About: Hi! I’m a lifelong pet lover with 3 furry family members of my own - 2 cats and 1 large, lovable (and occasionally uncoordinated!) dog. Walking him in all kinds of weather and navigating tricky apartment stairs and neighborhoods have given me plenty of real-life experience in safe, confident dog handling. At home, my two cats don’t always see eye to eye so I am comfortable recognizing signs of stress or tension between pets. I follow schedules and instructions closely and I know how much peace of mind it brings to get updates while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets the same way I care for mine - patiently, safely and with lots of love (and happy tails!) My job is Monday thru Friday from my home. I can easily take time to spend time taking care of pets. I stress when I’m away from my own pets and absolutely know the feeling of leaving them behind. I sometimes would rather stay home than go on vacation. I would love to help ease that for others and get to know all new pets. I have somehow gotten my cats on a routine that wakes me up at 6am every morning. I don’t love it but it’s cute that they’re on a routine. I walk my dog every morning and give him a treat when the cats eat dinner so he doesn’t feel left out. He has food… he just doesn’t want it.

About: I often take care of neighbors and friend's pets when they leave town. The most I work in a day is 4 hours, which would be the longest I am ever away from your pets. I drive and am extremely flexible, do not vacation much. I am loving, caring, and take great responsibility in my work. I am very prideful in doing a great job in everything I do, and that is what you can expect from me. I love animals, and I will certainly love your animal when we are together. If I let someone digs it my dog, I would expect nothing but the best, nothing but fun, gentleness, kindness, and love. I can be held accountable for all these defining qualities of a petsitter. About: I’ve had a dog since I was 8 years old, and for the past 10 years I’ve learned a lot about taking care of him. Feeding him everyday, bathing him, learning what he likes and dislikes, and just giving him lots of love! My mom is an avid cat owner with at least 7 cats, and I have two of my own. I’ve gotten very patient at dealing with animals, which is one of my best qualities, as well as the fact that I am the biggest dog lover, I treat every single one like they’re angels! Because they honestly are! During this summer and I am free. On August 19 my semester starts, where I’m busy from 11a-4p on mondays, 12a-7p on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9a-12p on Fridays. Wednesday are open for me. The semester ends around December 13. And then in early January, I go on a week long vacation with my family. I am well aware that every pet has different personalities and needs. Of course there are the basics for every pet: make sure they have enough water, food, a place to use the bathroom, and the ability to relax and let out their energy. I can definitely provide them play time as I am young and energetic myself. But I also consider myself attentive to the needs of animals. Usually when I meet someone’s pet for the first time I try to figure out what they want and what I can do in order to make them happy, even if it’s just for a brief second. I read a book a few years ago by Alexandra Horowitz which is all about what is going on inside a dog’s head, and it really helped shape my understanding of them. I know cats are different, and in my experience they tend to be more low maintenance (though not all of them), but generally it’s usually about patience and letting them feel independent. I feel like my understanding of a dogs (and cats) needs is in tune, and if not, then I always try to figure it out and help provide it. The same goes for fishes and birds, even with my smaller amount of experience.

And went over 2 miles with her! My dog came back exhausted. She even made sure to stay in the shade as much as she could for my dog who gets rather hot towards the end of her walks. She also responds immediately to my inquiries and is super flexible with my schedule as I usually want a walk for my dog within a couple hours of me inquiring. Amazing for same day long walks!
