“Aivy was simply the best... her detailed feedbacks and pictures of our baby made us feel very secure as it was the first time leaving our fur big baby. We will be calling her again and reccomending to our friends. She not only took care of Lily and became friends with her but she also helped cleanup our patio after a storm. Forever grateful❤️”

“Sarah is truly great! Upon meeting her, the dog instantly took a liking to her (and the cat did not take off under the bed). She quickly jumped in and has been a blessing as she comes in and gives the dog a potty break and a chance to stretch her legs/burn off some energy. My puppy is a giant breed so her playful mess can be "a lot." Her photos of their walk and the time she takes to love on the cat are a bright spot in my work day. And best of all, I don't worry about my girls while I'm away.”

“Alexis was amazing!!!! She gave such great updates and took amazing photos. Kept me well informed of her and my dogs whereabouts. Would 100% use Alexis and again and recommend her! She gave me such a peace of mind of one of my very long work days! Thank you again Alexis for loving my dogs the way I do!!”

About: I have been around dogs ever since I can remember. I currently have 3 dogs all different sizes small medium and large and they are my happiness! ❤️ I’m currently working full time as a receptionist, but I have Thursdays and Sundays off, and Fridays after 2! So those are the days I can walk doggies. I have a fenced in yard! With 3 dogs all different sizes small medium and large! They get treats everyday and daily walks! And they love their nap times.

“Christine did a fantastic job with my 3. Every time I got a full, detailed report and photos and I know she is a true pet lover based on our conversation. When there was a problem getting in the house she contacted me immediately and we found a solution. Excellent service!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life . While I don’t have any of my own now, I enjoy walking & checking in on them on my days off work! My schedule at work gives me some days where I’m very flexible. let me know how I can help! Always up to play with dogs. I am open to short walks or very long ones. I am confident with most sized dogs if they are not highly reactive and are leash trained. I ensure all dogs I walk have plenty of water and are not walking on overly hot ground.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have experience training puppies and handling all kinds of dogs. I have also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I learned about animal behavior and how to properly care for and work with different pets. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals. I have a flexible schedule throughout the week and can make time for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for in a client’s home. I pay close attention to routines, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions given by the owner. I also make sure pets feel comfortable by giving them plenty of attention and patience.
“Lindsey is the best! We’ve had Lindsey come and walk Lila for almost two weeks now and Lila loves her. I highly recommend Lindsey for your pet needs. She is reliable, dependable, and amazing with Lila. Thank you, Lindsey!”

About: I have such a passion for animals and absolutely love meeting new babies! 9 years ago I started just watching a friends dog, and quickly realized this was something I wanted to do more often. My time spent during the week mostly consists of gardening, reading, and running. I’m great with animals who have high anxiety or who take medications. And even dogs who are extremely active and need LOTS of exercise! To me, the most important thing a dog needs is to feel safe and loved. I also love taking photos and keeping the owner updated on how the dog is doing- Especially when I am new to them. Let me know if you’d like to know more! I’m available Monday through Friday and love helping care for pets throughout the week! I do ask for a little advance notice whenever possible for weekends, so I can plan my schedule accordingly and ensure I can provide the best care and attention for your furry family member. Feel free to reach out! I’d be happy to chat and see how I can help! 💕🐶🐱 I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing a safe, loving, and attentive environment. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident.
About: I have taken care of dogs the size of a mini pony, to the size of a cup. I love all sizes of dogs and, can’t wait to meet your furry friend. I am currently working full time as a dental assistant. I do have time on the weekends to stay and watch your furry friend. As well as I’m also a college student currently. I can make my schedule work around yours. I have one pitbull boxer mix that’s very friendly. As well as a fenced in home. I can also crate my dog if that is an issue.
About: I am a very active college kid home for summer looking for a job to make some extra cash! I have pet-sit for my friends and family for years, and I trained my dog since he was a puppy. I will gladly help your less leash trained pups, dogs that pull, or high energy pups! I'm currently home for summer break from Texas State University. Other than the two vacations I have planned, I am free all summer to walk your pups! I am a very responsible dog walker, I leash trained my dog myself when I was 12. Additionally I do CrossFit so I don't mind dogs that pull or are high energy.
About: Hi there! I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid and have an affinity for all pets. I am currently mom to a poodle mix and 2 adorable cats. I’ll treat your dog as if it were my own - with lots of love! I’m up to go anywhere your dog wants to go and take great care of them. I’m always ready to run with your dog or take it slow and chill. Long, slow walks or short, exhilarating walks are all up my alley. I’m willing to meet your dog with you beforehand to see if we’re a fit and make sure I can give y’all the safest and exciting experience. I also can do commissioned drawings of your furry friend! I hope to meet your companion soon and take the good kid on an amazing walk. I took a break from Rover (hence the old reviews) but I am thrilled to be back. I'm currently a graduate student so I try to do this doing my free time Sunday to Tuesday. I am available most mornings and will let you know if I can accommodate. I currently am only able to do drop ins and walks. I treat every client's home with respect and will make sure to leave the home as it was. My number one priority is your pet's safety and happiness!
About: I’ve grown up around all kinds of animals. From cats and dogs to chickens and goats, I am confident that, whatever the animal, and whatever the need, I can’t take care of it! I currently have two cats and three dogs of my own, so my patience is that of a brick wall being pummeled by a feather. And don’t let my size fool you! Though I may be the same height as your pup, I am fully capable of caring after a dog of any size. I’m currently going to school full time, so I have a completely open schedule while school is out for the summer break! When school starts again in the fall, I will continue to do over night pet sitting but will only do walks when I can. If their general care is listed, I follow that. I’ll reach out if I have any questions and with occasional pictures of your pet to keep you updated! I try to play with them every few hours, and take dogs on walks at least once a day. I also spend as much time as I possibly can with each animal!
“One of the best walkers and sitters on Rover! My dog Blue had an absolute blast with her. She’s incredibly considerate and attentive to every detail. I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 8 years old, and for the past 10 years I’ve learned a lot about taking care of him. Feeding him everyday, bathing him, learning what he likes and dislikes, and just giving him lots of love! My mom is an avid cat owner with at least 7 cats, and I have two of my own. I’ve gotten very patient at dealing with animals, which is one of my best qualities, as well as the fact that I am the biggest dog lover, I treat every single one like they’re angels! Because they honestly are! During this summer and I am free. On August 19 my semester starts, where I’m busy from 11a-4p on mondays, 12a-7p on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9a-12p on Fridays. Wednesday are open for me. The semester ends around December 13. And then in early January, I go on a week long vacation with my family. I am well aware that every pet has different personalities and needs. Of course there are the basics for every pet: make sure they have enough water, food, a place to use the bathroom, and the ability to relax and let out their energy. I can definitely provide them play time as I am young and energetic myself. But I also consider myself attentive to the needs of animals. Usually when I meet someone’s pet for the first time I try to figure out what they want and what I can do in order to make them happy, even if it’s just for a brief second. I read a book a few years ago by Alexandra Horowitz which is all about what is going on inside a dog’s head, and it really helped shape my understanding of them. I know cats are different, and in my experience they tend to be more low maintenance (though not all of them), but generally it’s usually about patience and letting them feel independent. I feel like my understanding of a dogs (and cats) needs is in tune, and if not, then I always try to figure it out and help provide it. The same goes for fishes and birds, even with my smaller amount of experience.
About: I've taken care of dogs of every breed since I was a young girl. I have cared for great danes, cane corsos, mastiffs, west highland terriers, mini schnauzers, yorkies, airdell terriers, and so many more breeds. My friends and family members have me watch their dogs for them when they leave for vacation and can't take their fur babies with them. I am currently working hybridly M-F. I have my own 4 year old Mini Schnauzer that I stay home with after work and on the weekends. He is very active and playful, but also a snuggle bug so we frequent naps and cuddle time when we aren't out for a walk. At my house, animals are not treated as animals, but as children. Furniture sitting is allowed, sleeping in the bed is allowed. I have built a trusting relationship with my fur baby, so while he is crate trained, I simply don't crate him as he has earned free roam around the house. He usually curls up on the couch watching spongebob and sleeps.

Alexis is so sweet and really takes time and care with your animals. She is very detailed and always provides great updates. Knowing that my dog is well looked after when i'm not home gives me peace of mind. I love having Alexis as my dog walker and my dog loves her too!

Deepika was pleasant to work with for my parent's dog. She was always timely, professional, and loved our dog like her own. It was such a relief to have someone help out after my dad's surgery and I couldn't have asked for a better person to take care of Maggie than Deepika!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
