for our mini Aussie! She has gone above and beyond in the heat to make sure that Rosie gets a walk but doesn’t overheat, and makes up the time by playing with her. She takes great photos, is an overall delight, and was also very patient learning our janky front door. We’re so glad we found her!”

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for over 20 years and truly treat every dog like family. In addition to raising my own pups, I’ve fostered dogs, volunteered with a rescue organization, and have been providing pet care through Rover since 2019. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for hundreds of dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, or simply relax, I’ll provide the same love, attention, and care that I give my own. My goal is to make sure both you and your pup feel comfortable, confident, and stress-free while you’re apart. About me: Typically I work from home 2 days a week but those days are flexible and I’m home on the weekends. I volunteer for DFW Boxer Rescue and have fostered a couple dogs for them. I am a HUGE Boxer lover so if you have a Boxer...🙋🏼♀️ please, pick me!! If you want to know more about me or see photos and videos of my Rover dogs feel free to ask for any photos and/or videos. When I say that I treat pets like my children, it is no exaggeration! We treat all dogs like they are our own and they even sleep in the bed with us. I have crates for when they are needed (or wanted) but I do not require them nor do I want to use them unless necessary (which is mainly for meal time). I prefer for the dogs to roam the house and get comfortable like this is their own home.
About: My family has worked with rescue groups since I was little, so taking care of dogs and cats is second-nature to me! Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets for years and I have two of my own dogs that are my fur-babies and get only the best love and attention. I will treat your pets as I would treat my own! I am home full-time and my husband works from home, so there will always be someone here with the dogs. I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays as needed. I can check on your pets at your house and take them on regular walks. I have a fenced yard and doggy door for easy access to the backyard, if your pet can't decide on in or out. I have two friendly dogs to play with and can crate your pet if they would be more comfortable in their own space.

About: Hi there! I'm newly graduated working full time as a public accountant. I love spending time with my fur baby, and would love to do the same for you. Although my hours and availability is limited, I would like to help out when available. This is a hobby for me and something to do in my free time due to my love for animals! I can do whatever YOU want. If that means taking on walks? I'm in! Hang out at your house? Sure! Drop your baby off at our house? Absolutely! I'm here to make you being away from your loved one easier. I will treat your pet just as I would treat my own. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. (:

Angelica is absolutely amazing! This wasn’t my first time booking with her, and she has been wonderful every time. She came to check on Oakley right after she had a small procedure and stayed with her to make sure she was comfortable, which meant so much to me. She also came through for me on a last-minute request without hesitation. She’s so sweet, reliable, and truly cares. I always feel at ease knowing Oakley is with her. I highly recommend her!

Alexis is so sweet and really takes time and care with your animals. She is very detailed and always provides great updates. Knowing that my dog is well looked after when i'm not home gives me peace of mind. I love having Alexis as my dog walker and my dog loves her too!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
