“If I had to describe John in one word, it would be “amazing.” We are new to Dallas and needed someone to walk our two dogs on very short notice, and John was kind enough to step in and help. Our dogs are not difficult, but they definitely have their own personalities. One is a 120 lb German Shepherd who loves chasing squirrels (and climb trees to meet their families), rabbits, and sometimes even butterflies, and he also thinks he needs to make friends with every dog he sees. Our other one is an 18 lb Shih Tzu who is a little pampered and does not like walking in the sun. What really stood out to us was how patient, caring, and thoughtful John was with both of them. During the first couple of days, when our Shih Tzu decided he was done walking after finishing his business, John actually picked him up and carried him while continuing the walk because our German Shepherd still wanted more time outside. For the last few days, he even walked them separately so each of them could get the individual attention they needed. That level of care says a lot about John. He was always on time, courteous, respectful, responsible, and genuinely loving toward our dogs. We are very thankful for his help and would definitely look forward to having him take care of our boys again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of 4 dogs over the course of 6 years, one of them being my own and I would make their stay luxurious. I like to pamper the dog if it is okay, and give them the best stay ever. I am currently a college student, and working, and I don’t have to go office full day, so I am pretty much free all day. My parents are at home all day too and they can help. I take care of my dog by giving him plenty of treats and outdoor time, and I always give him kisses. I listen to what he says and make sure he is always having a good time. He is always bored though because of me being busy quite often and so I think pet sitting would be a great option for him to have company.

About: I've loved dogs and cats ever since I was a little girl. My family and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their pets, and I always enjoy spending time with them! I currently work hybrid from 9am-5pm, so I am able to take care of your pet throughout the day for most of the week. When I do go into the office, I will make sure to make your pet my priority before I leave and when I'm back. 😊 I make sure that they are well fed and well rested! I try to stick to their daily routine as much as possible, to keep them comfortable and happy!

I have been caring for animals through Rover since June 2026. Although I am new to this industry, I have grown up around animals all my life. I have cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, and I've yet to meet an animal that didn't make me smile. I strive to offer all my human and furry customers high-quality care. I pride myself on ensuring that my rates are budget-friendly and flexible because having an animal doesn't need to break the bank. I offer tailored routines based on what your animal needs, with frequent updates so that you can be sure that your animal is safe and happy in my care. My schedule is typically highly flexible and allows for very frequent or constant care, although I currently have a Saturday exception that is described below. As a student, I am taking a Saturday class at UTA that runs from 8 AM to 5 PM on these dates: September 12th and 19th; October 3rd, 10th, 24th, and 31st; November 14th and 21st; and December 5th. Because of this, if you are inquiring about house sitting on Saturdays, your animal must be comfortable being alone for 8 hours. I do my best to ensure that your animal will always be safe, happy, and comfortable in your home or apartment. I have worked with reactive dogs and do my absolute best to make sure your animal and neighbors stay safe. My goal is to make sure your dog stays calm, comfortable, and stress-free while you are away.

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for over 20 years and truly treat every dog like family. When I say that I treat pets like my children, it is no exaggeration! We treat all dogs like they are our own and they even sleep in the bed with us. I have crates for when they are needed (or wanted) but I do not require them nor do I want to use them unless necessary (which is mainly for meal time). I prefer for the dogs to roam the house and get comfortable like this is their own home.
