“Ashley was great and reliable! Our cat loved that she would make time to sit with him and give him lots of pets and treats! Always responsive when we had questions, and we never had to worry about our cat while we were away. She is awesome!”

“John did an excellent job taking care of my dogs, Sadie and Artax. He was punctual, friendly, and communicated perfectly throughout the entire process. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing my dogs were in good hands while I was away. I truly appreciated the updates and professionalism. I would absolutely recommend John to anyone looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to care for their pets.”

“My cat sitter that I’ve used for years was retiring and I was in panic mode to find a new sitter. My sister recommended Rover. I did 3 Meet and Greets and Jackie stood out! She was comfortable, knowledgeable, and interested in my cats, not just what she was expected to do. So glad we met. And her services were perfect. Always sent note and pics each day. I was never concerned and could enjoy my vacation. I will be rebooking for my next trip!!! Thank you Jackie ❤️”

“Julie has catsat multiple times for me and my two cats love when she takes care of them! One of them can be quite skittish so I was worried he wouldn’t come out for her, but he does and she gives him lots of attention! I really appreciate that Julie spends a good amount of time with them giving them food and stimulation, and she also helps bring the mail in and empty the litter boxes. I will definitely continue using Julie in the future and couldn’t recommend her more!!”
“Camilla was great with my new pup Storm. I’m an overnight nurse & i feel so bad leaving him in a crate during my long hours. I’m so grateful that she was able to play with him for a period of time. Will definitely use her in the future!”

“Katelyn did a great job caring for Cantaloa and administering medicine for her. She took photos and gave informative updates, so I knew that my cat was well taken care of.”

Looking forward to working with you! I am currently a graduate student at UT Arlington in their social work program. I intern at Methodist Dallas Medical Center three times a week, and I work part time the rest of the week/ weekend. My schedule often varies, but I will make sure to keep my calendar updated each month. If certain times don't work for you, just let me know! I am very flexible! I have a Belgian Malinois (Star) that I walk often because of her endless energy! I enjoy playing with her whenever I am home from my internship or class. “Joanna was great! Very communicative, reliable, and my cats loved her. Her passion for pets shines through every check in and update and I felt totally comfortable leaving my kitties in her hands and have already rebooked her. 5 stars!”

“We hired Lily for a last minute pet sit after our other pet care plans fell through and she did an awesome job! We felt like we could really enjoy our weekend away without stressing because we knew our guy was in great hands (and got lots of photos and updates). Wish she wasn’t moving because she’d be our first choice to watch our dog next time we go out of town!”

“Krista was available at short notice for me and lived close to come check on my cat for vacation! Prompt, reliable, good communication, and my cat enjoyed her company.”

“Kimberly was amazing with my bunny Floppy. She is currently sick and fighting a condition and Kimberly was extremely kind making her company and keeping us updated on her health. When Floppy’s condition started to worsen, Kimberly was nice enough to take her to the vet to get checked out and pick her up as well. We are extremely grateful and appreciative with the way Kimberly took good care of our bunny. We definitely will be rebooking again for our next vacation. Your pets are in safe hands with Kimberly. Thank you!!”

About: I’ve cared for a lot of breeds and sizes of dogs, bunnies and cats in the past few years, including pop in walk services, house sitting two or one at a time, feeding, and playing with pets. I love animals and have chosen to not own one of my own so that I can care for others as much as I can I currently work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays which frees up 2 days during the week for me to pay attention to your fur babies, take them on walks, feed them, or even work from pet friendly facilities. I also have my weekends free and can house sit or board for those who need it. My apartment has a play yard available for dogs, I live by a lake and can take your dogs on a walk around the lake or around my apartment depending on your preference. Pets can be crated in my spacious apartment if needed and you are welcome to bring all your toys for your babies.
“Jane was great with my cat and sent prompt responses to all of my messages. She gave helpful updates and sent photos and videos, which was appreciated. She was patient with my girl, who is very shy with new people :) thank you, Jane!!”

“If you’re looking for a pet sitter, do not hesitate to have Maria watch your fur children! You get excellent trustworthy service from both her and her husband as a duo! She kept me updated with constant communication and my kitty seemed very happy to have them come spend time with her. I was especially pleased with Maria’s photography skills, she has given me some amazing pictures of my little girl that put many smiles on my face while I was away! 10/10 would book again!”

“Bhumi is the best! I asked her to show up a little earlier and she was able to do so. I SO appreciate her flexibility and the feedback she gave me regarding her visit with Tomato! I would soooo keep using her and HIGHLY recommend!!! Thanks Bhumi!!”

Lily was fantastic! This was my first time utilizing a sitter for my elderly dog. We arranged an introductory meeting and all of my worries and concerns disappeared. I was able to enjoy my vacation due to Lily’s loving care and detailed correspondence on a daily basis. I will definitely seek her out for services in the future!

Haley was awesome! She was very attentive and took such great care of my cats while I was away. They absolutely loved playing with her, and it was clear they were comfortable and happy. I knew they were in good hands the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would definitely recommend Haley to anyone looking for a caring and reliable cat sitter!
Susan was everything we could have asked for in a cat sitter! She sent many photos, multiple videos, was detailed in her notes to us after each drop-in, and was just wonderful! She played with our cat and sat with him to give him head scratches (which he loves!) We will definitely be reaching out to her when we need a cat sitter next!

Dasia is great, punctual. She gets to know your pets. She asks questions instead of guessing when it comes to caring for your baby. She keeps special instructions documented in notes. I received daily pics of Little Lola. I am definitely comfort with Dasia watching my dog again! I’m glad I found her. She is great!

Emily has watched our dogs multiple times now, and we couldn’t be happier with her care. She has a wonderful connection with them, is extremely communicative and punctual, and is very accommodating to both our puppy and our older dog. I highly recommend her services and will absolutely use her again in the future.

Karina was wonderful with my gang of five. She fed them, administered medication and still found time to love on all of my babies. Communication was excellent, heartwarming photos and texts everyday. She showed genuine care for each of their individual personalities.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
