About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and spent many wonderful years with my dog, Bentley, a 50-lb lab/pit mix we adopted when he was three. He started out a little nervous, but with patience, love, and lots of long walks, he grew into a confident and happy pup. Bentley lived to be 14 and loved nothing more than sprinting after tennis balls and exploring fields during our walks. After losing him in 2024, our home feels a little quieter. While we’re not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss being around dogs and would love the chance to spend time caring for yours. My husband and I did adopt a kitten last year named Ayla (which means “moonlight”), a small tribute to Bentley, who passed on the day of the total eclipse.
