Excited to meet your best friend!
I’ve had dogs and cats for pretty much my entire life, both family pets and my own. I currently have a 12yo poodle mix with epilepsy and a 3yo miniature schnauzer with anxiety. This allows me to be well versed in senior dogs, dogs with special needs, medication administration, and separation anxiety. Both of my dogs are rescues. I adopted my eldest when she was 6 months old and also helped care for my sister’s bernadoodle puppy when she got him as a new puppy, so I love puppies as well! When I was in college, I worked at PetSmart in the “Pet Hotel”, and was tasked with caring for many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs in various group sizes. I truly think dogs are a man’s best friend, and I can’t wait to meet yours ☺️

My dog Otto is an escape artist, so I know the importance of making sure your pet can’t make a run for it. I also am very flexible and willing to follow whatever rules/guidelines you set for your home and pets.

Our cats were feral so they were hiding from Rachel the whole time. But she made sure they were alive and well fed. She went above and beyond to look for Nori every where who is very good at hide and seek. Thanks Rachel!
I know this is my third review of Rachel but my dog has had numerous walks with her and she always is amazing. Gave my dog plenty of water on the walk from a new bottle I started using. And went over 2 miles with her! My dog came back exhausted. She even made sure to stay in the shade as much as she could for my dog who gets rather hot towards the end of her walks. She also responds immediately to my inquiries and is super flexible with my schedule as I usually want a walk for my dog within a couple hours of me inquiring. Amazing for same day long walks! Thanks again Rachel!
My dog had a second walk with Rachel and she was amazing. Was very accommodating to my schedule and even walked my dog in the rain! Definitely will book again!

I would love to recommend Rachel G for rover.com. As long as I have known her, she has always been a dog mom. Rachel is extremely compassionate with her dogs, and truly wants the best for them. She works with them constantly so they can be their best for her, and she can be her best for them. I would not hesitate in allowing Rachel G to care for my dog in any situation.
Rachel is dog mom extraordinaire! She has her own two babies that she loves to bits, and she has experience giving one of them medication daily for 10 years, which could be a plus if your pet takes medication. Speaking of experience, she also worked at Petsmart in the doggy daycare, so she’s truly a professional. I’ve had her care for my cats multiple times while traveling, and she always makes sure their needs are taken care of, including cuddle time and treats!

Schedule
I currently work from home full-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. As long as I don’t have a meeting I can do a quick drop-in, and am available before work, during lunches, and after work for longer walks.
