“Hilda has been an absolute lifesaver during my recovery from knee surgery. She's come by 2 or 3 times a day to walk Nyx. Nyx is always excited to see her and comes back from her walks happy and tired! I'll definitely be using Hilda's services again.”

“If I had to describe John in one word, it would be “amazing.” We are new to Dallas and needed someone to walk our two dogs on very short notice, and John was kind enough to step in and help. Our dogs are not difficult, but they definitely have their own personalities. One is a 120 lb German Shepherd who loves chasing squirrels (and climb trees to meet their families), rabbits, and sometimes even butterflies, and he also thinks he needs to make friends with every dog he sees. Our other one is an 18 lb Shih Tzu who is a little pampered and does not like walking in the sun. What really stood out to us was how patient, caring, and thoughtful John was with both of them. During the first couple of days, when our Shih Tzu decided he was done walking after finishing his business, John actually picked him up and carried him while continuing the walk because our German Shepherd still wanted more time outside. For the last few days, he even walked them separately so each of them could get the individual attention they needed. That level of care says a lot about John. He was always on time, courteous, respectful, responsible, and genuinely loving toward our dogs. We are very thankful for his help and would definitely look forward to having him take care of our boys again in the future.”

“I needed someone to walk my dog ASAP. He responded within seconds and was at my house in under 30min. Unbelievable! So helpful and my dog seemed to have a great time. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Ashley, and I am 22 years old. I am a recent graduate of Texas Tech University. Wreck'em Raiders! I have been caring for animals through Rover since June 2026. Although I am new to this industry, I have grown up around animals all my life. I have cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, and I've yet to meet an animal that didn't make me smile. I strive to offer all my human and furry customers high-quality care. I pride myself on ensuring that my rates are budget-friendly and flexible because having an animal doesn't need to break the bank. I offer tailored routines based on what your animal needs, with frequent updates so that you can be sure that your animal is safe and happy in my care. I look forward to meeting you and caring for your furry family members! My schedule is typically highly flexible and allows for very frequent or constant care, although I currently have a Saturday exception that is described below. As a student, I am taking a Saturday class at UTA that runs from 8 AM to 5 PM on these dates: September 12th and 19th; October 3rd, 10th, 24th, and 31st; November 14th and 21st; and December 5th. Because of this, if you are inquiring about house sitting on Saturdays, your animal must be comfortable being alone for 8 hours. I do my best to ensure that your animal will always be safe, happy, and comfortable in your home or apartment. I have worked with reactive dogs and do my absolute best to make sure your animal and neighbors stay safe. My goal is to make sure your dog stays calm, comfortable, and stress-free while you are away.
“Dak loves Mariana, he gets really depressed when we have to leave him, but the highlight is he gets to walk twice a day with her. She is kind and patient. We appreciate very much the help she provides and she is easy to reach at anytime..”

“Kimberly is amazing. She loves on my dog as if it were her own and even makes sure my cat gets some loving as well. She is wonderful and I would highly recommend her. Having someone I can trust with my baby is a hige stress relief.”

“Jordan was incredible with our little Rozlyn. She made sure Rozlyn’s walks were fun and she got adequate exercise. I appreciate her patience, attentive approach, calm demeanor and caring treatment of Rozlyn. I would give her 10 stars if I could.”

“Bhumi was excellent! She made an effort to come meet Brady ahead of time, she was easy to communicate with, and left lots of pictures. Will definitely ask her to walk Brady again!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, growing up surrounded by pets of all kinds—including hamsters, bunnies, cats, and dogs. That lifelong experience taught me how to care for animals with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. I have prior pet care/sitting experience and understand the ins and outs of making this a great experience for your pets! I’m currently a proud cat mom to two sweet kitties, and I know how important it is to feel confident your pets are safe and happy when you’re away. My goal is to provide that same peace of mind for other pet parents by creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe and cared for! I work remote and have flexibility in my main schedule. My two kitty cats are on a routine so I am happy to keep your pet in theirs. My services will be provided any day of the week as long as I’m available :) I prioritize making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow any specific routines or care instructions closely, whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or administering medications. I’m confident working with pets of all needs. I create a nurturing environment, always giving each pet the attention and affection they deserve. My goal is to make sure they feel happy and secure, knowing how loved they are. 💛
About: I have experience based on dogs I have owned or watched with: reactive dogs, senior dogs that are mobility-challenged, dogs learning leash manners, administering medication, group walks, clicker training, etc. Whatever your dog is working on or needs - I am more than happy to get up to speed and make sure they are supported! When I take your dog out on a walk or care for them in your home, you can be assured I will expertly take care of them and earn your trust each time by prioritizing safety & well-being. I have trained my own dog & will re-enforce positive behaviors you have been working on with your dog so they don’t regress. We will always have fun! I have a reliable, dog-friendly Subaru for transporting your dog as needed! I am experienced with special needs dogs, dogs who need training reinforcement, etc. I am up for any challenge and will care for your dog with a smile regardless of whether they’re having a great day or an off day.
About: I’ve taken care of little fury friends for over 3 years. Always open to new ideas and tools whenever possible. I enjoy being active and incorporating play into everything. I am fairly open at the moment. Willing to adjust schedule to what seems fit. Love to make our fury friends happy in any way possible. I have a big outdoor space, just what our fury friends like! Willing to crate if needed. Whatever your preference is, just keep me informed.
About: As a pet care taker myself of a 13 year old 5 lb Chihuahua, 4 year old 20 lb Dachshund, and a 9 year old 120 lb Chocolate Labrador Retriever, I love spending most of my time with my little family. Since moving away to college and them staying with my parents, I am looking to help other people with their fur-babies. I have trained all of my current and previous dogs at a young age making well mannered, and with owning such an old dog, I know how to correctly handle a senior pup that needs attention. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I am available to assist however I can. I am a full time student at University of North Texas with early classes which means I have plenty of availability throughout the day for anyone to contact me. Although I am not a familiar face in their life, I will walk them around places that they find familiar such as their neighborhood in order to bring them tranquility and comfort when meeting a new person such as myself.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I’ve regularly watched family friends’ dogs and neighbors’ dogs, and I have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs. Whether your dog is young and full of energy, needs extra exercise and playtime, or is older and needs a slower, more careful approach, I’m happy to adjust my care to what makes them most comfortable. I treat every dog like they’re my own and want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently a chiropractic student, so I have a structured school schedule that allows me to plan my days around pet care. I have a dog of my own, and I make sure he gets outside 3–4 times a day. I also make it a priority to come home from school and check on him to make sure he’s doing well. I would provide that same level of care and attention to other people’s dogs. I’m happy to work walks, potty breaks, and check-ins into my daily routine, and I’ll always make sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and taken care of while you’re away. I have a very friendly Mini Goldendoodle of my own who absolutely loves being around people and other dogs. I also have a fiancée who adores dogs just as much as I do, so our home is a loving and welcoming environment for pets. When caring for a client’s dog, I treat them like they’re my own. I make sure they are supervised, safe, comfortable, and getting the attention and care they need. I’m also respectful of each owner’s home and routines and will follow any specific instructions you provide. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is in a safe, caring environment while you’re away.
About: I truly love animals 🐾 I’ve spent 12 years caring for pets — feeding, walking, grooming, and everything in between. I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds, including a sweet tripod girl who hopped around better than some dogs with all four legs, a loyal gentle giant German Shepherd, and currently an energetic lab/Great Pyrenees mix who keeps me active and on my toes. Friends jokingly call me the “animal whisperer” — even shy, nervous, or standoffish animals tend to warm right up to me. I also have deep experience with cats, so if you’ve got both dogs and cats, I’ve got you covered. I keep a flexible schedule outside of a part-time job, which leaves plenty of time for walks, feeding, and check-ins. I'm happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet's routine. I don’t offer boarding, but I’m happy to provide walks and drop-in visits at your home. I’m attentive to safety details like secure leashing, checking food and water, and following any specific instructions you leave for meds, routines, or quirks. Your pet’s space and routine are treated with care and respect.

Jamie is always on time, takes such great care of our dog during their walks and provides the best updates throughout the day! She also communicates extremely well and makes my wife and I feel relaxed knowing our dog is safe and well taken care of! Thanks Jamie for all that you do!

Josh walked my dog while I was on vacation and was very responsive with setting up the days and times for the walks, as well as very well communicating while walking her and talking cute pics of her on her daily walks. He is very punctual and was really great with my Booboo!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
